I feel they've never ridden an ATV. At the end of the day here is what you need to know about ATV's 1) A 300cc 2x4 can do most anything the typical rider will do, trail riding, yard/small farm work and 80kmh 2) anything over a 570 is your testosterone speaking. Similar to buying a Civic vs a Charger. Know what you "want". If you just want to enjoy the outdoors, a 750+ is not necessary but mud, speed (100-135kmh), crazy trails, mountains, these are all considerations for a bigger engine. 3)if you plan on bringing the wife along, just buy a 2-Up. They cost more but also adds stability and comfort for both. 4)Polaris, Can-Am,Honda,Arctic Cat, all have proprietary quick connect systems and OEM add-ons. This makes adding/removing storage and task specific accessories fast and easy..and they look good too. This is always important to me as taking off universal stuff installed with ubolts is a huge PITA. The last thing I want in hunting season and then spring is taking 1hr to add/remove a trail riding trunk. 5) if all you want is a good reliable low maintenance ATV, Suzuki, Yamaha, and Arctic Cat are great choices in that order. Change the oils and ride. Polaris and Can-Am have up to 19 grease points that need grease often and they aren't always easy to access. They also rule the big V-twin classes and with power comes maintenance. Just the same as a street car vs a drag strip muscle car. Bottom line, know what you want to do and decide based on the most demanding task.
I’ll still take the Suzuki King Quad for Utility, tried and true longevity and updated chassis plus way thicker shafts from factory. Had an old Grizzly 660 and it let me down one too many times and sold it.
Just been owning cfmoto cforce 550, 850xc and now bought my 1000 overland best ATV for me I drive around 20k between all three and equipment you get for money and 2 year full guarantee it’s no brainer!!!
For the price, the Polaris 570 is the best bang for buck I believe. Going to buy one this year. I own and 1996 500 sportsman, it's still a blast to ride, comparing to my 2006 Arctic cat 400cc. The stability of the Polaris is what I enjoyed the most, railing corners hard, very stable machine. Would love a 1000cc, but not paying 10-13 grand for a new machine. Right now after doing my research, for me, the Polaris 570 is a clear winner. (Price, power, handling, options ect.)
Oh man how I've missed hitting the trails and mud , I just picked up a polaris trailboss 350L that hadn't been touched in 4 years and just got it dialed in and am ready to shred on this antique beast
I'll review for you, they are a POS these days. It would be more reliable to buy a 15yr old Honda than a brand new one. Additionally, being known for reliability is more from being used on farms and older riders. They have smaller engines and dont get pushed to the limits. They have just as many issues if you buy one for trail riding as others such as a Can-Am. The difference being competition looks better, performs better, and has twice the power.

The Cam-Am outlander and renagade are both better than any polaris. The renagade is king and the outlander is a close second. Polaris used to be good but the quality has been progressively getting worse. My outlander 450 is a great machine.
