Pan, is there something you want to tell us? And yes, I copy-pasted this from somebody who actually bothered to write it down.
Did he hit every single point right down to the Jesus christ, mcr, petty ass older brother, hot topic, Jack skellington wearing nightmare of a teen version of you, too, eh? How fucking WILD was that molonogue. I am terrified of how accurate it was.
I just watched Repo Man for the first time. In the back of my mind, though I couldn't remember the exact quote, I remembered Pan saying something vaguely about an overly edgy and angsty teen. As I was watching, I had no idea what Pan meant. I thought Infected was kinda angsty, but not that bad. Then the Seventeen song started up. I immediently knew what he was talking about and then remembered his tangent on every bit of mid 2000's edgy teen girl stereotypes. Loved the film though, I'd love to give this another rewatch sometime.
That teen girl description was fucking hilarious. I want a dvd of just that half minute clip of you talking. I'd pay like $5. Also, damn, someone else remembers Mike Mozart? That shit classic.

so underfist could of had a series of episodes? dang, I really wish the dark age of cartoons never happened now, but then again, at least they didn't tear it apart like the "reboots" of todays cn (except samurai jack, ending could of been better but overall I am glad they actually gave it something to end with)
+Jackattack681 honestly what he said made my list for the top 10 astute observations of all time even the part about the xbox controller with the analog stick i was like damn..... yup.

Underfist I LOVED and I wanted to see more! I actually remember seeing the concept art of the characters in the Billy and Mandy game on Wii and I was like, "Where was this from?" and then when Underfist came on, I was so surprised!
That part where you just go on and on about what is essentially Emily Vasquez brought back so many middle and high school memories I swear I felt like for a moment if I turned on my TV I'd see Danny Phantom on Nickelodeon, and then me proceeding to pine over Sam (who in retrospect was more of a hippie than a goth, but 14 year old me didn't care, if someone wore lots of black they were either goth or emo in my mind during that time...). Repo and Devil's Carnival are two things I've been meaning to check out. I mean shit the Devil's Carnival movies alone have Emilie Autumn, Hannah Minx (yes that woman on RU-vid who taught Japanese while showing off lots of cleavage), Jimmy Urine and his wife Chantal Claret, this is something that already sounds right up my alley.
Holy FUCK that clip of old RU-vid o-o I never realized how cluttered it used to look. Yea there are a lot of things I miss from old RU-vid, but I suppose in the end, we can't say it hasn't improved.
I freaking love _"Repo - the Genetic Opera",_ the music in Repo is freaking awesome. Likewise the Devils Carnival, really well made! Also, kudos for the goth teen-angst one-cut description that Pan pulled off. It was spot on! I don't even wanna know how many times he tried until it worked out! X'D
RAYRICEGIVINGDSPDAWORK3 AKA TONY MONTANA Shanks lost to Fish Maybe. It's hard to tell when he's being serious sometimes. Her name may or may not be Emily.
It's so nice to see someone talk about the Devil's Carnival movies when talking about Repo! People usually just ignore it, but I remember waiting for Alleluia to come out after seeing the first one. What an incredibly talented cast.
I loved the Underfist special. That is one of my favorite memories from being a kid. And I can confirm that it's almost impossible to find anywhere. Unfortunately.
I'm surprised Scary Godmother didn't make the list. Either Pan is going to talk about it in a future video, or it was just too popular, since it got a sequel.
+SuperColdChaos Everyone seems to HATE Scary Godmother, which I can kinda understand in some cases, but I loved it! It's one of the few specials/movies that pops into my head whenever I think of Halloween (along with 6teen: Dude of the Living Dead and the Nightmare Before Christmas) It's so full of Halloween atmosphere and style (even if the CG maaaaay have not been the greatest in it's time)
+SuperColdChaos I don't know if you see the podcast he put up but he did talked about them on his first Halloween podcast episode. I remember him saying he hates how the background characters are just reuse over and over again but love the book images I think.
Steve Buscemi needs to do more voice work for animation. He's got a lot of range, and I feel like his live action stuff limits him. Personal opinion, though.
Really cool to see the mdotstrange on this list. He's a really great guy: very inspirational! Speaking of which, thanks for all your great cartoon reviews and lists. Your MegasXLR review was a big reason I made my live action teaser trailer for the show (it reminded me of why I loved it so much).
Underfist is SO deserving of its own series. Not only would they have a great dynamic, there's still plenty of places where the Billy & Mandy universe could go as far as ideas for plots and monsters/villains.
i still have a dvd copy of "we are the strange." such an underrated movie. i remember mindless self indulgence telling people to check it out and buy it, which i did, and i was extremely excited to see it, and thought it was so damn great. but it did have extremely slow parts that made me doubt if it was gunna be a good movie or not. but it too also influence me to be diverse with cartooning style. this has literally been the first time i've heard anyone mention this movie since it's release around 2008. good pick, pan.
Interesting video. The Underfist spin off had potential but then Cartoon Network went through their live action phase. Those were dark times. Whoa! number 5 looks strange but a good strange. Well can't wait to see what's next. Oh and another thing, don't watch Where the Dead go to Die on this Halloween! Animat and Mr.Enter have already watched it and they will never be the same again. (Evil laugh in the distant)
Monster House did actually scare me as a kid. There were a lot of dumb things, mainly in kids shows, that scared me as a kid, although this one I'm not too ashamed about. The idea of (the house's) shadow that could stretch across into my room and then actually kill me was pretty scary for a kid.
Omfg. "We are the Strange" I remember watching this a long time ago on youtube! I can't believe I found it finally. Thank you so much for having this on the list! Holy moly. I would of never found this again.
Underfist was such a great special. I so wish it was a show! The humor blew my mind at the time it was made. Sadly, I have misplaced my copy of the movie I made (using a DVD player and a Tivo no less), so I guess I'll just have to watch it pirated. It's such a shame I accidentally let the original broadcast get deleted by my Tivo. I should've paid more attention. Also, I was thinking of Igor not too long ago and how that bunny's antics were not appropriate for kids in retrospect.
+edsandsonicatolympic Also, that Simpsons Burger King commercial legitimately put me in the mood for some modern Burger King french fries ... for some reason.
HOLY CRAP!!! I had forgot about IGOR all these years before this video, and I don't know why because I'm remembering so many good memories of that film in theaters :D.
+Aka Kon Actually....I never watched it until this week because Boomerang gratefully has been airing it this week. Saw it for the first time on Saturday....had to rewatch it again. I am so mad I missed it when it originally came out. Seeing Irwin so powerful gives me chills.
I have watched repo so many times i know most the lyrics to most the songs. Its my favorite movie of all time. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone tbh.
Last week my one friend walked in to school watching Repo on her tablet. I saw a guy getting disemboweled and then the bell rang to I couldn't see much more but it was a great way to start the day.
