Why is trailbraking called blending?

trail braking is when you jam the brakes hard and slowly release the pressure of the brake to avoid locking up, blending is a seperate action that comes after trail braking. for blending, right as you come off the brake, blend in a little bit of throttle. it reduces the time you spend coasting

@@griddrop I don't know about that. I think trailbraking is the whole process, I have seen several videos from pro drivers describing the whole process you just said as trailbraking.

i just notice a lot of people can trailbrake effectively but lose time coasting through corners, so even if they’re technically the same process it’s important to remember that blending throttle is important
