For me, the best saturators are the ones with very few controls & subtle differences when you bypass. I just want a little bit of harmonics added, preferably the even harmonics. I'm still trying to find the exact plugin to use. The Fabfilter Saturn 2 has too many options. I feel the same way about the Fabfilter Pro-L2. Too much to think about & too many ways to ruin the mix... or waste a lot of time trying to dial in (and remember) everything. HOWEVER, I swear by the Fabfilter Pro-Q3. That's my favorite EQ plugin.

Nice, next time I do a heavy SFX and music mix for TV I’m gonna try saturation on my mix bus. Usually only apply a touch on key SFX to bring them out, but you got me thinking now……

Do you have a Saturation Sauce Template? I need this and list of plug ins needed. y'all recorded this on the new ua volt im thinking of getting that for a new set up this as a template will go well with that.
