I dont play RDO, so i will change it a bit, putting the Black Arabian instead of the turkoman and leaving at #1 the (i know is not a pure black color) Andalusian Dark Bay... I had to get a $200+ bounty in order to get mine in Chap 2, but if there was a pure black Variant i will get a bigger bounty in all states...
Welcome back! My favorite black horse is the black Arabian. I know people dislike their size and temperament, but I personally love them for it, especially now that I've learnt how to properly handle the Arabians and pick up on when they are about to bolt.
First of all: WELCOME BACK! You have been missed. Your videos give me life! And I loved this one! I must say that I'm so curious about all horses you own in Online and Story mode. Recently restarted a play through JUST so I could keep my Raven Black Shire from start to finish for Arthur. It’s the perfect horse for him in my opinion.
Black Raven Shire was my #1. He took me through everything in my first story playthrough. A wonderful horse that personally, I thought, matched Arthur PERFECTLY. Yes, not the greatest stats and he's no Buel (Sorry I can't english or remember how to spell his name) but one of my favorite horses. At first the horse starts with a nasty temperament from what Arthur has said in game, but obviously when you bond with your horses, you become much closer to them and learn them more. My Raven Black was named Thor and like the Norse god, carried me into battle and not once did he run.

Great to see some Red Dead content! I love your picks, I had never considered the Black Overo, but you're right, it works great as a villainous steed. One pick you didn't include which I absolutely think deserves consideration is the Black Kladruber, the Trader mount. It's a great alternative to the Shire in Online, it's a huge shadow.
I almost put the black kladruber in 5th actually! Unfortunately the standardbred won the tie so I had to settle with just adding a clip of the kladruber. Handsome fella he is 🧐
Love the Turkoman. I named mine Neowise, since the stripe on his face reminded me of a comet on first look Would love to see a top 5 white/grey horses, or top 5 paints/patterns someday!
Black Raven shire is definitely my top favorite canon Arthur horse. Hard to get away during some of the chase scenes but it's just great for Arthur's lore like you said 😂 I LOVE the black overo mustang, always. Mine is one of my top favorites. Honestly though, my top top fave is~ the black Kentucky Saddler. It's so huge and beautiful, I got the one during the first mission online and didn't want to let it go. So unfair that the stamina and health are so low because it could literally be THE best horse

The Raven Blackshire is my favorite and it’s probably my number one on my second favorite horse in red dead redemption two he’s big majestic and a bad ass looking horse But way back in the day I used to be a fan of the solid black American stoner brand but not anymore
Love your rdr2 videos. Im doing another playthrough of the game and I got the male reverse black dapple thoroughbred in the mission with Hosea. I named him Black Diamond. Easily my favourite horse in the game, along with the Dark Bay Turkoman.
Oh you' re still making videos of rdr2 nice. I recently started my second playthrough, but this time I'm fully experiencing the game (hunting, collecting. exploring). I also decided that I'm most certainly won't buy any horses from stables. I find myself having a lot stronger bond with wild horses than those from the market (sometimes i stole couple of really rare one's. Your videos definitely helped me out and made me interested into those rdr2 creatures :) My top so far are (not in order and I'm not a big fan of pure black or white horses) American Standard Buckskin, Andalusian Perlino (might be my favourite breed), Blue Roan Nokota and 4th yet to come :D

The Raven Black Shire I thought was the most unique. I kept it my 2nd playthrough, and while he wasnt my main horse, I have to say I became impressed with him. And he was the only horse where if you ride to a stable, the owner will sometimes comment on how he doesnt see too many horses like that.
The black Standardbred is my favourite horse i terms of looks after the silver MFT, period. It hurts that the horses on RDO were never added to Story tho...
I missed the Online Exclusive Black Kladruber, it's an AMAZING horse and one of my favorites, it's a huge horse, very brave and has amazing Health and Stamina

I ended up using the Andalusian with a pearl coat. It’s kind of this rider in black but with a white-ish war horse. Also has lvl 8 stamina and 10 health.
Your horse list was the best one I remember when RDR2 was released. Glad to see an update. Now only if Rockstar would update the stables. We want more stable space!!

First and the Raven. No question. The two best looking fellas. The Raven win my sympathy at the very first second. And when he tamed well, absolutely cooperative and soo asshole. 😂😂 always galloping through other horses and enemies, stomp them into the ground. The black on the first place is randomly catch my eyes, and tame him instantly. Not even tried to run away. And he soo fast. I realy like that. That dumbass run into firefights without thinking. 😂
You can get the daple black thoroughbred without the special edition using the Run! Run! Run! Cheat to keep the horse you spawn on cheats you have to complete the mission Angelo bronte man of honor once You done with the mission the game will autosave. Option 2.Saint Denis stable glitch posible only in version 1.00 of the game will met You spawn random horses if You get Lucky You can get the daple black thoroughbred, a turkoman or an Arabian to not lose honor feed the horse to lvl 1bond and then Whistler for it and ride the horse. Also sometimes You can spawn Johns horse that Got eaten by wolves the horse is a Thoroughbred but if You manage to get it to stables it says ita an Arabian sadly you cant keep Johns horse Also the horse has a saddle with Johns Initials
i started playing rdr2 in DEC 2023. after my first playthrough i started Online but it was off-putting . Server connection was unreliable, hackers, game hanging on crucial moments and most of all everything was too expensive and money making was a very slow process. i got frustrated so i stopped pretty soon. everytime i see a veteran uploading anything about online i feel the urge to go back online but i get irritated quickly. I hope prices go down significantly

i'd personally change the n1 horse for the exclusive online purple tinted black chestnut thoroughbred, the tovero mustang isn't that pretty imo and all other horses on the list look better lmao
Hey Daneliecasts! Hope you don’t mind if I ask you a question🙈 What is the bravest horse you can get for everything (gunfight, hunting, galloping etc) in the Story Mode? Also do you know what I can do because my Missouri Fox Trotter gets always agitated/scared while running/galloping with it and is often also nervous without a reason. Currently Bonding-Level 3. is there a way to get him more calm? Also I Play on PC. Sorry for my bad English 😐
No worries, your English is great ♥️ Personal suggestions for story mode would be either a Mustang, Andalusian or Ardennes! I'd throw in the Turkoman as well but they're a bit excitable if you know what I mean. As for your fox trotter, may I know a few things about it because I might know what is happening. Do you tend to ride it at maximum speed for long distances or frequently change directions while galloping? Petting is the fastest way to calm down an agitated horse 🐎

I thought it is ok because he is race/work breed. Directions I only change to follow the route I ride. I pet everytime I notice that he get nervous. Also some other question: is there a way how you can max the bonding very fast? Or does your video about Bonding in RDO also work in story mode?
@@Lukas-mk8so Of the four suggested horses, you can decide based on your preference of stats or looks. I personally love the Andalusian's appearance the most ♥️ For the fox trotter, yeah that sounds like the issue. In rdr2, the developers consider it "bad riding" which is why all horses become agitated after their stamina drops below 50%. The only solutions for this is petting to regain stamina and equipment that helps reduce stamina drop, so that you can gallop for longer without hitting 50%. The food bonding method doesn't work for story mode so the next best way to max bonding is leading. You're already at level 3 so it shouldn't take long to reach 4. Best of luck to you!

Just ride them like a normal person instead of spurring them nonstop like an arse/spaz. Damn. You already have the fastest horse there is. What more do you want?
