In this video I list the top 5 upgrades best upgrades for the Road Glide.
After owning both the Road Glide and Street Glide, both different styles I can safely say these upgrades are the best base modifications for this model.
Number 1 - Rear suspension
The best upgrade for the Road Glide (& all touring models) is rear suspension!
Before the bike leaves the showroom, if you have the cash, upgrade the suspension, there's plenty out there!
Number 2 - Bars
The Second best upgrade you can do is a decent set of handlebars. With thousands of different styles to choose from, there's something out there to make your riding experience better.
Number 3 - Lighting
Lighting is an important part of you motorcycle, in the case of the Road Glide, there's plenty of room for improvement!
Number 4 - Performance Upgrades
Generally the first thing owners upgrade is the exhaust but if you can wait, upgrade the others on the list and then go for a stage 2 or more, you won't regret it!
Number 5 - Seat
To improve your rider triangle and work nicely with your bar setup, a seat is a must , especially if you spend a lot of time on the bike.
All the upgrades above are based on very personal tastes, there are plenty of routes to follow, most importantly do what you like but don't be afraid to seek advice from those in the know!
