Mac, I’m an older man and I’ve been to Phuket 3 times for lengthy stays and I have not seen anything like which you talk about. I have left Phuket and gone onto Bangkok which I find much more grimy. I get the usual yelling out offering this and that from the usual suspects but just keep walking. Your advice is good and I think you do a good service with your vlogs. I hope the indestructible, I’m never gonna die 18 - 30 your olds watch your content. Peace.

Thailand vlogs like this can often be a bit cringe, but your channel offers some good tips for newcomers. People can form their own opinions about Koh Tao. As a former resident, I can say living there was one of the best periods of my life and holds some of my fondest memories. Yes, there have been suspicious murders there, and common sense is essential. However, there are also unexplained, suspicious murders elsewhere in Thailand. I could list many, but it’s not worth it. I never had any issues there, and I certainly poked that bear a few times. I would encourage anyone to experience it for themselves before forming negative opinions of the place.
Actually we were snorkeling at koh tao more or less two weeks ago, and we saw police boat and a dead body in a water near shark bay (propably male tourist). Guide didn't want to go near, which I understand but anyway it made us feel little scared.
@@mactvtravel I agree. But a lot of people going there because you can get scuba diving licence for around 10k baht (+-250 pounds). Anyway it is a great place but a little bit scary.
