Bakso is also considered an Indonesian speciality. It is made from beef, mixed with flour. Sometimes they put vermicelli with it, sometimes they use noodles.

if you guys are coming to indonesia and searchin for good foods, come to makassar. lots of good food, so good that they try to replicate it in other cities
We have so many type of nasi goreng tho. Almost each region has its own take on nasi goreng. Nasi goreng kambing is one of my favorites too. Actually for almost every dish you can find different style of it due to the many ethnicities in indonesia. And to make it even better, almost every region has their signature dish as well. For example there are over 100 types of sate, same for soto, sambal etc. But there is only one ayam woku which is from manado. And there is only one ayam betutu which is from bali etc.
Rendang has a slightly spicy and salty taste, you have to eat it with more rice and the taste will be perfect.. 😆😆😆 And Indonesia has many types of bananas, there are several types of bananas which are very tasty when served fried.. Thank you and have a nice day guys.. I hope you both can enjoy your relaxing time in Indonesia.. 😄😄
oo you miss to try Soto Betawi - its beef soup with coconut milk broth, its a famous soup originated from Jakarta (other famous name is Betawi), or Nasi Uduk (similiar with Nasi Lemak). Actually Nasi Goreng had a few type, and the Nasi Goreng Kambing (got more influence from middle east style such Nasi Kebuli ) and different with the usual Nasi Goreng. leanne look like Claire from Rhet and Claire channel , since they also from south Africa. Please continue and Enjoy My Wonderful Indonesia ❤
9:15 well, some of malay tribe actually exiled to south africa..i think in south africa you have something called melayu cape or Kaapse meleiers right? It was actually Indonesian that being exiled by the dutch back in colonial time..
In Indonesia there is a lot of banana variation, but the best banana for fried banana and banana filling bread is called "Pisang Tanduk" which is very long, even longer than typical banana (2 times longer more or less) and not the best to be eaten directly
That bubur ayam & nasi goreng are delicious😊 i ussually add kecap manis for bubur ayam (no egg). So in south africa banana also called pisang? thats a new fact for me. From this video, not just getting hungry😁 but also got a lesson🙂...thx guys for sharing🙂
Usually the tourists only visit the island of Bali and the island of Java (the capital city of Jakarta). and rarely visit the island of Sumatra, the island of Borneo, the island of Sulawesi, the island of Papua, etc
FYI.. According to CNN, The most delicious foof in the world: #1 : Beef Rendang #2 : Nasi Goreng Really happy watching you guys enjoying those foods in a day 😊
Please come to second bigtown in indonesia next surabaya.. you my find the best nasi goreng and bakmi goreng surabaya, soto ayam or soto madura is so good, and last you must eat rujak cingur as the most wanted food , lontong balap, lontong kupang ( shell soup ), gado gado, rawon is second best beef soup ever after beef rendang, sate ayam madura is greatest sate, and more.. please come to surabaya. It just 8 hour by train or 1 hour by indonesian flight... Nice to you both explore my awesome country.. thanks
Hi guys.. I like your videos. Just want to tell you something, each cities in Indonesia has their own signature local food. For example : in Jakarta maybe soto betawi, nasi uduk. In Semarang maybe lumpia. In Surabaya maybe rawon. We have so many varieties of food. Im from Semarang, if you have time, come visit Semarang, I will take you guys to enjoy the food here.
We can imagine all of these dishes sound amazing😁😁 We tried Soto Betawi in our previous video😁Be sure ti check it out ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Oi4oNnRUwYQ.html
if u guys had a chance to visit bandung, makesure u guys try seblak and cilok, its popular snack in bandung and all area in java, probably u should try it. Anwys I like all of u'r videos. Enjoy u'r time 🥂
nice comment on every single dish 👍 I havent tried bubur ayam with egg yolk, but that's definitely tasty. rendang + rice only is a great pair for tasting the best rendang. as for nasi goreng kambing, kebon sirih is a bit overrated for me, I'd prefer nasi goreng kambing in some "sate solo" food stall which has more balanced taste of spicy and sweetness.
If you are stressed, come to Indonesia, it is guaranteed that your stress will go away, not only eating delicious food, the people are also friendly🤗🤗🤗
As an Indonesian, I feel that I take my food for granted whenever I see foreigners eating Indonesian food. 😂 Btw, if you're still in Jakarta, try Soto Betawi, it's authentic Jakarta food, I think Soto Betawi is the most underrated delicious Indonesian food, because most foreigners only know rendang, fried rice, and satay. Enjoy your trip!
Hey ManusiaKerdus, we definitely tried Soto Batawi, you can check out our video here 😁👉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Oi4oNnRUwYQ.html
Rendang dan teh talua adalah mknanan dan mnuman khas org padang sunatra barat, dan rendang tekah di nobatkan sbgai makanan terenak 'number one' di dunia😁😂😂😂
Fyi: the chips r not prawn cracker, it is called kripik emping (it Made from kind of nut (melinjo). I am suggest you to not eat that a lot, cuz it contain natural glutamate, my parent always tell me that may cause a disease called "asam urat". Keripik= it Made directly (fresh cut) from a plant for example banana crisp, emping, taro crisp, etc Kerupuk= it not Made directly from plant (it flour based + extra stuff), ex prawn cracker Made from flour + shrimp.
The word Piesang as we use it in South Africa meaning banana was actually inculcated into Afrikaans from the Indonesian/Malaysian slaves when they were brought to the Cape in the 1700's.
I'm not agree with you. as for me, this is actually the best way to enjoy and compare the best rendang at restaurant or authentic level minang food stall. only rendang and rice. 👍 "fully loaded" nasi padang is only the best when you are really hungry and order it for takeout.
@@thebuddymoon The standard way to eat in that resto is (it called Nasi Padang), you come sit, they bring you rice and dishes, you just pay what you eat. Just don't touch the dish you don't want because if you pinched it to taste you pay, you can eat the jackfruit veggies and sambal it's free. If you want to try another meal like fish, meat, you pay that certain dish it usually serves in one single small dish. Or next time you come you can order just say NASI CAMPUR with Rendang or with chicken or whatever you like, they will serve you 1 plate complete with sambal, chicken, souces etc and pay just that.
Menurut gw masakan di Rumah Makan Padang "Pagi Sore" lebih enak daripada Sederhana. Dan gw lebih sering di Pagi Sore Jl. Raya Kalimalang, Duren Sawit. Yaa.. Bopet Mini BenHil juga Badabest men...
Hey Yanuarto, we loved Martabak so much that we made and entire video on it. 😁Be sure to check it out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eAZOcWPDZoo.html and be sure to also checkout our Jakarta Street food challenge here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Oi4oNnRUwYQ.html
In Indonesia we actually have 2 sides of bubur eaters, one call bubur diaduk the other one bubur tidak diaduk. Diaduk means you mix it all inside the bowl and eat it, the other side is the one who take little this and that then eat it without mixing it first cause for them it look gross if it mixed up. And you guys both represented each side lol
