You can drag and drop your crates in whatever order you want. Just uncheck protect library.

@@DjReeceVarnell I understand stand that thanks but not the same once keep creating create its going to be hard to manage. I tried it. Plus serato once you restart the program sometimes reorders your creates. Only way to do it cleanly is native within the app.

@@EvanBlack11 you must have a something wrong in your serato folder, my crates never move once I place them. Doing it alphabetically may not work for everybody so that's probably why they do it like that. it's more versatile. Go to the support page and follow the "creating a new database V2 file". It takes a couple minutes and might solve your crate problem. Thats the file that remembers everything.

Easiest way i have found is to have all the music you use with Serato to DJ with in the same place/HDD. Especially if you have a couple of installs of Serato on 2 Machines, put you Music onto 1 External HDD so when you switch machines you just plug said HDD into it. What i cannot figure out though is 'some' changes to Serato itself i make are not mirrored on the other machine, like for example i set up some ''smart crates'' on machine A when i fire up machine B with said HDD attached containing the Music those smart crates i made on A are not on B so you end up have to remake them. Kind of a small thing but it still bugs me :(

Create a smart crate with a date range. I create a new "latest tracks" smart crate every month with the last 30 days as the date range and every 3 months I merge them into a larger smart cate with the date range. It'l a lil work, but it keeps new music active
