1st off I love your channel!! I have been watching every video since I bought my 18 scatpack in October! I'll definitely agree with this list.. I did 1: tinted windows, side markers, headlight and taillights 2: muffler delete 3: tazer 4: oil catch can... next diablo tune

Bro those floor board leds are easy as pie to install.. you just need some led panels and a kit that comes with it .. I’ll make a RU-vid video on it cause I know no one has done it that I know of
'mods'? I was waiting for some hardware mods ;) like exhaust, air intake, throttle body, tuner etc... I have a R/T Scatpack Challenger 392 with a 6 speed Tremec.
If the video was about that I would’ve labeled it performance mods. I do have videos on the PCM swap process as well as tuning the car, if you’re interested in those check them out.
This past weekend I debadged the 392 Hemi on my Destroyer Gray SP, I'm on the fence with the Charger and R/T...but will be getting rid of the DODGE for when I put my Luxe film on...I'm still contemplating paint or tint on my side markers. Still curious with the changes on the '19s if we can get any of that on ours, so I've not got the Tazer yet, ofc I've only had my car 2months haha Gorgeous car man!
Kenneth Gibbons thanks man. The destroyer grey is definitely an awesome color! The taser is well worth the money if you don’t plan on upgrading when the 2019’s hit the lot.
Project 392 I'm not "upgrading", I'm just wondering if we can get the goodies from the '19, via PCM flash or what have you...Definitely planning on picking up a Tazer though! Do you keep yours connected?
Project 392 how did you paint the side markers, if I decide to. I have a small bottle of touch up destroyer gray, for touch up prior to getting the paint protection film installed.
Kenneth Gibbons I took them to a body shop. They matched the paint and painted them. They were painting a rear bumper for me so they did it for free. I did this on my 2016 as well and it was 55 bucks to have them painted. I took them off and put them back on myself tho.
Mike Jones I have the tazer, talk about it in this video actually. Lol. I have the red caliper paint already ready to go , And some reflective white brembo stickers. ;)
Stop signs and traffic signal lights are also good tools for this. If they have disregarded one of these signs/lights and are going to "T bone" you then these marker lights are not going to help you out. Also i think you are incorrect on this. The marker lights on cars are just additional safety lights to locate the front and rear of the vehicle and serve no purpose in preventing a side impact collision.

@@KnightsGarage I just got a ticket for cool blue headlights tho - but I believe the cop is picking at me - there are blue headlights up and down the highway all night but he chose to single me out - I am in Clarke County - about 120 miles north of Mobile
@@christopherbrock8913 doesn’t sound like he’s picking on you. It sounds like you’re just the one that got pulled over. State law requires forward, facing lights to be white , yellow/amber. With yellow and Amber supposed to be marker or turn signals. There’s also a specific state law regarding red or blue lights on your vehicle.

I'd swap out 275s if you didn't get the Daytona package personally but, Uh, did you ever use the tazer option to roll down the windows from the key fob? Speaking of key fobs do you keep yours in a Faraday box or pouch?
I had the dynamics package that came with 275’s. I never used the taser for that function. When it’s hot outside I want to remote start the car and let the air conditioner cool it down not roll down the windows. Lol. I never carried my fobs in anything.

On the road I keep a pouch in my car and if I go somewhere a bit sketchy or unknown I'll keep my fob in that pouch on me. Apparently people are stealing the 6.4 and 6.2s quite a bit in the states. Detroit area is a hot spot. Less so here where I'm at but still....I worked relentlessly for my vehicle so...
Marcus Ralph-Lauren a catch can catches motor oil that normally goes from the PCV valve to the intake. It catches the motor oil and allows the crankcase gases to still enter the intake to be burned off for emissions. Go to UPR Products.com and type in the search bar CATCH CAN.
Depends if you care about a name. The scat with the dynamics package is a steering wheel and adaptive struts away from being an SRT. The SRT does have the SRT drive modes turned on from the factory but you can get a Tazer and turn all those functions on yourself as well as have other cool features with it. The SRT will be about 10k or more over what the scat will cost you for basically the same car. Same engine - horsepower, same trans, same car. It's really up to you but i would recommend a scat if you want to save a few bucks. As far as year i would go for the 2017 because you get the uconnect refresh and apple carplay with out all the tuning issues you get with the 2018's. That being said, if you don't care anything about carplay or the dynamics package then a 2015/2016 are still great!
Do you happen to remember what bulb type is needed for the interior 5k LED's? I can't seem to find a straight answer from multiple sites saying what bulb type is needed.
mrnine324 the 168 or the 194 bulb will work. Go to Diode Dynamics website and enter in your vehicle information and it will list the bulbs available for your car. Some of the hiring chargers with a sunroof the map lights are built-in LEDs and can’t be changed
I was looking up information on these scatpacks and they say the 2019 might be the 6.4. Bored out to 7.0 ..... 426 hemi. I'm going to wait for that one. And it will have the suspension modes. And a lot more bonuses. More power and many more upgrades. I'm definitely waiting to get the 2019

Have not really kept up with that but i can say between ECO and normal there isn't that much difference, but between sport and ECO for me it has been about 4 mpg more in ECO versus sport. My 75 mile trip to work driving 60 - 70 MPH average i got 23 MPG in sport, and 27.5 in ECO.
Project 392 wow not bad, but I’d be doing more city miles. Maybe 16-20 miles in a day. So for a normal week, I’m hearing I’d be spending $40 every week to fill up? Sounds pretty accurate?
Well ECO starts you off in 2nd gear and shifts smoother and sooner, and kicks in 4 cyl mode more often. People say you get more compared to advertised city MPG. I don't really pay that much attention in the city tho. I have a good mix of city and hwy driving and average about 25 mpg doing that. I dont always drive in ECO when normal driving though.
L J yes it does do some things for the regular R/T. They have a list of functions for each vehicle they support on their website. I would look there to be certain of which functions will work for you.
Charles Potts no. The scatpack and the r/t are different. You can go to Zautomotive’s website and they have a list of all the functions it does on the different vehicles that they support.
Mr Scowl Face I don’t really have a problem with either of those things. I have ceramic tint so and the center is suede so they don’t get hot really and they don’t get dirty easy in my opinion.
City police know that law where I m from&tags lights is another,I've never checked any lights.I know when they stop &let me know.I can see brakes out being a problem &one head light
@@leosanders3784 While most around here know about the one headlight and taillight laws they aren't even allowed to stop cars for lighting violations in most cases. On the level of traffic violations not having the marker lights is at the bottom of the list. I am a State Trooper and I can tell you this for sure. As with any modifications you do you should look into the local and state laws and speak to a few law enforcement officers in your area about whether or not they enforce it.
