What I understand extra virgin olive oil is not suitable for cooking, but for salad dressing or direct consume

Extra virgin olive oil is good for cooking, but not frying because of the low smoking point. And if you have really good quality extra virgin olive oil, you would prefer using it for salad or direct consume. Because you want to fully enjoy the flavour of the oil, the nutrients and it can be quite pricey. 😊
