It takes roughly $20.00 to make every splitter into a man size splitter. Get it up where you can work with it and not break your back or knees to use it. JUNK!!!
I just purchased the Harbor Freight electric splitter after seeing many great reviews. But I’d bet every single one of these splitters are made at the same plant in China. They simply put slightly different handles/wheels for different companies that sell them. The motor, beam, ram, and wedge are identical on all brands.
@6:14 anywhere "nature" takes you...? What is that suppose to mean exactly? As if nature is always with me or guiding me where to go..? God is a better describing word instead of nature. Proverbs 16.9 (KJV) A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.
Teacher: "write a 5000 word essay on how 5 splitters are completely identical but try to make them sound different. They're all: 15Amp, 10" round splitters, stand on end with 7" wheels, like comparing apples and apples
Best part was when the narrator says, and it has hard plastic wheels instead of rubber so it easily goes from the garage to the yard or whatever dumb shit these videos are always pushing in favor of a green movement that isn't practical yet.
Been using the Boss ES7T20 for three years now. Best $400 I ever spent. It ain't the fastest, but I'm not in a big hurry, and the 7-ton rating means it can handle bigger rounds. And the one-handed operation is a huge plus--no logs exploding in your face.
I have a 5 ton electric splitter that requires both hands to operate the buttons required to make it run. You end up over the log being split which can lead to dental work. The one handed lever allows you to stand clear of the log being split.
