Nice job on your pony, I got a 2004 40th anniversary edition really cheap, 250,000 miles on it and still running no smoking, knocks or valve noise. same color and top as yours, but minor body work and a new top are needed, after seeing your car I have new found motivation to fix it on up. I am a senior citizen on disability , It will take time but my mustang is going to look as close as possible to yours. Great job and video.
Just got my first new edge a few months ago. First thing I did was tint the windows and cut the factory springs. Then cut the mufflers off lol. Cold air intake bbk 78mm plenum longtube headers sct x4 and a nitrous express wet kit. Just put some 10.5” deep dish 5 spoke rims from American muscle on the back with some nitto 555 315/30/17 tires. Mach chin spoiler and grill delete. Currently have a set of coil overs sitting in the garage waiting to go on along with a Kenne bell 2.1 b&m 2800rpm stall and a performance automatic shift kit. Plan on doing a cobra front bumper and 2.5” cowl hood next then repaint the whole car grabber blue. My car is also a convertible think that grabber blue should look good with the black top. Car is currently mineral gray. Plan is to just run the Kenne bell on low boost right now while I put some forged rods in a teksid block then swap in the teksid block and crank the boost up

I went with that grill too. Black billet grill blacked out all my badges even the ford badge. Tent the window black the mustang on rear bumper, black trunk led, black the spoiler, black the hood scoop, black the wheels, and smoked front/rear lights. All on laser red paint with black soft top.
I just recently got myself a 2000 mustang gt soft top as well and have been planning on modding it once i have it paid off, and honestly this is the exact look i was wanting to go for and it helps to get a sense of what i need to get/do to have that same look. Thanks for the vid!
Looks great. Put a new canvas top on mine last year and wow, what an improvement. I've got similar wheels, ZR 18" staggered, in silver. Keep up the good work.
How do you keep it clean? I've literally had to replace the black top on my '00 vert twice, and the rear window twice. I swear if it rains one time and any amount of dust just straight up embeds itself permanently. The top will go from a beautiful deep black to a black and light brown spotted top.

Me personally since my sn95 is my daily and it’s what I want I’m planning rims and tires, headlights (looking at some halo headlights) and the final thing will be a sound system.

I have a 03 convertible and had my top replaced recently. If anyone can upgrade to the 03 04 cobra material do it as they are cloth. I went cloth top on mine and glad I did.

Would i be stupid to make modifications to a v6?😅 I got a 2004 mustang but it’s the v6. Only has 98k miles. I want to do modifications on it because i don’t got the money to get a v8 one as im still in highschool.
I know it's not my car, but I've just never been a fan of the tires behind the fenders. Fenders sitting right to 1/2" to 1/4" above the tire is where it's at with the tire lined up the fender or close enough to where it doesn't rub.
