I looked at this, and was like "Are you just gonna do a top 5 video for every wave now?" and you know what, that sounds like a pretty good idea actually

The Rocka and Stormer combo pack brings back my memories. I live in South Korea, and I received a 3.0 combo pack for my birthday in 2011. Unfortunately, it's now disassembled and is in a box with parts written down to make another model. Now I'm in college, so I'm not playing with Lego myself, but I've subscribed to your channel to see creative designs. Thank you for making great content.

Bulk 3.0 was my VERY FIRST hero factory set, and Stringer was my second! (the 3.0 version) so ye! Happy to see he's number five, gonna see what the reasons for that are now

Oh dang that was a huge nostalgia ride! Except hero recon team set, I have stories from childhood of EVERY set here! 2011 was my year with hero factory, especially wave 3.

Great ranking! In 2011 I got my first Hero Factory Set and my favorite hero, Nex 3.0, and man witch doctor is really insane

I'd absolutely get Bulk 3.0, a Recon Hero, Scorpio, Witch Doctor and Nex 2.0, those would be perfect

I can remember the EXACT time when i got the bulk 3.0 version. Before i was eagerly waiting for stringer, although unfortunately he wasn’t in the shelves. So instead i bought bulk, returned home and OHH MANN, he was COOL.

Dude, you talk about having Stringer on your shelf and posing him and all that, I LITERALLY have him on my windowsill, on one knee, claw hand on the ground, looking up at my latest and greatest MOC (still yet to send it to the submission email though (I think I'll take a picture of Stringer looking up at it though, just to show what I was talking about))

I feel like Drilldozer is slept on. He’s a great set and a great parts pack. He’s so weird and uses techniques where I don’t know why they were never used again. He’s very asymmetrical and scrappy, he has a really good exclusive chest piece that was never used again and i still don’t know why, he has a unique arm design that can double as a butterfly joint, and even smaller things like his shoulder cannon being attached weirdly, so it’s almost a scorpion tail thing. He’s just one of my favorite sets ngl.

Wow Evo 2.0 along with surge 1.0 and stringer 1.0 were some of my first sets. I was obsessed with hero factory and collected as many of them as I could. Thx for the vid

Man, 2011 was like the new frontier for us: we were exploring brand new ways for building and moccing ofc. It was wild! The Savage Planet was great. Waspix is still my favourite medium set from the entire HF line. I got two Rocka XL and boy were they useful! Then Witch Doctor? What more can I say, it was great.

I remember seeing Evo 2.0 as a 1st grader back in 2011 and it sparked my childhood with Hero Factory :) Good old days

2011 was a great year for LEGO Star Wars because Clone Wars was going strong Season 4 was the peak of the show with Battle Lines being the Season's subtitle, Mon Kala, Umbara, Obi-Wan went undercover, and Darth Maul was returning, but in LEGO, we were just starting to get sets based off of Seasons 2 and 3, getting characters we hadn't gotten figures for, and it was great. There were also a number of rehashes that I never bothered to pick up, so I'm just not going to talk about them. Before I start the list, I do have to give an honorable mention to 10221 Super Star Destroyer because I don't own it, wanted it really bad because it is my favorite ship in all of Star Wars, but it just didn't happen. It was only on shelves for a little over 3 years unlike the 5 that 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer was, so I was expecting a bit more time, but also as I would amass my money, other cool sets would come out that I just had to have, so I had to pick between the very big set or a bunch of smaller sets that would really give me a bit more value in terms of play and display than simply just display. Of the sets I do own that didn't make the list, I have to point out 7930 Bounty Hunter Assault Gunship because Bounty Hunters is a rad Season 2 episode and seeing the ship return in Season 3 for a brief second was also cool, but it's really just about the minifigs in the set. It's got a cool function of swiveling the engines into position, but anyone that got this set got it for Embo, Sugi, and Aurra Sing. If you don't care about keeping sets together, it's not a bad Dark Green parts pack either. 7964 Republic Frigate is also worth mentioning, it has more features, but I just don't remember them because this set is permanently crashed in a big battle scene, so it's really only worth mentioning that it's similar to 2007's version from Phantom Menace, but looks like the ones from Ambush, Jedi Crash, and other example episodes that featured a Frigate. The figs are what really make it because Yoda is the only repeat. Quinlan Vos, Eeth Koth, Commander Wolffe, and a Wolfpack Trooper are included, so yeah, I had to get it and probably paid more than I needed. And while I do not own it, 7931 T-6 Jedi Shuttle was/is on my wanted list, but it was because the ship is just that cool in Clone Wars. The only real reason to get it now is because I don't have Shaak Ti. If I had gotten this set, I may not have gotten 75362 Ahsoka Tano's T-6 Jedi Shuttle, which is superior is almost every way aside from fitting characters in the cockpit. Alright so here we go. 5. 7597 Sith Nightsister Speeder It was honestly pretty tough picking who would be in this last spot because I'll be honest, this set is fairly niche compared to other Clone Wars sets, it's not even featured much in the show, but it's replicated wonderfully, there's a neat feature where you can separate the set into three parts, with two speeders being separate from the big engine, it has 6 printed parts, and also a few with stickers, but like many sets this year, the figs are what made it. Season 3 Anakin, Season 3 Asajj Ventress, and Savage Opress. It was a must have for the time, and you still can't get two of these characters in this anywhere else. Now as for Ventress, it is the design used at the start of the Nightsisters trilogy, but I think I may have gone for her stealth outfit after joining, but that's only with the hindsight of 2014 giving us her proper 2D Clone Wars design, which this outfit was designed after. But the real standout is Savage Opress. With the new Horn piece for Zabraks, you can really make Savage look like Savage, but even better, his hockey armor can be removed to reveal a shirtless version of him, just like the episode Monster! It's a shame we never got any other Nightsisters or Mother Talzin from Clone Wars in Minifig form, but you can totally recreate that episode with the removal of just two pieces, then adding them back, and you also get his enchanted blade in addition to his lightsaber. So now that's Monster and Witches of the Mist you can replicate if you have Count Dooku. And if you think that's impossible... "The task is only impossible because you have deemed it so!" 4. 7869 Battle for Geonosis One of the breakout arcs in Clone Wars is Season 2's Second Battle of Genosis, but the weird thing about this is that while Luminara on a BARC Speeder and Rex was also in that Arc, this set is more reminiscent of the Ryloth Arc from Season 1 with the Proton Canon droid. I find it funny that droids can control other droids, but that's not important, the point is, we finally got one of these guys, using wonderful new pistons for the time in the legs, and it looks spectacular. 3. 7868 Mace WIndu's Jedi Starfighter This was the last of the good Starfighters in my opinion... Before the Dark Times... Before the Bubble... Anyway, what makes this set cool is that it takes from Ahsoka's and is a combo with Separatist Forces. Two STAPs and a Speeder bike, and an couple of exclusive figures, too, that being R8-B7 (should have been Dark Pruple, not sure why he's Dark Blue) and TX-20, our only Tactical Droid ever. Sadly, there are quite a few stickers, but I'm no slouch with them, so it's not a problem, and they really do make the set for the separatist colors on that bike, and for the patterns on Mace Windu's Starfighter. It really is the Separatist forces that make up the set though because they help populate your forces. TX-20 looks great in an AAT, and adding more STAPs to face off against your AT-TE crawling up a wall is very much appreciated. 2. 7956 Ewok Attack So the one outlier this year from all the Clone Wars that I got is this. If there's one thing in contention for all my love in Star Wars above Clone Wars, it's Ewoks. Adopting the same name and general premise of 2002's 7139, it's both a rehash and not because there's no glider, or big catapult, but we get a very well built Ewok fort, so it's refreshing to see more of a location build, and this set is absolutely jam packed with features! A Standard Swoop Bike is included for the Imperial Scout, and it's pretty much the nice redesign from 2009, blah blah blah, who cares, I still like the ones from 1999 and 2002 better. No, the tree fortress is where it's at because it's wonderfully designed and makes a great addition to an Endor setup, but then it's packed with features. This Scout Trooper can be tortured in so many ways. Logray and Tokkat, the two Ewoks in this set, can spear him or shoot him with an arrow with their accessories, catapult rocks at him from above, drop two logs on him, shoot a knot in the tree that's actually a flick-fire missile at him, and there's a beam running through the whole for to either closeline this guy, or just completely knock him out head on. If you thought Ewoks were cute and cuddly, well they are, but you would be completely wrong! These guys are bloodthirsty killers. And not only that, the fort can also open up for one of them to hide away inside, and if it's Tokkat, that means Logray's out in the open to use his magic on that Imperial Scout, too. Ewok Attack? Indeed they do! DENGAR EWOKS! 1.7913 Clone Trooper Battle Pack Apparently this one is quite divisive because of the two Bomb Squad troopers, but I got three of this set because we got clones with markings on them like in the show! Horn Company from Grievous Intrigue, the 212th's Bomb Squad from Blue Shadow Virus (which gave us Nuvo Vindi YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YES YEAH YEAH YES), and an ARF Trooper of Lightning Squad from Liberty on Ryloth. This set also gave us the best rendition of a BARC Speeder as far as I'm concerned. It was so good that it was reused in 7869 Battle for Geonosis with a dark red color swap, and then it was never used again. Is it 1:1 perfect? No, but it is within a reasonable scale to minifigures, and it's way better than the twice as large version they've been using since 2013. But it really is the figures that make the set. I've got two Bomb Sqaud guys disabling bombs under the Turbo Tank from the year before, an ARF Trooper rides the AT-RT from that set, too, and in front, I have Gree following Luminara into battle on their Barc Speeders like in Legacy of Terror. In another scene, 4 Bomb Squad guys help fill out the Republic Attack Gunship with Cody and Obi-Wan, and in another large scale battle, I've replaced the two clones for the Walker from the 2009 Clone Battle Pack with ARF Troopers, and that scene also includes Eeth Koth, so my Horn Company guys have a General to follow into battle, it's great. This set was so good that I had to get 3 copies to make the best use of the armies that were lacking in my displays without having just a bunch of plain white Clones, and it's a great Battle Pack. Wow, what a bunch of nonsense I've just spouted out there... XD

Definitely rocka 3.0 and xl, stormer 2.0, that scorpion character from the 3.0 wave, and finally witch doctor, because why the hell not he’s is amazing, I couldn’t get him when he was out because I was like 0 years old (and no that’s not a joke, I was born in 2011)

the first series of hero factory really put me off and thats kinda what got me out of lego. i am really impressed with the ccbs kinda wish i had gotten into that. would still absolutely love to create my own custom lego set (bionicle, ccbs, system, etc.) and have it sent in custom box, maybe they'll do something similar again. here's hoping. thanks for the upload.

I just got Furno 2.0 but Evo 2.0 is cool to. Fire Lord is next on my list to buy. I wish I had bought more when I was younger and they had just come out.

Waspix feels like a weird mix of Bitil and Gorast, and I'll be blunt, I think it's way better than both.

Oh damn, that's a hard one to choose. 5. EVO 2.0 I never owned a 2.0 figure but the color scheme on this guy... Besides, when I watched the HF movie he quickly became my favorite character, so it's an easy pick. 4. Rocka XL. I found this set right next to the Witch doctor but at that time I only could buy one, so I've missed the opportunity. It was already discontinued at the time, so the fact that I just found one was phenomenal. 3. Fire Lord. I mean look at the guy. 2. Stormer + Rocka. Stormer 3.0 was my first ever HF and I absolutely loved it. Yes, even the mask. The only problem I had with it was that it had just one hand and the weapon piece broke after only a while. Still a great set that brings up warm memories. And Rocka... I got Rocka, Nex and Furno at the same time but that gold and the fact that Rocka was taller than the other guys made me like it more that the other two. Never liked it's mask tho. Besided, I just loved the uncovered head piece from 2.0 and 3.0 so it wasn't a big deal for me. 1. Doctor Witch at the time when I bought this set I was going through some very tough times and this set helped me to calm down while I was building it. So I have a special place in my heart for it. Then I obviously disassembled it for mocks and the challenging part was to get all the pieces together and assemble it once again. I lost one of the masks however.

This might be a controversial opinion, but I’d say my favorite Hero Factory set of 2011 would have to be Jetbug. I don’t know why, as a kid I always loved his design but never had a chance to pick him up while he was in stores (I would have been 5/6 by the time he was in stores). It wouldn’t be until late 2019 when I managed to find a sealed set for what I considered a decent price, and Jetbug sort of ended up being my first Lego pickup of the new decade! Probably not everyone’s first choice when it comes to other’s favorite HF set of 2011, and objectively doesn’t even compete with sets like Witch Doctor or Fire Lord, but Jetbug is a set/character I have a lot of nostalgia for, and I’m glad to have him in my (admittedly small) Hero Factory collection!

Wave 1 heroes was dissatisfying so I only wound up getting 2.0 Breez about the same time as the 3.0 heroes, I did get all the villains though, and they taught me to give the heroes a chance. I remember buying Witch Doctor before my birthday in the rain. Or it might've been christmas. What a wonderful set. Top 5 for this year: 1. Witch Doctor 2. Rocka XL 3. Rawjaw 4. Waspix 5. Drilldozer

Magma gear is arent seem ugly to me, its really looking cool, but you can add some more ball joints and add armors to them to close opened places, it will very very very cool

Witch Doctor is great ,but I couldn't waste the second mask on the staff .I took it and made a pre-witch doctor with it and gave Witch Doctor a second hand .

Fire lord toy so cool is too bad the show don't do more of his character like his back story with stormer would be interesting

Fire Lord was big, but awkwardly designed, imho. Those legs, almost no transition to the narrow hips, those feet and the torso, come on, i like HF, got a lot of sets, but i changed all this at once. Same with Witch Doctor, got him twice for the least, great hipmechanics, but those knees had to go immedeately.

Funny story about the witch doctor set i think it was 2012 christmas and i was with my relatives they're opening their presents and then i saw the thing that catch my eye it was the witch doctor set and i was like is this for me because im the only kid in the room then reality hits it was for my uncle to this day ive been trying to find the witch doctor set online most of them is expansive and the one my uncle have is still in his house that a few walks away from where i live and its dusty all those time its stuck in one pose

My favourite set from hero factory is definitely Furno with the bike it was a super super rare set and I was literally only 6 years old back then, it was just so cool my favourite toy of all time and my biggest regret is that I never had surge with helicopters, I just hate when Lego make a fire guy the main character and replace him with a green and gold rookie coughing Lloyd and rocka

Of sets I regret not being able to convince my ma to get me, the titans are the ones I wish I had the most. Takanuva, Axon, Mata Nui, Witch Doctor, etc. I still kick myself for picking the scopio over Mata Nui.

I'm sad you lumped 2.0 and 3.0 together. I would have loved a seperate video for each.

So, if I would choose sets from this year, I have two definite from both waves. From Wave 2, Fire Lord because I wanted this set back in a day. And I've had a chance to have because in Poland, there was an offer to buy him with two heroes for low price. Unfortunately, the offer was expired. So, for this complete set, I would choose Fire Lord, Stormer and Furno. The mains. For wave 3, Witch Doctor and Bulk. Again, I wanted Witch Doctor but I didn't get it. And why Bulk? Well, I love wolves and wolves actually describes my mental health very well So, Bulk 3.0 as my momento.

What are you talking about, magmagear looks metal af. I think i even prefer the original for its balance of grey and frequent specks of colour. Metal and scrappy and firey like a living trash incinerator.

Stormer mask is awesome, just not fit at all for the character and the body... it kinda screams " i'm a gladiator ", but stormer really isn't one
