If you have the money these are definitely great areas in Cincinnati. I drove through them growing up and they are nice. It's just too expensive.

Thanks for sharing your experiences! There are lots of nice places in the area and seeing more and more recently as areas add attractions, clean-up their downtowns, and make use of parts of town that had previously been run down. I've got a video coming about some of these areas so stayed tuned!.

Thise are not neighborhood of cincinnati. They are there own cities. Neighborhoods of Cincinnati would be Oakley,high park, Mt Washington. Over the Rhine, Clifton, price hill, college hill

You are correct. However, many people looking to move here, are looking in the entire Cincinnati area which includes all the outlying suburbs. But thank you for making the distinction.

It's still Cincinnati. I grew up there and I could use my City address or Cincinnati when mailing letters. And not everything in Cincinnati is the downtown area that you mentioned.

I was down in the Brewery District today showing property. It isn't often we go down there to show, but it's a cool area. I really like the views from Prospect Hill.

Indian Hill is amazing! Gorgeous homes on lovely lots, highest rated school district, and lowest taxes in the area. Price is certainly a deterrent for your average buyer, so those that are not already in the district, will many times settle for something in a nearby area like Madeira, or Sycamore.

I grew up in Cincy (East Price Hill), and I remember when Jerry Springer was the Mayor, and Blue ash used to have the nickname "Blue Ash Trash".

Times have changed, right??? Blue Ash is now one of the HOTTEST suburbs with one of the best school districts and, well, we all know what happened to Jerry Springer.

Anderson is beautiful. It is definitely in the top 7 or 8, just didn’t quite make the top 5. I love showing homes down there and driving my Tesla on all the twisty roads. Also, close to the river and closer to downtown than many areas. There’s a golf course community there that has amazing views. We will feature it one of these days…

you pay big time to live in nice locations. Taxes in Hamilton County are ridiculous so look further out if you don't mind the commute. Many neighborhoods are overrated and overpriced.....and forget the west side unless you're looking for a bargain; don't care about schools, crime, and traffic.

Fairfield Township is a little more quiet and off the beaten path--a little. Bridgewater Falls area has shopping and restaurants and thankfully, right off Rt 129. Similar to Liberty Township (Lakota Schools), but Fairfield Township is in Fairfield Schools.

We lived on river road right on the river close to the old Amtrak station the house is gone now we went to school at Whittier elementary ,taft high then I went into the army that was 1987 under Ronald Reagan.........bob

Ok, maybe not everything is Amazing. But in the top 5 neighborhoods, it is pretty good. Out of these neighborhoods, there are a couple that have not as great neighborhoods that adjoin them. Honestly, a lot of Cincinnati is still pretty ok. however, It really just depends what you are used to.

I live in Covedale, it's almost all housing, most of it is middle to upper middle class with a section by the Western Hill Country Club that really nice and way out of my price range.@@LivinginCincinnatiOhio

We agree! There are more than 5 great neighborhoods in the area but we had to limit the list. We did use Niche.com as a guide but yes, there are a lot of amazing areas. What are your favorites?
