I have a few Yeezys so I think I’m a little qualified to say this, I know this is late advice, but as long as you have a use for the kicks, you like them (so check out in person in advance to make sure they look as good as they do online or research it), and it’s disposable income you prolly won’t regret it. For me I bought them all at decent prices, and the only one I even kinda regret are the “glows”, they got dirty quickly but I only wear them at night so it doesn’t matter too much. Just don’t over do it and make sure you really want it.

It's happened to me as well. Once at footlocker I got 2 left feet. And in another instance, i bought from Nike outlet a shoe with different shoe size. Lesson learned is, double check all purchases at cash out to avoid back tracking.
Damn straight! I tried it on at the outlet and it was so heavily discounted but still could not bring myself to pay for it. Way too uncomfortable. Wait.... It actually hurt like a bitch! He's so lucky he got 2 same sides.
I used to work at a nike outlet and what happened to you on the clots happens more often than you might think, the employees have to check everything shoe by shoe, box by box, and when there are big purchases, it's more responsable of the client, because there is a chance we miss something like that, so this was a human mistake by both parties, but you're the client, you're going to the outlets and employee stores to save some money, you should take your time so that when employees miss something like this, you are golden
I bought sum black swamps and didn't realize that they weren't the same model (one had updated insulation and thicker insole) of shoe until AFTER I wore em. Only when I went to clean and put em away did I notice it. Mind u I didn't wear em right away. I think I had em a few months before I wore em.
I feel you, when i go to convention like those ones you tend to get sucked in to buy stuff you don't need or pay hack of a price for stuff you find at the spur of the moment. I went to bikers convention once bought bunch of stuff that didn't fit my bike or just looked wrong. I learnt my lesson. But what the hack that's life. Cheers. Nice video again
As someone who also now has 2 kids I regret buying a lot of Lebron shoes from 8 to the 15’s. Even though he is my favorite b-ball player, at a certain point I had over 20 and barely wore them. I’m now older and my taste in shoes has changed and now prefer running shoes or cowboy boots to wear. I have many just sitting collecting dust with no plans on wearing them and all the plastic and basketball shoes aren’t very comfortable on day to day basis.
At first I was a bit nervous why the Clot 97’s were on your list, because I have those and I love them. But then I found out why, and now I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.
Its quite a narrow shoe and i can barely feel the cushioning on them, total waste of the 120 I payed for them, plus the fabric is a nightmare to wash as when i got them my friend trod and them and i still haven't been able to get the mud out, I also go out a lot and the fact these are not water proof is another big downside, I got a pair of the nike air 200s and I have been super happy with those though!
I buy sneakers cause I like them.. so there’s no regret .. but I do get disappointed on the sneakers that went on sale.. because I didn’t get a chance to wear them yet
Part of me regrets not buying the Travis Scott low's when they were in the high 5's/low 6's, but only because it was a missed opportunity to flip for nearly a grand or more. Even then, $600 felt like too much for what basically looks like a pair of old 90's Airwalks with a reverse swoosh on it.
Don't judge me... Joined the sneaker scene a month ago. Am very wealthy. For me, it's my whole AJ 1 highs and dunk lows collection. I've got literally every colorway which wasn't as easy as I thought it'll be. But, I'm too scared to wear em because I don't want to crease damage them. I brought the mid versions of them, crease protectors and, even doubled up on every pair so I could have a breaker pair for each 🤦♂️ I also have every Nike TNs (5 triple blacks=everyday shoes), 90s, some 97s, Yeezys (partnered w Adidas) and, AJ 4s, couple pairs of each AJ's and other sneakers I don't wear also. But, those I don't mind. AJ 1s are just so iconic to me and I've always wanted to rock a pair with a fit but have yet to place my feet in a pair. Triple black Nike TNs are my everydays. Am well stocked up on them.
Your situation with the element react pains me to hear lol: paying resale, and for the wrong size, and eventually very accessible for mad cheap. I love the element 87s though, a lot of the vibrant color ways are great Imo . Nice list 👍
@Taylor Lemoine i can't speak on the Kendrick Lamar collab, but yes the uppers on the 55 and 87 are pretty flimsy lol. the 55s that i have (black and white) actually annoy me a little bit because the tongue doesn't stay in place and kinda keeps folding upwards.. hard to explain. in other words, yes the upper can be thin as fuck lol

@Taylor Lemoine the only travis scott collab i like is the AM270, if i could get those for retail or sale i probably would lol, otherwise ill definitely never pay resale for any of them (or any other shoe for that matter). i try not to hate haha, but yeah the AJ4 oiler colorway was also a easy pass for me
Taylor Lemoine 😂 I’m pretty much on the same page w you on this one. Unfortunately the greed and superficial hype has taken over the sneaker culture, but what baffles my mind EVEN more are that there are people actually spending that kind of money (upwards 4+ figures) for a pair of basic shoes. Resell wouldn’t exist without the buyers, so as long as people are willing to overspend for clout/hype/investment/etc, things will continue to trend in this direction to the point where the history/og culture of it becomes eventually extinct :(

The sneakersI regret buying Nike sb nyjah 1, Nike kd 9 elite, Nike SB prod 9 elite. They fit tight, cushion was non-existent on them, the sizing for the prod and kd ran small. The KD I really gone half size up while prod I should gone a whole full size and half. Another I regret buying was adidas Superstar adv. It's the skate version I got the suede version and they got soggy after a week of use.
I wouldnt pay nine hundred dollars for any shoe, but I think getting hung up over the fact they arent official nike products is missing the point. They are custom made and its kinda dope that few people would be able to get that exact same shoe.

I had the same thing happen to me with a pair of Air Max 1 Curry's in the brown and white colorway. Got 2 left feet and ended up getting the Red Curry instead but man, sucked to get a good deal and have them sell out after I bought them too so I couldn't even replace them right. I also regret buying the Air Force 1 Foamposite cause that shoe was the shoe that made me realize 11 was a size too big for me. Worst part was I bought both shoes in the same day!
