Change the eartips to a 3rd party eartips. It's much more comfortable and also upgrading the sound quality (depending on what brands are you using). Also you could buy new cable that has mic on it.

I recommend kinera celest sky! But i personally prefer a standart usb mic. Using cable that has mic on it actually degrade your sound quality a little bit if you arent using the right dac/amp. @@dexxter9502

Got my zero 2 today and rly happy with it, im using a g435 for games where sound doesn't really matter like league of legends but this just made my completion of "senua's saga hellblade 2" so much more immersive

@@sankeethram7559 it's amazing for music and gaming! but the chu 2 has a known issue where it starts corroding and oxidizing (basically rusiting) in a month after buying especially in moist environments.

Good picks. I have the EDX Pro X and Castor Harman. Among all my IEMs. The Castor Harman is actually my favorite for gaming. Over the Tripowin Olina & Artti T10 even. Recently ordered the Supermix 4 which I suspect will dethrone it. Good job on the video and audio production on this video 👍👍 Edit: Wanted to add the I got the Castor for about $6 on Alix bundle deals 😂

Currently have hyper x cloud 3 wired but looking for iems that have better sound quality as in soundstage / imaging and separation because I feel like my headset bunches all noises together

@@kiingchucho-_-2091 Hi there. I have the same Cloud 3 Wired and also the iem tangzu and moondrop chu (altho its 1st ver). I can say that the cloud 3 sounds better if u install the Ngenuity app then turn on DTS setting. u can disable ngenuity in start-up apps if u dont need it to run in background in the pc. since the setting stays on the headphone.

Drove Caster daily for about 2 weeks, it sounds amazing for the price, especially the treble extension; not necessarily detailed and clean but somewhat upfront, clear and airy, which I believe is just a tiny bit better than Wan-Er but qc issues often happening, I had one pair which was too shouty than what it should be.

Try something like counterstrike with all these headphones again to check directionality and soundstage..I think the winners and losers may change spots.

Interesting, my research about the IEMs got me the info that Tangzu Waner was a little worse than 7HZ Zero 2, so I decided to get 7HZ zero 2 first, then next month I will also grab the waner but didn't expect KZ castor in this list. Might as well get that the month after the next month.

@@babymaker8986 I like them, they're super comfortable once in the ear and the mic is pretty decent. The sound is really good as well. My only complaint is that I didn't get the foam eartips like he showed in the video. Just some transparent silicone tips which I don't like but I just got a different 3rd party set.

I would recommend not to consider iems from KZ if you're looking iems for gaming. It's great for listening to music and watching movies and stuff in fact it's better than most of the iems reviewed in this video for that but I have kz zsn pro 2 and believe me it's horrible in gaming(for valorant) maybe it's because of the sound engine used in the game. The footsteps can be heard clearly and the direction of footsteps can be predicted from far but it's sounds very mushy even the gun firing sounds very mushy. I've researched on this and turns out that almost every iem from KZ have this problem. My heart just shattered when I used it in valorant. How can such a good sounding iems provide bad experience in a game. I haven't tested it much in story games, although I played ghost of tsushima for some time and it seemed fine (better than valorant) but this may be because my ears are now used to hearing that sound I am not sure. Conclusion: Go over more reviews for iems from KZ and be specific on your research if you find it suitable based on your use then you can consider it.

These castor bass are pretty good, but in terms of technicality the zero blues are better. I think the castor bass sounds better for music though.

My preference is not a lot or a little bass, it is accuracy. Any headsets, IEMs, or speakers goal should be to be as full range (producing extremely low bass, and extremely high trebles) as possible without any drops along the frequency range. MOST IEMs in general do not do this, and really focus only on the latter half of frequency response, thus incorrectly recreating the sound.

So with the Chu 2, Zero 2 and the Wan'er you can purchase an aftermarket cable that has a boom mic on it. With the other two IEMs I'm not sure there are cables with boom mics but you can purchase cables for them that have an integrated microphone

I bought a set of the KZ Castor based off your recommendation. I ordered the set without the mic and they didn't come with the foam tips. Also the directional sound was terrible. Is there a setting I need to use? I couldn't work out where other players were and it was too heavy bass wise.

I own both moondrop chu 2 and tanzu I feel tanzu is more of a natural sounding but moondrop chu2 has this mid base , tanzu they go really loud Try listening to something like 'Stairway to heaven ' u will know how good the tanzu are Thank me later ;)

@Josh-Tech-Reviews not really depends on the person for me i like the sound stage of tanzu better but my ears are quite small so i feel a bit of ear fatigue after a bit of time with tanzu so i primarily use the moodrop chu 2 as it is very small and fits like charm but when i feel like listening to some metal and some old 20's song i would prefer the tanzu

The wan’er isn’t good for music? It’s probably the best one out of these for music lol. Try pulling up on the back of your ears when inserting to get a deeper seal. Also try different tips, I dont think you are getting a proper seal.

I have the KZ Castor Bass Edition, I originally got them for music but I tried them on my PS5 and I can tell you guys those iems are NOT for gaming Sounds good but they have non existent directional audio, if you play cod or shooters you literally hear everything on both ears, you can't even tell if the sound came from your left or right, it's just a general sound without direction So avoid those if you only want them for gaming, for music they're extremely good tho

The CCA CRA’s are actually exactly the same as the EXX Pro X in terms of build and sound quality. They seem to be manufactured by the same company which is pretty common with IEMs.
