Pedals are nice, but I'd just like to comment on your playing. Those are some mad skills (not that we didn't see that before). So hard but fluid and melodic at the same time, with impeccable technique. Loving it.

check your implications and definitions on sellout. a sellout is where you follow a sertain thing, genre or craze in order to create money. i dont see any of that going on.

Pedals that aren't the miku are more popular in commercial music and since the Miku isn't used at all in commercial music he is by definition selling out by not using one.

Since Strymon did release BigSky, Mobius and Timeline (the big brother midi version of the BlueSky, Dig and Ola), I would love them to also release a big brother midi version of the Sunset and Riverside...

I love the lofi tip using the wah. This is why I need to devote a good portion of my practice time to experiment. I focus too much on learning songs. Maybe not enough time creating soundscapes like you do very well Rabea.

Hi Bea , I've just ordered one off those Octo pedals based on this vid alone 😬hope it sounds good . Can't wait to get it , all there pedals on the demos sound really cool. Love your playing in your demos ,but for me you really shine when you play all the tasty stuff . It always keeps me guessing what your gonna play next and to think you play a lot off heavier material also. As always a great demo from a great musician and a very humble guy , regards Bruce

Hey Bea. Have you checked out the Earthquaker Tentacle? Same principle as the Octo puss, but it's not passive. From what I gather, it's less ring mod-esque and more of a clean octave up.

the MOST important pedals I have , 3 key ones, is the Pedal Isolated Power Supply (MXR), 6 Loop programmable "switcher" and my noise gate those are the key ones totally for me.

I regard octave pedals as toys. They're fun to play with, but how many times do you use them in a song? Just my opinion, I know lots of players love them.

I just saw your high gain pedal shootout. Great video! I've been waiting for someone to do that. I love the sounds you got out of of the Strymon Riverside. What's your opinion about the Sunset vs the Riverside? Is one better than the other for high gain sounds?

If I was building a small versityle board. Jhs/boss angry driver Strymon volante Joyo R-09 visions multi effect Good reverb, I like my holy grail neo Fulltone 69 mk2. Would be very versitile. Strymon and joyo visions are both stereo so run through effects loop. 69 fuzz and angry driver through front of both amps. Reverb most likely through front but move to loop if needed. That simple board would be expensive but do so much.

wondering if the new boss pedals that are like the strymon offer that same range of control, Because I stuck between the Boss Rv-500 reverb, Boss DD-500 Digital Delay, Boss MD-500 Modulation pedals and their strymon counterparts. Would like to see you do a versus pro vs con especially when it comes to what I guess is call the tail where the effects fades off slowly after you switch to another preset. Or something to that effect. I plan to have a what would be similar to the bradshaw switching systems Now would be known as the Custom Audio Electronics switching systems. which has the better options and better midi controllability.

Gary Keller although the boss pedals can do more, the quality of sound and tone you get from the strymons is unmatched, so I'd advise the strymons, they are an investment for life!

Find a store that lets you play both. I'm not sure if the diff carries well over iPhone speakers, but the strymon is just the most beautiful tone you'll get. It's hard to express how beautiful it sounds. That being said, the boss gets close for not as much money. Personally, I'm down to spend the extra and just melt every time I play

I have to ask, do you always use drop D tuning? More specifically, is it just a preference? Talking of preferences, I'm into my Boss pedals, Boss DD-7, Boss RV-6, Boss Chorus Ensemble, an original 80's Boss Heavy Metal Pedal 2 (yes I bought it new at the time and it still works a treat) and my Dunlop Crybaby.

thank you dude ! wich strings and gauge on da strat please ????? ;) and by the way 3 of my fav in drive are still the crimson drive earth q d, the SL drive xotic, and the goldbender form benrod with the custom muf from costalab could be my all time fav maybe with an hi gain one like the iron horse........endless man ;) i usede to have a used wampler sovereign ans mine never sounds like on you tube......i sold it.....maybe a mistake..never know.....
