@@Im_SSJay too late... Charger - Blight Smoker - Deathslinger Spitter - Plague Jockey - Victor Hunter - Demogorgon Witch - Hag Tank - maybe? (or neme) Boomer - Bill thx for helpin the edit
Don't forget, Scoops Ahoy Steve Harrington, being chased by Pyramid Head, in the Racoon City Police Department. This is some timeline we live in. And yes, I know Stranger Things is leaving DBD, but as far as I know, Steve, Nancy, and the Demo are staying if you bought their dlc before it went away, Hawkins is what is leaving, and honestly? That's not much of a downside tbh. XD
@@ultimatedespair2368 I mean, I liked the map just because of it being a love letter to Stranger Things, but imo, it’s in a similar vein to Haddonfield, where it’s very faithful to the source material, but not very balanced. Haddonfield is obviously the worse offender of that, but Hawkins is there too.
The difference between his terror radius and other killers terror radius is that when you hear the normal terror radius, it just feels like the killer is nearby, but with Nemesis it’s different. It’s this overwhelming feeling that someone is not just nearby, but looking for you, and I feel like that’s the vibe this gives off.
Seretonin injector plus something a build of trail of torment, insidious and maybe monitor and abuse and you have ninja nemesis. fucking disgusting and I love it
@@cloudshines812 how would chucky even work tho? How would he get survivors to the hook? It would probably have to be like the twins, but with Tiffany and chucky
But we’re still missing Jason, Candyman, Pumpkinhead, Predator, Pennywise, Xenomorph, The Keeper from Evil Within, Annie Wilkes, Jack Torrance, Chucky, the ghost girl from The Grudge and so many more underrated horror villains.
And hes almost 8' tall maybe he is But I don't know For 7' tall You can probably pick over Palette Because hes so tall It's going to be scary this fat man.
This might be the first sorta bossfight in dbd. Minions - check Boss - check Puzzle element (in this case, virus) - check And of course, the boss music - check
@@joshualighttime604 i think that the zombies are actually pretty good they just stand at loops or even walks to the gens so you can't repair and that is so useful for the killer imagine a gen at 80% and a zombie comes to the gen so you can't repair anymore so that allows nemesis to PoP the gen and i think is kinda broken but it seems pretty fun and i don't know how everything is going to be at the end but i just know one thing and that thing is that this chapter is so so amazing
The amount of PTSD bill has. He spent a long time trying to make a plan to defeat the zombies, kill countless amounts of them, be killed by them, only to go into a realm where there’s even MORE. And he doesn’t have a gun.
I'm glad they went with Nemy over Mr. X. Although I feel Nemesis was underutilized in the remake, this should make him feel like the intimidating, relentless badass he's supposed to be again.
nothing is more intense than going down that one corridor in the station where all the zombies would usually be in re2, and having nemesis charging toward you and only you
Re3 remake was pretty action packed and made Jill like an action hero which was kinda its weak point IMO since the second game with Leon and Claire felt incredibly scary and was a perfect survival horror. But somehow the action movie nemesis theme works perfectly for DBD considering you’re running away from him and vaulting and all that.
Well, I think one scene will forever be burned into my mind where I was running up and down those stupid corridors of the Bedford School building, into a classroom, around the tables and back out down the corridor again four times or so with Nemesis on my heels while zombies were shambling out of the rooms left and right. Got myself downed and hooked in a classroom with Nemesis camping just out the door, but I wasted enough time for my team to repair all remaining gens and escape.
You know what i love about Nemesis? You got killers in this game bringing knives, bats, machetes, chainsaws, and hammers. But Nemesis just says "get ready to catch these hands my boy."
For me, this theme feels different depending if you're a survivor or Nemesis. As a survivor, it feels like this powerful and unstoppable being is looking for you, and during a chase, it makes you feel like there's no escaping, like you're defenseless and weak. As Nemesis, it makes you feel unstoppable, like the survivors are done for because of you, you feel overwhelmingly strong.
As a nemesis main I would be compelled to agree with you but it really stops making you feel empowered when you've been hearing it for like a million hours in the same chase and you've missed like a thousand tentacles lol
Still wish he said it a bit more like it's a small detail but I would love it if he said stars after punching a stars member in an agresive way and if you are chasing a stars if he like mumbles it now and then because ngl I love playing him but for nemisis he sounds a bit hollow it's hard to explain really
This has to be my favorite chase music. I don’t play Nemesis but when you’re playing survivor, this track combined with those massive foot steps behind you and the whips of the tentacle are very scary. I definitely think Nemesis is the scariest killer in the game, he’s just so immense.
I disagree, as cool as it sounds the music really feels out of place when you hear it in game. It honestly feels better as a boss fight in some sort of action game, it's too fast paced for the gameplay that DBD has.
Demogorgon probably has the loudest footstep sounds of them all. Heck, the Demogorgon himself is actually insanely large but he keeps stunting his own size with his hunched over stance.
@@samuelbballing8253 I hate Blight. Everything about the character. Including his music. He's the least intimidating killer as well. Just as oppressive as deathslinger with the mobility of old school crack Billy
@@gageowo9527 have you ever gone against a good blight with a solid chunk of hours in him? he is terrifying and If you include alchemist ring he's even more frightening what is your version of intimidating in this game?
What’s even worse is when he has Tinkerer or some other undectable perk and all you hear moments before being smacked are his massive, heavy footsteps.
@@HawkOfKrypton Probably because this one's a lot more unpredictable, being controlled by an actual person, kinda like OG Nemesis who was also pretty great in that aspect. Remake Nemesis is also great and has some cool unpredictable moments, but overall he's way too scripted to feel like an actually looming threat like Mr. X was on his own remake.
@@SanelyInsane13 Really good point, that kinda makes it more fun facing licensed killers. I personally haven't played any RE games but I checked out the Tyrant and Nemesis scenes from the RE games after hearing about this new chapter and it seems like you can be the slowest slowpoke and most casual player in the world and you'll still easily outrun these guys no matter what and the fights are predictable as well. I wish they'd make a game with a spooky guy following you but casual players will actually struggle a lot to escape and come out victorious rather than being able to drink tea and eat cake while waiting for the enemy to actually, finally get close enough to take you out. You can't say the same about really skilled Killer players playing this guy, he seems strong and it's actually scary when this guy comes running after you or when he's menacingly standing in a doorway.
@@doublevision2943 from my experience it's less about mr x catching up and more about not running into him, a huge roadblock, and once he does find you, being constantly on the move. Assisted mr x is like carrying a survivor speed. Mr x on normal+ actually makes you run, which can alert zombies and ESPECIALLY lickers. he's not meant to attack more of block. the real damage comes from the environmental impact he makes, which is difficult to pull off in a game like dbd
Can we just talk about the simplistic genius of dbd’s theme artists in this piece. They perfectly captured the fear of nemesis with three simple parts. 3:07 The track begins with a sinister uprising empathizing nemesis’s intentions and how he’s more then capable of completing the task 3:09 The track then makes a echoing roar showing you nemesis’s size, confirming for you the shear mass of power that is chasing you, it is looming in comparison to you making you shudder. 3:17 Then right after repeating the two previous parts it makes this alarm-like sound to inspire panic, that death is closing in and you only have a few seconds to react. The alarm could also be in relation to the chaos nemesis caused in raccoon city with alarms going off all over the city due to the zombies. Whatever the intention the track accomplishes representing nemesis musically as oppressive panic, which is often how I took it playing RE3
I love the screeching that sounds like brakes, reminds me of the subway at the beginning of RE3. It’s almost like Nemesis is part of Raccoon City itself and the entire city and its inhabitants are coming to get you
Thats how it actually is in Raccoon city during the outbreak. EVERYTHING wants a piece of you. The zombies the animals Nemesis himself and the city is literally falling apart. Especially in the OG things were even more chaotic.
Nemesis has been out for almost half a year and i still find myself coming back and listening to this, to this day still my all time favorite chase theme, whoever was the one who thought of adding that instrument that jumps in at his 8 meter radius and carries on into the chase theme, give that person a raise…my favorite part of tune and i get hooked no pun intended whenever i hear it!
@@xRougeButterfly You are right. I am not talking about the character design. Talking about how scary Nemesis is in DBD in comparison to the RE3 Remake
this is the best chase them. It's been a while and still no one has topped this. The 2nd phase, where he's 16 meters from you is the best imo. Sometimes I want him to be around me just to listen to the violins switching from note to note so drastically. I love this theme
@@extsyy yeah, wesker's theme is amazing because it also fits him, like, he has a whole ass choir. What better way to show you're a narcissist than having a choir while chasing after survivors
I remember my first game when I encountered Nemesis. I wasn't playing dbd for a long time and I wasn't up to date with new killers and stuff. So I'm working on a gen, chilling, and then he fucking appears. His walking animation literally terrified me as for the first time in my dbd gameplay I thought "OH GOD HE IS CHASING AFTER ME" and so I completely forgot the game rules and mechanics, left 99% gen and started running like a bitch. 10/10 would get spooked again
I was in KYF when Nemesis came out and my friends never faced him. I was playing Nemesis and I chased after my 15 yo friend and I remember he legit screamed “THIS GUY IS LIKE THANOS?!!!!”
I just cant get enough of the accuracy of the music. This is literally a remix of Nemesis' original theme from his first game but still has that modern doomsday sound that you get from the Remake, the same for Wesker, hearing that they remixed "Winds of Madness" to his chase music in DBD is wonderful, the Silent Hill theme turned to the DBD lobby theme, Michael Myers Chase music turned into a fast paced remix of his iconic theme. Michael F April is one magnificent being. I can not wait to see the next licensed chapter, one of the most exciting things about licenses is the music being turned into a DBD remix and that is a unique feature this game holds to.
@@Fabri0501 I honestly don't even compare the two, they both have their different vibes that they give off just as the characters themselves. They both sound uniquely well made.
Ah yes the sounds of Dwight crouching everywhere being scared Bill trying to do a gen but missing EVERY skill check Random ass fucking laurie slams a pallet for no reason 5 gens left and you just got in a chase with the guy
The thing I love about this theme is it gives off a feeling of dread and something powerful searching for something and then the chase it’s found what it wants and won’t stop until it gets it
It took a Doomguy-worthy railgun just to kill him in the new timeline. Here, the only way he’s dying is if the Entity finds a new toy (or they lose the RE license) and say “bored now!”
Perfect choice for a chase theme it makes you feel like it was taken right from Resident Evil. Also, the choices for this chapter for this were so good. Leon is Leon what can I say Jill is arguably the most recognizable female in the franchise and one of the original protagonists from the game that started it all and Nemesis is a classic monster and honestly a better choice over Mr. X. I understand Village fans are upset Lady D isn't in but if she was don't take this the wrong way but IF she was the choice it would honestly be a waste of the license rights and it also and a missed opportunity to not have the classic characters. Don't get me wrong noting wrong with Village or Ethan or Lady D but for this chapter and for the license rights and classic RE was IMO the correct way to go. I'm so glad that they did go with classic RE btw. Also, no joke I added this to my workout playlist it gets you pumped up in a weird way.
Anyone who is mad cause they didn’t get Lady D is just a mega simp and needs to get cultured. Nemesis and Mr. X are the original OG’s of the franchise and were the only ones in my opinion who deserved a chance to be in DBD.
I wish Nemsis's power in this game was something more aggressive like crashing through walls and pallets, grabbing and throwing survivors, or something like ignoring a stun and throwing the pallet back up. He doesn't feel very intimidating anymore after playing against him for a while, since he just tries to slap you with the funny tentacle and you can get hit up to 3 times before going down
sometimes it’s hard to tell a difference between terror radius and chase themes. You know the difference with Nemesis. When he’s near you the music is epic, but when he chases you it’s like facing God.
The best chase music in the game along with Myers and Demo. But there’s just something about Nemesis I love, he’s arguably my favourite killer to play as and against.
Nemesis feels like a proper boss fight too rather than an unfair enemy. He’s both strong, intimadating, has zombie minions and almost near indestructible but not stupidly broken
I remember when I got back into dbd after, oh let's say, four years or so of not playing and I got into a swf with some buddies who have been playing it that entire time, I go onto a generator trying to remember all the controls and I see fucking Nemesis from RE in the cornfields sprinting towards me so I take off only to get jumped by a zombie and slapped with the tentacle while the chase music blared in my ears. Let me tell you, I have never been more exhilarated playing survivor in my life.
Have a friend I was playing with, and he mentioned how Nemesis runs like he's on a mission. Ironically. And I go, yeah, don't you hear this goddamn music? No wonder he runs like that lol.
This music fills me with a sense of adrenaline I haven’t felt on any killer before him. As a survivor hearing the music is like nemesis is searching for you, ravaging anything that stands in his way like a beast filling you with a sense of fear only prey ever experience. As the nemesis his track makes you feel like an unstoppable force of nature, countering anything the survivors throw at you, chasing them with unrelenting focus, it feels like no matter what the end result is the same, we can only run. The predator and prey really is the only way to describe the theme.
I love the 16 meter one because its a callback to the original Resident Evil soundtrack. Like how they had the violin riffs in it to make your hair stand on end
I love this theme more than the one in RE3, it sounds like you are always being chased by something that you are not quite sure what it even is. It's an ominous force always looking for you. And I love the sound of the gas pipe leaking as well as the siren at the beginning of the theme. It kinda captures the feeling of him bringing the entirety of Racoon City with him with all those noises. So playing against Nemesis on RPD is the most immersive experience you could have without ever playing Resident Evil beforehand.
32 meters: hes an intelligent bio weapon he knows where you are he knows what his plan is 16 meters: your hiding with fear and you hear heavy footsteps hes looking for you 8 meters: he found you Chase: all it takes is one big fist in your face to die and hes mike the nemesis tyson
It always creeps me the fuck out with those shriek sounds at the start. When I hear that I probably won’t get out of that chase easily and the way he runs is the most intimidating out of all the killers.
The only build I’ll ever bring the Nemmy is Bamboozle, Brutal Strength, Superior Anatomy, and Enduring. It makes you feel how powerful Nemesis really feels
I’m glad they chose Jill as one of the base characters as she hasn’t gotten too much to do in the franchise despite her recent remake and her still being one of the most popular characters.
