Based on my research buying one of these could be the dumbest thing you ever do. The entire engine essentially needs to be removed from the car at 100k miles to replace every hose, every plastic fitting, rod bearings, turbo seals, engine seals etc. it is just a giant maintenance turd. This is why a 90k mile 2013 M5 sold for 21k on BaT a few months ago.

Definitely a lot of maintenance. But at 21k for an M5 that hopefully leaves some cash in the pocket to take care of those maintenance needs and modifications. If you buy an M5 with over 60k miles just better have 10k sat to the side for maintenance.

IMO you should never have a turbo charged car without a beater daily but id spend 21k and leave my m5 then give it to bmw tbh

@@Weinermann For sure! Having a beater daily is a great investment if you’re a car guy or have anything boosted. Saved me many times haha.
