agree with you. Will be looking to tune mine soon. Bought the pedal commander but saw all the issues it had after around 9 months of use. could leave you stranded.@@jandelahoussaye9834
Hey Folks! If you want the mud flaps I’ll pick a comment on Sept 25th so folks have time to enter. Remember, you need to be a public subscriber so I can see you’re subscribed.
The great thing about the tacomas is that there is so many mods available for them and everything is plug and play everything I have sent for the new parts line up so if you don't think your very handy most of these things are so simple to install and all you need is tools you have in your home so start simple and gradually work your way up to more difficult installed and you will increase your confidence and pride in you truck
After two years of owning your tacoma, how do you like it? I’m currently looking to purchase third generation tacoma before the end of this year. Did you end up keeping it? Modifying it at all? Just curious :)
Great video Jason. Sarge is coming out great. The ram videos I always look forward to watching as well even tho I sadly had to sell my old d150. I have a 2nd gen tacoma now 2005 belonged to my friend in my fire dept he sadly died on the way to a fire call and I got his truck a month or so later just felt like the right thing to do. Since then I've replaced alot on the truck and I might now be a Toyota guy now myself. Keep up the good videos. Cheers.
wouldn't recommend the pedal commander. A lot of issue with after 9 months of use. typically it stops sending power and you wont be able to accelerate at all.
I agree, I don’t understand why people would purchase a Tacoma let alone a truck & try to make it fast, if you wanted fast you should have purchased a sports car
Hey Man, I see that you put Tan seat covers in your Tacoma. Tan goes with Green so much better than gray or black. Anyhow, have you ever heard of Katzkin seat covers? They make Leather seat covers. The instillation is included. They take your factory cloth or leather off of your seats and install the seat “covers” directly onto your seats, so they fit and look like factory leather. I have Black Leather in my 23 TRD Off Road. I HATE Black or Gray interiors, so I’m having Katzkin replace my leather with Red Leather with Black trim and stitching. A buddy of mine has Gray Cloth in his 23 TRD Off Road, so he’s buying the black leather that’s coming out of my truck. I’m also adding Red accents into double cab, as well as some Red badging on the exterior of my truck. In a few years I’ll have the lower sections of my Tacoma painted in a Red metallic. My last truck (I bought used) was Silver so I had it 2 toned out in Red metallic. The interior of that truck was Gloomy Gray and Boring Black, so I had it reupholstered in Red with Black trim and stitching and had it pinstriped in Red as well. It was a 1 of a kind and I got a LOT of compliments on it. Most of the time when a pickup is Silver, the lower 2 tone color is gray or charcoal gray. The Red metallic made it Pop. But after 13 years of ownership and Only 36K miles, we needed a Double Cab instead of an Access Cab, so I sold it and bought our 23 TRD Off Road
I disagree with the pedal commander, The OTT tune is so much better it fixes the gear hunting of the trans, make the throttle more responsive and remaps the VVT bringing peak HP and torque to 2900 rom vs 4400
I need a pedal commander. Going from a 20 year old 4.0 TJ to a tacoma has definitely been a letdown in the torque department. starting the tacoma in first, feels like the wrangler in 3rd. I've almost gotten into so many accidents because i pull out into traffic and the thing just doesnt move. It just hesitates and feels bogged down all the time. It's got enough power to chirp the tires (lol) but only after the pedal is on the floor for about 2 seconds.
Hi, I have a 2012 taco and I love it, someone toke one of my mud flaps and it sucks and I see ur truck and just love it, looks awesome to me! , I'm looking for mud flaps and the rain vizer for windows on my truck . If you know of a link I can go to I really appreciate it . Thanks again Endre.
Sarge green is named for the Jeep Gladiator, almost the same color as army green from Toyota. Kinda weird you named your Tacoma after the JEEP Gladiator color?
Hi, I’d Love to have those mud flaps for my 23 Tacoma so I can send the Weather Tech that I haven’t installed yet. The WeatherTech’s are very ridged and I’m afraid that I’ll rip them off going over rough terrain
K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: Increase Acceleration 2021 to help me with sound and gas mileage. If you have any recommendations to help me, I told sometimes and then also I need a recommendation for a ton of cover. I have one but I can't put it on
Awesome video. I'm new to the Taco family but already slowly making upgrades. Looking to get some new beefier shoes with out having to add a lift kit. Any suggestions??
Hey I was looking back on your old videos and was wondering what a good minibike would be to buy to start modifying it and start riding. I wanna buy one to just mess around on and have fun. Please let me know any affordable recommendations!
Hey Gunner, so my #1 recommendation would a cheap used Honda if you can find a good deal. They last literally forever and parts are all over the place. But for a traditional mini bike… probably the Coleman BX200. They’re better than a CT200 in stock form. Same upgrades I’ve shown on my channel apply to that bike. Also, in case you missed it… I did a great minibike build video this spring that hasn’t been recommended or seen as much as the old ones. That shows a full stage 2 engine build and my old minibike now is a torque monster that goes almost 50 mph. 😅
For your tires, did you have to lift the truck or did you just install and run it as is? I bought those bronze rims and would luv to install those without having to lift my truck...
Hey there, no you don't need a lift to run 265/70/17s. Only issue I've had was I couldn't run a front mudflap because that did rub. Other than that no issues at all. I have since done a lift, but that was more for ground clearance... not fitting tires. The truck was still on its stock suspension when I made this video.
For a manual? Yeah I checked on their website and it would work. The pedal commander doesn't do anything regarding your transmission programming if it was an automatic. BTW... consider me jealous. I tried to get a manual for months!
Did you have any warranty issues with the Pedal Commander? I know that they say that you wont but that doesn't make it so. Are you still using it and is it working without issue ?
