I own a 2019 Tundra TRD Pro and freaking love it. Drove Tacoma's for 15 years but this truck is the bomb. Yes she's a thirsty bitch, but I don't care, she does exactly what I ask her to do, and then some. Have you ever tried the "Tow Haul" button without towing anything? Talk about fun, wow, feels like the truck has 100 more horses under the hood, and will SMOKE the rear tires. Hey I'm 63 but it's still fun to do every once in a while.

Yo bro, I have this exact truck. Bought it new June if 2020. Does your ac keep blowing cold air out of vents you have turned off? If I turn off the ac vents blowing in my face to the floor vents, I still get cold air coming through the top vents. It’s enough to annoy me. Every other vehicle I’ve ever owned or been in, whatever ac vent you turn off the ac stops blowing air completely from that spot. It’s so annoying. My f150 never did that

I just bought this same truck a week ago and I love it. Just make sure Toyota put the wheel lock key in it because they didn't on mine. Those locks are big money from dealer.

Oh man I didn’t even think of that and I need to rotate my tires soon. Thank you for the tip!

Look for McGARD CARD and have dealer pay for your replacement. Mechanic probably left it in bay table somewhere. The card has unique alpha numeric code that is an exact replacement for your key lock. Inside manual pouch zip lock bags with all the literature to vehicle.

I hate to pry but I'm curious about the financial aspect of a purchase like this. Since you are able to care for older vehicles why did you pull the trigger on such a big ticket item like this? Do you plan on paying it off and keeping it indefinitely?

No that's a good question. I pulled the trigger on a new truck because it was simply getting to be that time. I wanted something with a little more reliability than a 20+ year truck, and decided that if I'm going to drop the money on something, that it better be reliable and it better be something that I want. I can continue to care for my older truck but there comes a time when it doesn't make sense and it's almost (from an ease standpoint) better to buy a newer vehicle. I did a lot of shopping around and these were much better priced than newer Chevy's, Dodges, and Fords, and also you can't beat Toyota's reliability. This is a truck that I plan on keeping until it dies for the next 20 or 30 years so it's worth the value and taking the hit in depreciation in my opinion. Thanks for the question! I know that having a new truck on a channel like mine is a little bit odd haha.

@@MidwestGarage I did the same this past June. Never bought new before. Actually sold my 73 f350 scs beater truck. I loved that truck but really love the tundra.

I think the old Avalanche rear window did the same?

I believe those rear windows were removable but wouldn’t roll down. I’ll have to look into that though, now I’m curious!
