Hello, everyone! Glad to be back, sorry for the long wait on this one. I already announced the reason I was gone for so long on Twitter but I will post it here as well. My grandma was in the hospital with heart failure and was in pretty bad condition. She is doing better and is back at home now, but that's why I was away for a bit. I hope to have one more video up this month on the day of Halloween! For those wondering I am going to be dressing up as a Zombie on Halloween day and going out with a group dressed as Walking Dead characters. I seriously hate the fact that you seem to have said that girls who try to cosplay as pokemon are trying to sexualize pokemon. When i went as pikachu i wore that outfit and had no intent to be "sexy" and i don't really think people saw me that way. (exept maybe that Hypno cosplayer i saw and a few others) But i do hate it when people do try to sexualize pokemon. Its just wrong
I think that went on for the fact that if you search for girls and cosplay most of the ones you find are really sexualized and that's why he keeps on mentioning it. Not that every girl is trying to do it.
I will be pikachu next year but its not a dress its a hoody as for where i live it was snowing on Halloween this year so yeah its pretty cold but you can't walk down an isle of halloween costumes without finding sexy disney princess or sexy nurses....i don't think he ment all girls tho
And of course all the people dressed as Pokemon characters will be playing Pokemon Go as they trick or treat >:D *I shouldn't be talking that's exactly what I'm doing*
I always go all in on Halloween costumes. A few years ago I tried Pikachu and it actually worked ok except my ears and tail. So I did something easier last year and went with Marie from Splatoon. Not that bad if I do say so myself.
I've always wanted to try making my own costume; I think I'd go with either Espeon or Metaknight. Espeon is my favorite of the Eeveelutions, and when I play Gale of Darkness, I always evolve my starter Eevee into an Espeon because it can really kick some ass later in the game with all those darned Poison types. But for this year, I'm keeping it pretty simple because A) October is hell for college students (midterms and research papers up the wazoo) and B) I'm not going to any parties/trick or treat outings/anything else this year. I'm recycling my costume from last year and going as Haruhi from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, also mainly because I've been wanting to get my hair cut but keep putting it off for one reason or another, so I figure that I might as well wait till after Halloween to get a trim if I'm going to do Haruhi, because my hair is just the right length to pull off a Haruhi cosplay.:)
At the top of looking ridiculous, dressing up as Pokémon doesn't really work for Halloween, unless you dress up something like a Dusknoir or Trevenant. You are supposed to look scary, like a demon or something like that. That's what Halloween is all about.

Videogame Fan Hypno only did that ONCE. And he just hypnotized it. But he does eat dreams, and prefers good dreams.....so I wouldn't have all these weird dreams if it wasn't for him!
I know its too early but this 2017 Im going as Serena. My little sister will be Bonnie. a Friend will be Clemond. My cousin will be Ash with a Pikachu plush.A classmate will be Red and her sister will be a Shiny Umbreon. {I will have my sylveon plush and my Pancham plush} My bestie will be Misty and my other bestie will be May. We are going all together to trick n treat! We are also still looking for other interested people xD. I have another friend but she doesnt know if she should go as Mega Diancie or Espeon. {Her two favorite pokemon xD} I think it will be the best Hallooween ever!
For the talent show at school last year, we had a pokemon themed act. (It was a mashup of the pokerap, the original game intro, and the first themesong. :D ) We all had costumes, and I think we actually handled our costumes pretty well. I was jessie (no obnoxious hair though xD), my friend was misty, and her bf was ash. As for our pokemon, we had a pikachu and a squirtle. For pikachu, I lent my friend a yellow shirt and yellow wrap skirt that she just put on over her normal clothes, made ears and a tail, and it looked fine. It wasn't skimpy, nor was a terrible. For squirtle, my other friend basically just wore a blue shirt and dark glasses. He didn't have the shell backpack we were supposed to borrow but it worked out pretty well. ^_^ I'd say if you're going to dress up as a pokemon, do an interpretation. Don't do it for accuracy, do it so it's obviously the pokemon but still looks good. I plan to be blaziken in the future, but I'm not doing a body suit. Instead It'll be a vest, pants that I had used for Erza's samurai outfit, gloves/bracers, and what I call pig-tail "socks" for the big "hair" things that blaziken has on it's head. It doesn't make sense when I describe it, lol. >.
Well, ALMOST any round Pokemon... If you want to be Voltorb or Electrode... Just make a giant ass ball with red and white, eyes and (if Electrode) a mouth. Go inside the ball and move it the way you want to, and have it be a one-way mirror; you can see in, no one can see out.
Not all women sexualize Pokemon or things in general more often than not, guy try to stuff there girlfriends into the " sexy" Pokemon costumes .and also in the cosplay community anything is able to be made a costume they just ahead it to what they are comfortable with.and lastly it Halloween if someone want to be a slutty Pokemon just let them it's there body and we have no right to determine what they will and won't wear. Sorry about this mini rant
I guess the only times a Pokemon costume can look good is when the Pokemon's proportions are close enough to a human's. I once saw someone with a really good Lopunny costume.
ᴊᴏʀᴅᴀɴ ᴠ At least it's better than what happened last year at school. I *tried* to be Rayman (he's the one on the right in my profile picture) but failed absolutely miserably, I had to make do with what I had. Only 1 person knew who I was, and 2 people thought I was a Teletubby and 20th century cowgirl respectively. If I'm doing the same thing this year, then I'll make the hair with Instamorph, improve the hoodie from last year, try to find white mini gloves and make sure the shoes are the right colour.

How i dress up as Pokemon.. 1.Get a sheet of paper 2.Get a pencil 3.Get a morphing costume 4. Draw a picture of the Pokemon you wanna be. 5. Get some glue 6. Stick it to the morphing costume. 7. And bam!
I'm going to be MIKU Hatsune for Halloween! Ps I'm a girl using my dad's account XD BUT MIKU IS MY LIFE!! And my friend Michael wants to be Pikachu for Halloween lol I can't wait to see that....
I'm going as Ash and I have the Pikachu for it which is perfect. I'm gonna try to make a few PokeBall and put some figures of his Pokemon inside or get the cards of them.

Not all girls want to make Pikachu look sexy by dressing as it. I dressed as it for Halloween and people loved it. I wasn't just looking for attention and trying to "sexualize Pokemon." I WAS FREAKING 10.
I have the Pikachu one considered "Sexual" Some people actually told me it was cute. BTW there is also a Kid's size of the "Sexual" one. So the "Sexual" (Which is totally not sexual) Pikachu one is better than trying for Togepi or Gengar, so, my point is, IT IS NOT SEXUEL.

I know somebody who wanted to be pikachu for Halloween and the costume was like this: They wore a pikachu wool hat and got an inflatable body suit that doesn’t cover their head and a pikachu tail. They ended up looking like a stripe less, fat pikachu.
I'm going as either GIR from Invader Zim, Nyan Cat or Charlie Scene of Hollywood Undead. I haven't decided yet. I like to customize my costume by adding wings, a tail, a cape, a choker or skeleton hand gloves. It just adds a special touch.
When I was in 2nd grade I dressed up as poliwhirl lol it looked just like the jigglypuff costume on here but blue instead. Anyone remember that official costume from back in the day? Lol
