Pyramid heads chase music is badass I love it

Idk if you knew this, but Pyramid Head's chase theme is actually composed by the man himself, Akira Yamaoka, the composer of Silent Hill 2's OST. Its SUPPOSED to sound bad and like machinery. He wanted the chase theme to feel more awkward and whatthefuckery due to Silent Hill's themes of mystery. Its bad on purpose. So I'd knock this off the list since the theme does its job well enough

Twins’ being second honestly hurts my soul, their chase music and terror radius is always rated lowly which upsets me because… honestly it’s one of the best themes in the entire game to me Everything about it feels so suffocating and horrifying, the song echoes all around you when wearing headphones and it really pushes the idea that you aren’t safe anywhere, and you’re outnumbered.

This whole short misses the point. The chase themes are to fit the character. An analysis based on how well a theme fits a character would make more sense. First of all you mentioned hillbilly which his whole theme is meant to mimick the sounds of a chainsaw whereas when hes near, a part of the track that plays in his terror raidius is a distant chainsaw rev which is beautiful. This works as it can confuse a player as well, which makes him a much more menacing killer. Also, there are multiple base game chase themes for characters that dont have their own, a couple of which actually go really hard. You just happened to pick the worst one. Another thing, some of these themes I'll agree have a bad chase track but maybe have way cooler nearby themes like Ghostface or Oni. Music is a complex thing to analyze. Someone who does it right would be someone like Marco Meatball. Anyways, whoever made it this far, thanks for reading, and dont let a 30 - to 60-second long video shape your opinion on something. The only problem with Cenobite chase music is the chase itself. It sounds too default. And also remove pyramidhead from this list. Because that's actually one of the best chase / terror musics

i think all the music in DBD is great but I will say I agree with the twins but I like the rest. I personally don't like death slingers and artist. as a music major I think DBD has done a great job with Thier music overall
