My two siblings and I were all LUCKY enough to have been born in Marietta; and we all were fortunate enough to be Employed at Lockheed for over 30 years each. In our opinions, It is the best place to live, IN THE ENTIRE USA!!!
Taxes are a bit higher in Cobb that's paulding for example and the schools in Paulding did not mandate masks on children like Cobb. Could you do a video in Paulding county? I heard Dallas and Acworth are nice.
Just checked the weather app on my phone, looks like Orlando currently has 38% humidity and atlanta has about 55%. I would have thought it was the other way around. 🤷♂️
@@AtlantaSuburbanLiving Yeah but that changes and is not the best way to tell. I have lived in Colorado and Orlando and Orlando sucks during the summer and sucks a little bit less in fall and spring. Just wondering if you get cold October ( true fall weather) and cold Thanksgiving? Springs still cool or does the heat kick in? Thanks
Gotcha, the temperature in October is usually around 70*. Thanksgiving is usually pretty cold. I would say it’s true fall weather, colder temps and leaves changing colors. Spring always seems to last longer than expected, doesn’t get super hot until about july.
Hey Daniella! I think you’re referring to the neighborhood off of lower Roswell rd, right? I think it’s a great neighborhood, and the crime is low. Not all parts of Atlanta have low crime rates, but most areas in Marietta are good. 👍😊
Yep, Marietta does require a yearly test of the vehicle to renew your registration, but we call it an emissions test and it’s usually about $10. And registration of your vehicle is $20 every year.
@@AtlantaSuburbanLiving Thank for answering my questions. . I currently live in Las Vegas NV but i was offered a job for Lockheed Martin . Vegas is going down hill fast and I feel it’s time to find a new spot . How far would u say you would have to drive to be outside tMerrietta city limits ? I’m originally from Washington State and grow up on a farm and I would like to purchase a house with an 1 acre . Is that possible ?
You’re very welcome, happy to help! I would say from the center of Marietta to the city limits is about 15-20 minutes. A little hard to find an acre within Marietta, but you can definitely find it just out side of Marietta. Give me a call or text anytime, I can take some video tours for you of some homes for sale so you can get a good idea of what’s available! 404-654-3712 😀
