My pet peeves are companies who only produce Gryffindor colored items and leave out the other three houses. And people who are disrespectful towards the other houses.

Two pet peeves: 1. People (mostly muggles) saying that Slytherins are all Evil! 2. When people say that hedwig is a boy.

My biggest pet peeve is, when someone says that hufflepuff is the worst house and their useless people who got put into that house because none of the other houses wanted them. 😤

My biggest pet peeve would be some people not understanding how brave Neville is, why he's a Gryffindor, and how important he was in winning against Voldemort.

My HP pet peeve is people thinking that Gryffindor is the best house just because Harry is in it. Like no THEY'RE ALL GREAT HOUSES EQUALLY. I actually have friends who keep making fake accounts on Pottermore because each time they do the sorting hat quiz it doesn't give them the house they want...

My biggest pet peeve is that there are not more options of merchandise for Sirius Black and Remus Lupin!! They are my favorite characters!!!

NUMBER 6 KILLS ME! There was this guy talking to me and about 10 other people and something we all had in common was that we’re Harry Potter fans. This guy went a on a huuuuuuge rant about how he’s the biggest Harry Potter fan and that he’s better than he because of all the merchandise he has. Then we found out that he NEVER read the books because “the movies are better”. How can you make that comparison if you never read the books?! Lol I do number 3 when talking to my parents. Whenever I say Wizarding World they assume it means the fictional world and my dad actually said once, “You do realize that’s not real, right?” So I have to say Harry Potter world for them to know what I’m taking about 😂😂

It annoys me when some one says something like, the Harry potter movies were way better than the books. I always think, what about Peeves what about Winky?

My pet peeve is when someone thinks just because I’m 29 that I shouldn’t love something that literally got me through childhood. But they just don’t understand that opening that book again for the 20th time or rereading it after I just finished it is sometimes like coming home.

My biggest pet peeve as a Harry Potter fan would have to be the reputation that everyone gives each house. Yes, each house has their characteristics, and that is what makes them unique, but not everyone in the houses are exactly the same. Yes, Gryffindors are typically seen as brave, noble, or having a short temper. But not everyone in that house is noble, or brave, or has a bad temper. They may just be brave, or just noble, but also have other characteristics from other houses. I agree with you Peter, there are no “inter-houses”, but you just may have qualities from other houses, and your most prominent characteristic is what lands you in your house. Remember, not all Slytherins are cunning and mean, not all Ravenclaws are stuck up and opinionated, and not all Hufflepuffs are naive.

I once had someone who had only seen the movies try to argue with me that the only person that actually cared about Harry was Snape. They said not even the Weasleys truly cared about him, that the only reason that the Weasleys, Hermione, and Dumbledoor were his friends was only because he was the chosen one, and what he could do for them. I tried to explain that was not true, that Weasley family basically adopted him, and that when they thought that Harry was dead in the Deathly Hallows not even a silencing spell casted by Voldemort himself could stop them from sreaming and crying and yelling because they were so upset over Harry dying. This person then said that the books don't matter and they acted like they knew more about the HP characters and world more than I, who has read the books multiple times, did. It really made me angry because without the books there would be no movies. (Also, it really bugs me too when people pronounce Rowling wrong)

I wish that Scholastic didn't changed the title of the original novel. Now that I'm older, I prefer "philosopher's stone" instead of "sorcerer's stone." It drives me crazy now.

My biggest pet peeves is the raven on the movie version of the Ravenclaw crest - why?? And why blue and silver, and not blue and bronze?? It makes no sense to me.

I watched the movies first but I’m in the fifth book, and ya the books are way better.

My HP pet peeve is when someone says “oh I don’t like Harry Potter” but never read a book nor seen a movie, how don’t you like it then?

My top peeve is the poor casting of Ginny. The actress was so lackluster, there was zero chemistry between her character and Harry.

I was sorted into Slytherin, too. The pronunciation of J K Rowling's name makes me cringe but my biggest pet peeve was losing the original Pottermore interactive site with it's games and the trunk where we stored our ingredients for potions and items and worked to win the House Cup. Now? No more Potions class.. No more dueling... etc. I was one of the early testers (one of the "chosen one million) lol .. who found the Magic Quill and got the question right and was granted early access to the site. I loved the artwork.. the site was gorgeous...I excelled at Potions ... and the additions by J K Rowling were a light into the Wizarding World that made it feel really exclusive. I was so disappointed when they shut it down and now, although I love Pottermore as it is, it's not anything of what it used to be. So "Pottermore dropping their interactive format" is my #1 Pet Peeve. Great vid and enjoy your vacation! :)

I have to agree with yours! My biggest pet peeve would be when people think certain characters are more important than others. In my perspective, without every character, the story would be completely different. They’re all very significant to Harry Potter’s story and life.

My pet peeves: -“super fans” who haven’t read the books -people who try to compete over who loves the wizarding world more. -people claiming they’re Gryffindor because that’s the house prominent in the books. The other houses are great too! (Especially Ravenclaw) -the belief that someone is a bigger fan because they can afford more collectibles/travel to the theme parks/ important places in the series.

That most merchandise mostly Gryffindor and Slytherin, its rare to find merchandise solely focused on either Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw!

I’m a proud Gryffindor but what I hate is me getting ditched and be called an untrue fan because I support my house and we’re there colors almost every day! But when I try to wear something or say I’m a Gryffindor everyone and I mean everyone is like “Ugh, untrue fan! Just because the trio was Gryffindor doesn’t mean you have to lie and say you are too!” HALF OF THESE PEOPLE HAVE ONLY SEEN THE MOVIES! My two biggest pet peeves: 1. When someone wants to be in Gryffindor so bad just because for example a lot of main characters are from there. Like, some people will even cheat the system on pottermore or not being honest while answering. I get really annoyed when someone claims to be in Gryffindor and you know and feel they are clearly not, and that they would fit into another house much better. And it is always Gryffindor, i have never met someone claiming to be in another of the houses and you can feel like it's wrong. 2. The mess up with Ravenclaw crest and colours in the movies. That annoys me so much. Like, how hard was it to, i don't know, maybe read in the books??!! It says right there the right information and they couldn't get it right.

personally I am a gryffindor, but i do have a soft spot for the hufflepuffs out there. My biggest pet peeve is when most people put down the hufflepuffs and disrespect them. Also a pet peeve, peeves the poltergeist....lol

my pet peeve is when People asume that Bellatrix, Lucius, Andromeda, Narcissa, (and some others) Have been in hogwarts at the time Sirius runned away from home. I dont get how they assume that, Bellatrix is 8 years older than Sirius... argh this makes me cringe so much.

Ikr I do have Slytherin trades such as cunning and ambitious, but I was sorted in Gryffindor based on my values/what I value most.

Well. People who say they know EVERYTHING about Harry Potter. But they only watch the movies. Maybe they actually DO know everything about the movies. But i agree. They shouldnt say they know everything about Harry Potter. But they should say they know ALOT about the movies.

I agree with your #6 so much. Not only are they missing out on a great portion of the story, the story they get told is different from the story in the books.

Pet peeve-›When I make a Harry Potter(or Wizarding World) reference and no one gets it. My friends and family (who haven't even seen the movies or read books) call me crazy and juvenile to fangirl over "just a children's book".

Two of my friends have only seen the movies and it is very annoying that they actually believe they know more than us who have read the complete series. They also lie to others that they have *of course* read the books and claim that they are in gryffindor just because that is the trio's house. Sorry for ranting here. 😂 *PROUD RAVENCLAW!* 💙

I think my biggest HP pet peeve is people who read something somewhere about Rowling and treat it as fact. Things that no one could possibly know about someone without being that person. Another one is when people try to tell me that Wizarding World is in Disney 😞. Just no. Walk away. EDIT: NO my #1 is the Ravenclaw house colors in the movies. Ravenclaw is my house so I am a perfectionist and ALL Ravenclaw merchandise to me is inaccurate now. WHY?!?! 😭 EDIT #2: I just thought of another one - Deathly HOLLOWS 🤦🏻‍♀️.

Biggest pet peeve is all the Ravenclaw merch with Ravens on them and not EAGLES! They are the house of the Eagles, not ravens, and it activates me when I find merch I really like at first glance only to discover a raven representing Ravenclaw. Also I was in a oddities shop in Cincinnati recently and the owner claimed to have a genuine hogwarts letter from the set of Sorcerers Stone when the Dursley house is inundated by letters. He claims a friend of his worked in props and smuggled it out (along with a second one). I don't know if it's true/real or not, but he was asking $175 Firm for it and by the time I was about to leave he'd dropped it to $100 (I still didn't buy it though as, again, I had no proof of authenticity). What do you think?

When people started saying Snape was good after reading Deathly Hallows. He may have been working on the side of good, but he was not a good man. A grown man, a teacher, bullying children because of his own issues, is not a good man. When he told Hermione he didn't see a difference, when her teeth grew. How is that a good man? No, definitely no. Not sure if it counts as a pet peeve, though. Since it's about opinions. Just something that annoys me. I feel the combined houses thing is difficult. I pretty much get 50/50 Hufflepuff/Ravenclaw on quizzes. Even on Pottermore. First one was Hufflepuff. I used another email address and got Ravenclaw. I see myself as a Hufflepuff, but still. It's really close to Ravenclaw.

I completely agree with the mixed houses (in my opinion). Like me, I'm a Hufflepuff but share many traits with Ravenclaw. Though it's normal to have more traits of other houses you are in one house and that's it. Then again my opinion, don't want to offend anyone, and thanks if you read this far :)

Greetings from Spain ^^ I must say that I've watched some of your videos and you have an amazing collection. I've been collecting for years now, but I've gone in a slightly different direction on what's concerning books. If you still need anything from Spain and want me to help you, don't hesitate on telling me, I'm always happy to help such a collector ^^ I share almost every single peeve you have. Maybe I don't share #1, but I think there's a good point on how Spanish usually pronounce when speaking English and we don't struggle on saying Rowling how it's supposed to be said. Anyway, there's a lot of stuff I can't deal with on Spanish-speaking community (I don't know how you live in the English-speaking community, but I must say I've always loved to be more involved in it) such as the extreme posing of people when there's something new in the Wizarding World, usually fake news, and it drives me totally mad when people tries to make theories just based on something they just made up because "it would be cool to see it in the movies" or because "I saw a post about it but just read the header" and they don't have in account the vast canon that we already have. The data, the references, stuff that there's not in the books but it's still there (some of it on Pottermore, that would make it more "official" if you want to say so). If someone has a theory that I don't share but there's a point on it I don't care, we can even discuss it for hours and have a good time (it wouldn't be the first time I do so with some friends), but man... As I said, it's the first time I leave a comment here, so feel proud of it ^^ Sorry if I made some mistakes but I tried my best. Greeting for your collection, your channel and your charisma ^^

My Harry Potter pet peeve is when you collect something, especially blind box/bag items, and you just need that rare one to add to your collection but people sell it for outrageous prices. I've given stuff away for free just because I like helping other people complete their collections.

I SO feel you on the house placement. I was talking to someone and they noticed my Hogwarts windbreaker and he said he was gryffindor and I asked him about his patronus because I’m a lion and he was so confused as to how I knew my patronus. so I got him to sign up and do the pottermore quiz .... he wasn’t happy to get ravenclaw and said he’s still a gryffindor 🙄 there are others houses for a reason :/ #SlytherinPrideAlways !

I just found this video and your channel, and I look forward to watching more content. I totally agree with your pet peeves. Although I did think they would be more about the books/movies, and not HP things in general. My general pet peeves are very similar.... someone told me I was a Slytherclaw the other day, and I about lost it! NO I'm a SLYTHERIN. Period. My HP specific pet peeves are the lack of Peeves in the movies, and the fact that when Fred and George left the school, the fireworks went off for days and would multiply with banishing spells causing chaos for Umbridge, and also had a swamp that they created in one of the corridors that the teachers wouldn't get rid of, and actually created a little memorial around when it was a manageable size. I feel that with F&G, that was an impressive show of magic and they just left it out of the movies! There's tons of others, like Dumbledore during the Triwizard Tournament, etc, but those are two that really stick out.

I watched the movies and fell in love. After so much crafting and wanting to learn more I started to read the books. That was a couple of years ago but thanks to videos like this that inspire me.

Pet Peeve: My biggest pet peeve is when people discriminate houses. For example, they think gryffindor is the best, and hufflepuff is the worst. As a ravenclaw.myself, I have seen so many people call us stuck up or know it alls. Before, hufflepuff was the underrated house, but I honestly think it's not ravenclaw. The only place I can buy merchandise is the wizarding world at universal Hollywood, because it's the only place I can find with actual ravenclaw things, with an EAGLE, not a raven, BUT, I can't afford those, since the price is sky high. Confession: I originally got hufflepuff, but back then I was one of those people who thought it was, not necessarily the worse house, but "one of them". I then redid the quiz, getting ravenclaw. I regret switching now. Hufflepuff has way more merch and so many people are in it. Ravenclaw on the other hand, has fewer members, and there isn't as much merchandise. I've already purchased a ravenclaw pop socket, so I'm not going back anytime soon :> Any advice on if I should go back to hufflepuff, or stay as ravenclaw?
