First off, I want to give you a compliment, with a small caveat. CAVEAT: I've seen quite a few of your videos but I'm not sure of your name...so forgive me! Now for that compliment...IMHO you put together one of, if not the best, quality videos!! They have really nice & smooth video cuts from one piece of info to the next!! Also, your graphics, & liberal use of them, are SO informative, well placed, & look top tier! So thank you for all your craftsmanship, time, & effort you put into your videos!!! Last, but not least, is THIS video, for the current AliX sale, it has some real "banger" choices! Unlike some of the other YT channels, {which shall will remain nameless} your selection of timepieces are nice and varied. In regard to the addiesdive explorer, the dark blue dial, was like a enamel dial before, like a slight sheen to it. But now it’s a lighter blue but sunburst.

I have the addiesdive in the dark blue. It’s a great watch for the money, I’d have been happy with it at twice the price although the clasp isn’t great but i swapped that for a better one.

Some good suggestions there Al 👍 I have been looking for a nice vintage snowflake homage for a while and bought the Watchdives model in the video. It's a very nice watch which I definitely recommend. I also have the white San Martin SN0129 on the way. I did consider the red dial but I chise the white as it looks more versatile so I'll probably wear it more often

@@TimeForAnotherWatch Having just re-watched the video with my 'ears open lol ' good choice on the snowflake. Having slept on this I'm sorely tempted too as going by the renders this looks a darn fine attempt on the OG Tudor Sub 7016 / 9401 plus the additional saving of a kidney is a bonus !!.

@@keithburford8589 Mine has just arrived and I really like it. First Impressions ... Love the colour & the case shape. The finishing, bezel and wearability are all very good indeed. Lume is better than I expected. Slight downsides...it looks a bit "slab-sided" but still wears very well. Also, as per the store's photos, there's a slight colour mismatch between the lume on the hands and the dial but it's less noticeable IRL. Some nice to haves would be an NH38 & an on-the-fly adjustment clasp but I guess you can't have everything at this price!! It'll be in my next haul video if you're interested. I'm planning to upload this before the end of the sale, all being well.

@@TimeForAnotherWatch Noice !. The case side profile is to be expected I guess being as this is a couple of mm thicker than the OG , a re-worked case would have for sure bumped up the cost. To be honest having a ghost date has never bothered me , how many times has anyone pulled out the crown to set a date and 'whoops' into hacking mode !. Hurry up and film it as a single arrival ha ha . I've no idea when this sale ends but more importantly it would be nice to see it 'sortof ' in the flesh as opposed to Ali xs renders. Cheers for the update.

I can highly recommend the Addiesdive quartz diver, mine has a very high quality finish and is fantastically accurate. I also own an Addiesdive auto "Everest" homage. Hopefully the NH35 movement is more accurate than my NH36 version. My one is the most inconsistently inaccurate watch I have ever come across. It is a great shame as the look and finishing of the watch cannot be beaten.

I'm a bit sick of seeing too strong faux patina. This is why I liked most that last Watchdives watch with white markers.

I know what you mean Alex. I'm not a fan of fauxtina, once it gets to the point of being dark/orange. I've just received the Watchdives snow flake subby homage and IRL the fauxtina is within an acceptable tolerance for me i.e. not too dark. Also, for some reason, I prefer fauxtina on a blue watch than a black one. Very happy with it so far, just a few niggles. Coming to my next haul video soon, hopefully next weekend. The problème is the nh35. The case size is too big. Whith miyota is the case can be smaller.thin.what do tou think? Cadisen us it and the watch i have has 12 thin. Excuse fot my english.

I received that San Martin SN0118 a few days ago, it is very nice. I got the green/brown color on the rubber strap, I do regret the rubber strap because it sort of cheapens the watch and will be purchasing a mesh strap for it.

6:30 there☝🏻, exactly there! This watch (orange) was in my cart ready for purchase on the previous sale- yet when I examined the photos closely- I saw that very annoying and quite visible gap😳 between the indices and the chapter ring. Why???🤷🏼‍♂️ For me personally, it is a dealbreaker. It would drive me nuts🤪

Hmm... maybe get both the orange and the blue San Martins and swap the dials between them.... The colors are nice but they're a bit too out there for me with the orange/blue combo so unifying the color scheme on them would be perfect.

I ordered the last San Martin you show on 1st June, it’s still not been dispatched. They told me there’s not enough stock and they’re making more. I purchased within the first few hours of the last sale so not sure how true that is.

Hello friend, in my location the price still shows as $188.94 on the rubber strap, as per the screenshot from Aliexpress that appeared in the video. This is due to drop to $185 on Monday in the sale and there will be a discount code for $25 off this, to bring the price down to $160. There's a link to the discount codes in the video description. Irrespective of price the Watchdives over the Addies. Attempting a 'vintage' style subby in a Maxi case and a ceramic bezel just doesn't cut the mustard, sorry Addiesdive.

To be fair, they did use a matte ceramic bezel but I know what you mean, it should have been an aluminium bezel and a vintage style case, I guess they were trying to keep costs down by using an existing case. Thanks for watching 👍👍
