Found a good hack for cleaning my Pampered Chef Bundt Pan. Very hot water soak and then rub off food with a clean dish rag. Worked great! Easy peasy!😊

How do you bake bread in the stoneware loaf pan? Can you do a video?

It's a bunch of hogwash about preheating the stone. I've been preheating my Pampered Chef stones for 25 years and put frozen stuff on them. It's the only way to get anything to brown on the bottom because it takes longer for the stone to heat up than most of the recommended cooking times. Love my Pampered Chef stones. (Have the small round, large round, large bar pan)

Love this! Also, let's remember to tell our customers not to leave a frozen pizza on the stone while the oven is preheating either - thermal shock that way too! ;)

Question. We have several of these and they have a nice dark seasoning. Recently, they have some sort of sticky residue that doesn't come off with scrubbing. It's almost like baked on grease or something on the inside of an oven. How do you get it off? I've seen one video that says to put in in an oven and turn on the self cleaning cycle, but that seems like it would be too hot. We don't want to use soap for obvious reasons. How do we get this sticky stuff off? Thank you.

just a suggestion, maybe while it is still hot, you can use a gentle scouring pad in sink full of hot water . I would not use self cleaning function- that usually heats up to and beyond 500 degrees. Do you know where it came from yet? Maybe from using cooking spray vs an oiled pastry brush or paper towel?

Can I place it in a preheated oven (350 F) with the food at room temperature?
@JenniferBristol
@JenniferBristol 7 месяцев назад
Yes, it's fine. Just make sure you use most of the surface area.

Most say the temperature change can weaken it. (Perhaps if the stoneware is slightly warmer & then put into a moderate temp oven to start, it might work.) I will ask a Pampered Chef person first. Most of the different opinions are over the pizza stone. If the oven is very hot it can cause thermal shock according to the PC people.

Funny I never got a scrapper with any of my pampered chef stoneware and I bought quite a few pieces. They never said how to clean them either this is when they very first came out and I just got rid of them. I could not give them away bc so many others had ,had the same problem. I just bought a old bowl at a yard sale but it is stuck with smelly rancid grease how do you clean that

Other videos say hot water, and the scraper. Another comment on here gives very good advice on how to clean it.

I purchase some of these used, and they didn't come with a scraper. What is a recommended "plan b"?
@jenniferspeers2453

i also bought some used. no scrapper. I will be buying a scrapper at either walmart, home depot etc. Lodge brand (cast iron) sells a 2 pack on amazon among other places too.

If I do not use any soap to clean it then isn't it going to be unhygienic? Thank you.
@MrJhchrist
@MrJhchrist 2 года назад
Lol, what are you baking that could possibly be unhygienic? You do realize that whatever tiny residue is left on dish will always be baked along with the next dish, right? It's not like you can cross contaminate with raw chicken or something, this thing comes out of a hot oven and goes back into a hot oven.

The heat is similar to an oven, not a grill or stovetop. Thanks for the idea.

My wife accidentally left her P.C. stone bar pan out over night, with baking powder in it, and a mouse decided to make "Buddhist sand art" in it..... (talk about being pissed). Is it ok to use some antibacterial soap on it or should it be thrown away? Thank you so much.
@vernusbuss7920

I would rinse (dumping water into toilet) with cool tap water. Then baking soda with a small amount of water thoroughly scrubbing & rinsing. Then a mild solution of water with Dawn antibacterial hand soap/dishwashing liquid (APPLE BLOSSOM SCENT) scrubbing with a good nylon bristle brush. Then carefully rinsing with warm water & more scrubbing and finally lots of warm water rinsing. Then dry thoroughly. The Antibacterial liquid should not leave a scent but another baking soda scrub and rinse can be done. I know they say no soap but I have been able to remove odors from plastic with this particular Dawn as the scent is mild and doesn’t stay if rinsed well and promptly. Lastly, if it isn’t enough, a 3% hydrogen peroxide spray is very reliable for removing odor & stain and can be rinsed off after 5-15 minutes with good results. After the pan has dried it can be re-seasoned with cooking a high fat food. (I know that this is after the fact but I hope you didn’t toss out your pan!)
