Nagchikahan kami nung nag interview sakin I was just getting a 10 days US visa kasi mag e-exam lang naman ako, my first time to travel as in wala first time! unemployed din and as in 50k lang laman ng bank ko! Guys dapat confident kayo and friendly and be truthful ako bukang bibig ko talaga non "Im gonna going to take the exam only and the remaining days maybe explore the area" ganern! Tinanong din sakin after that 10 days ano gagawin ko siyempre uuwi i only have small money in my bank and thats the truth i dont even know if after i take the exam and the remaining days i will go out area and explore. Ganun sagot ko dun pero happy lang yung genuine self ko lang. and guys binigyan ako ng multiple entry!

Basic guys. I noticed that majority of Filipino visa applicants, don't even know how to say a basic greeting of say "good morning" to the Vice-Consul, the official title of Consular Officials doing the interviews at the US Embassy. Yun pang Kano ang nag good morning. Pag katapos mong mag good morning/afternoon, I'm Mr so and so, I wish to apply for a visa to visit your country. May I present my passport? Abot mo na Ang passport mo. As per my experience, having a US visa, could practically "enhance" the chance of being granted visas in Canada, china, Japan, and even Europe. Btw, how will you handle a question by the Vice-Consul "why would you like to travel to the USA, when you haven't even travelled to Japan, which is very near the Philippines? Panic na Yung iba di ba? Guys, please bear in mind that foreign travel is a basic "human right". No person has a right to dictate upon another where to travel or go, not even the Vice-Consul. What's the best answer? Mr Vice-Consul, I also considered Japan for my trip, but I finally decided that I'll visit the US first, maybe for my next travel, I'll pick Japan. Alisin natin Yung "takot" kapag mag pa interview Tayo. Kulay suka karamihan sa mga first-timers. Isa pang basic mistake ay sumasagot sa tanong na hindi masyadong malinaw o hindi na intindihan, dahil nga sa nerbiyos. Finally, I let my children travel with us to foreign countries, kaya kahit adult na sila, wala na silang hassle sa mga visas na yan. PM me for more tips re tourist visa USA.

Ahhh... malaking bagay ang nakapagtravel ka na. Nung nainterview ako sa states. Tinanong ako kung anu ano na ang napuntahan ko outside of Phils. Sinabi ko ung mga napuntahan ko. Ang hindi tinanong kung may pera ako to support myself. Tinanong lang sweldo ko. I asked him back ... "Is that good?". Ngumiti lang ang Consul tjen boom! Ang dapat tandaan number 1 NEVER EVER EVER LIE!!!

Hi guys, my last travel was the Yr 09 and It was an official trip and official visa (red passport). But I didn't go for an interview and I just got everything as drop and go. Went to the US and went back home. Question is my dob is not matching with my original dob (date of birth). Plus on-line they're asking if it's my 1st time to apply to apply for a visa? My situation is my passport is expiring on Dec2021 pero nabutasan na siya ng DFA kasi nagparenew ako after ko magpaschedule ng visa interview. Until now, I haven't received my new passport. Never had a travel history outside PH ever. Applied for a multiple entry schengen right away on the 1st time. I was approved. Perhaps because i had a profitable business at that point.

I think one important question is: if you got denied, will that reason be noted down in the embassy forever? If so, if you got denied first time attempt, you'll never be able to get accepted na?

Hi Vins and Yosh. Question lang. Baka sakaling alam niyo sagot. Nagapply ako ng visa sa japan last week. Thursday to be specific. May guarantor ako which is my tita and asawa niyang japanese. Wala pa kaming history na nadeny. Pero mejo kabado lang ako kasi yung passport ng tita ko kaka-renew lang last 2019 is walang pirma niya. Tho may ilan pang IDs dun such as alien card at may iba pa. Pero nung chineck sa agency is ok naman daw. Ang kaso hindi ko natanong nung time nayun. Pwede ba maging rason yun na madeny ang visa application ko?

If you have a Canadian visa, easier to get US visa. But ironically, Canada always deny you if you don’t have US visa. I was very lucky to get Canadian visa without appearance and when I apply for a US visa, automatically approved even if I have previously been denied a US visa first time I applied during my twenties. Kaya it’s a big help in acquiring an Australian visa. Australian visa is super strict.

Na denied po ako sa china visa po.maaari pa po ba ako ng makaapply ulit kasi po sponsor po ako ng bf ko sa china pero kasama ko po siya ngayon at turista lang siya dito.

Actually, minsan naman, trip-trip lang ng consul. I remember, when I applied for a US visa noon ang unang sinabi sa akin ni US consul, :I have problems with you because you come from the Philippines." Haha! But I was already living and working in Japan for 8 years na at that time. :) Noong mga panahong iyon, naka-travel na ako sa UK, Norway at may job na babalikan sa Japan. :) Pakiramdam ko, na-discriminate lang talaga ako. How about there is clerical error? Example you give accurate details for the travel agency,during the fill up the application all entry are correct but when the DS-160 submit and print there are some clerical error?

Hi mga sir. asked lang ako mai posible bah ma refused ang visa ko or ma rejected? Kasi diko nasagot yung tawag ng german embassy para sa interview, kasi yung interview is thru call. Kasi sabi ng VFS 5 to 10 working days, noon wendsday tumawag sila 8:45am at nacheck ko yung phone ko 8:50 am yung time na yun is nasa restroom ako at yung phone ko is sa kitchen ko nilagay. documents ko, mga requirements is completo naman.
