Can you make a video to learn us how exactly search for easy keywords to rank on Google using a Ahef , SEM rush and Kwfinder. Or as you exactly do. Your way. Thank you for the information you shared for us
At the office, our editor asked us to use INK for All for a month. I’ve only been using it for a short time at this point. But this one, free app has totally made my writing process way more efficient by making suggestions on helping optimize my posts for better results in search engines. We are total INK for All converts.
Really helpful post, Pat! I've just spent an entire morning working through some of your videos; that's not something I usually do! Consider it a huge compliment.
Keywords everywhere is amazing! Just stated using that for my RU-vid channel research. This was a lot to take in I think I'm gonna have to watch this a couple more times. As always thank you Pat for the deeply valuable information!
All your videos are proving to be so useful and they're releasing at such coincidental timing! Exactly when I need them or when I'm thinking about that specific topic. Nice 😁
WOW - you knocked that right out of the ballpark Pat. Brilliant info and insight. Totally going to use the tools I dont use already and improve how relevant my content is to my audience. Actually, I stopped the video to add the Chrome extension for Keywords everywhere immediately - LOL 😀 Loved the video 👌👌

Thanks for the video man! At the moment I'm just using the Google search suggestions (in the search bar and also at the bottom of the results) for ideas and Google Search Console for monitoring keywords. I'm mostly building Swedish websites, but I'm gonna give buzzsumo a go for an international project I'm about to get started with. Thanks again!

KWFinder.com looks very clear and useful at same time... I am not writing any content or any other video/audio but I do have Keywords Everywhere installed and it is giving a little idea about whatever I am learning or trying to find out about demand at present! Thanks Pat..
I have to agree with this list. All of these tools are very helpful. I would like to throw out one other tool I think you may have missed, and that is Keyword Heaven's longtail finder.
I enjoyed the part when you stumbled across your ranking for "I appreciate you" in the Search Console, made me laugh with joy. No one appreciates their audience more than you, Pat.
There are number of free keyword research tools, such as Google Keyword Planner [you can use it for free within the PPC campaign, yet you don’t need to set a budget for it], KWFinder, Uber Suggest, SEMRush, Serp Stat etc. Google keyword planner [as well as other similar tools] is extremely limited in terms of the phrases they suggest. They focus mainly on the most popular keywords, which is not always the best solution for you. There's no point for you to target a keyword that attracts 10k monthly searches, if it's also used by millions of your competitors - so your chance of getting to Google page one is very low, or close to "zero". What I recommend for the store owners to do is to search for their keywords beyond the analysis tools. Explore the discussion groups in your niche, see suggested phrases on Amazon, RU-vid, Reddit etc. This way you can discover what phrases people really use when talking about your products. You can find more organic keywords that your competitors might miss. That also gives you another advantage - if you use the keyword suggested by the Amazon search, you can be sure that this phrase will be used by someone looking to make a purchase - as they were looking for it on Amazon! So they searched for a specific product, wanting to buy it. This kind of keyword [transactional] can bring you the most relevant traffic, most likely to convert. This is much better than the general and hyper-competitive keywords suggested by the keyword tools. Pat, I love Keywords everywhere too. I use it a lot for the Keyword Golden Ratio, especially getting ideas in the suggested area at the bottom of the SERPs. Big fan- I got started after finding the SPI podcast in 2013. Cheers!
Different keyword research tools like TubeBuddy, keyword everywhere and keyword tool show me different competition of a specific keyword: businessman. So which one is the right one?
Thank u for this information. What’s your opinion on tube buddy and vid iq for researching high search low competition. Good idea bad idea? Also what numbers do u go for. Do you have numbers you don’t go above or below regarding low competition and search volume. Love to hear others opinions on this. Thanku
Hello Pat, I've obtained my API key and the Keywords Everywhere has appeared on the upper-right as shown in the video. However, when I do a keyword search, the number of searches does not appear. My laptop is under two years old, so I don't think it's my laptop or browser. Any idea why the search number does not appear? Otherwise it's a helpful and easy to follow video. Thank-you.
Hi Pat great stuff as always. There is a tool for keyword research, back link checking and competitive analysis called AHREFS that Neil Patel and Brian Dean are recommending but it's not free just a free 7 days trial
One more comment: I guess I'm still confused as to how to take these tools and actually choose the keyword I want to use. Do I only write about keywords that aren't competitive and nothing else? I'd really love to see how you use these in action to create a post. Or maybe dissect how you used these in a post you already created.
I have a question related to this video: what are your thoughts on the reboot of Magic School Bus? As good as the original, better? My kiddos seem to like it, although I do miss the Malcolm Jamal Warner cameos at the end of each episode. But hey, beggars can't be choosers. Thanks, bro!
Why do you search for keywords on Amazon or Etsy when the results you get for global searches are taken from Google and not from those sites? I don't understand that part. Why search it on Etsy.com and not directly on Google.
Thanks, Pat. Another very helpful video. I also recommend checking out lsigraph.com/ for "latent semantic indexing" keyword ideas. Also, Ubersuggest (neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/) as someone else mentioned here. The free Moz tool looks similar (moz.com/explorer). Seems like many of these tools are pulling in the Google AdWords KW Planner data, but with more granularity on the search volume vs. what many of us see in the AdWords tool. So for people who don't have an AdWords account, these free options are really useful.
