This guy Nik Nocturnal you mentioned can't believe how many subscribers has talking about mostly deathcore - is it his personality or deathcore is still that big?

Little bit of both plus his talent and utility as a guitar player. He's been doing this for many years so he's built a big following and the bands he covers are huge (BMTH, Lorna, Architects etc.) but lots of people cover those bands. Nik has a fun personality and he is a really good guitarist. So he's makes videos about what those bands do and actually plays the guitar parts. So he's really the perfect content creator. An entertaining expert. I really wish I had more time so I could incorporate more guitar into my content as well. I really think my band analysis would be so much better with guitar examples too. But your boy has four jobs so I have to work with the time I have.

MIRAR is scary as hell. Thanks for that one. I also loved TORTURERS LOBBY-Deadened Nerves (blakdethrash)this week. Favorite album art I've seen for next week: LES CHANTS DU HASARD; ALCEST; GREENLEAF; COBENTRICE. Recent Metal Saxophone Sightings: AETHERIA CONSCIENTA; WE BROKE THE WEATHER; ZOLFO; REZN; and the new SEAR BLISS(symphblak) has a full time trombonist. Other strong metal records this week I noticed were CRYPT SERMON(nwothmdoom) and FLAGMAN (primus-core). Beertime...
