When I went to my home country to get married, I stayed with my spouse at my uncle's house for a month after the wedding. Does that count as living together? We only stayed together for a month. After that, I came back to my house in the USA, and my spouse went back to her family's house. Should I put lived together or Never lived together and can you explain why?

I got married in a country where cousin marriage is legal. I am a USC residing in USA in a State where cousin marriage is illegal. I applied i-130 for my spouse. During interview, she mentioned that we are cousins. The officer did not take her interview as our marriage is not valid according to the State Law where I am currently residing. Now USCIS asked me to provide a proof that my marriage is legal. Please guide which documentation should be provided to prove that my marriage is legal.

For the question have you ever file a petition for this relative, what if the child's case this time the husband is filing the petition and the wife filed 10 years ago. what should the husband write?

They could have made it easier by asking the petitioner how many beneficiaries are you applying for? What is each beneficiary name? What is your relationship to them? That's it. No need to file one for each person.

9 months ago my wife and I filed the i130 (cr1) online. It all went well and our status changed to “ ACTICE REVIEWING” just 4 days after submission. It was my understanding that evidence of intent to return to the US is enough to prove domicile. For example, US bank account, US mailing address, updating vehicle registration, voting record, drivers license, also having a storage unit in the US and regular trips to the US. I have been living in Turkey for a year and have all of these. I also have been attending a US university online. I will likely be back in the US for work before my husband has an interview. Will I have a problem with domicile?

Domicile requirement. I am a US citizen but I have been living with my wife in Thailand for the past year at her family’s home. I am a US citizen. My brother is under 21 and I have applied for my mother and him. After doing more research I found out that I can not file for him if he is under 21 and I am guessing it will be denied. However, under his application, section 5, it did ask if I am applying for other family members and I did mention my mother. Once my mother is here, can she apply for him? Hi, I've been searching with regards to a greencard holder petitioned a spouse and a minor child together on the I-130 and it was already approved, document qualified, paid the visa fees for the spouse and child, and now only waiting for interview at NVC. Due to long delay of interview schedules the petitioner already applied for citizenship. The petitioner now will become a US citizen soon . Will the minor child be dropped on the petition if the petitioner became a citizen before the spouse and child got interviewed at NVC? If so, should the petitioner file a separate I-130 while not yet a citizen or wait to become a citizen before filing a separate I-130 for the minor child (6years old). A reply is much appreciated.
