*KEEP Yo Hair! Get 50% Off Your 1st Order From Keeps! ▸ **www.keeps.com/ideal* If we were to give you $10k.. which Ideal car would you snag from this list?
None from your list those are all turds and why would you want to mod anything after 1996 with OBD2? Id go 95 and older. If you gave me 10k id buy well I already have the car a 93 sc300 but I'd buy the alternative power plant Borg Warner s366 turbo, injectors and and get to wrenching.
@@yournamehere4171 I was here for the first fast and the furious too but what does that have to with anything I wasn't even talking about you in the first place. But go ahead and get that Bummer and bring it to the shop let's fix those oil leaks and brittle hoses and bring it back when that electric water pump fails.
@@yournamehere4171 so you must be in your late 60s early 70s if you been wrenching on cars since before I was a gleam in my daddy's eyes? Damn you should know then those cars on that list are a gold mine for a real technician so in realistically you just a parts replacer that works for one of them chain shops that end up bringing the car or referring the customer to see me when you can't figure it out and "don't have the tools or equipment" to fix the car.
i got my 05 sti for 7k... thats way cheaper then most people pay for a base model wrx... my point is u can always find a good deal if your patient and constantly look and get a little lucky.
@@IdealMediaChannel Its been one of my dream cars since i was a teenager. So its nice to actually own it. Its surreal to me everytime I see it, Im still in awe that I actually own a sti. I dont make alot of money, so im extremely grateful to have a car thats worth this much money and is such an iconic vehicle at the same time. Im going to take it back to stock and keep it garage kept.
Definitely recommend getting RSX Type S because they are lots of aftermarket brands, cheap, and reliable. Now yes, he mentioned about 3rd gear pop out and grind problem but that is very easy to fix by doing a transmission fluid flush and upgrade to Redline MT-90 transmission fluid. Genuine transmission fluid is too thin so that’s the reason why you get 3rd gear pop out. I put Redline MT-90 and since then, I had no gear pop out or grind and it’s been about little over a year since I installed it.
The Hyundai Genesis is probably the best car on this list. There is so much stuff you can do to it from a massive wing to straight pipes. Brad is such a genius
@@MartinGarcia-iz7ws I mean yeah but. You dont see many females with a mans touch and love for cars. Meaning a female would not want straight pipes and a big ass wing.
Slip a 2010 Taurus SHO into one of these vids 365hrs powers awd w/ mad tuning capability...🤷🏽 It’s just a thought 💭 Love your vids homie keep up the good work💯💯
A well thought out and customized Infiniti always turns my head. Especially, if they are done right. It’s one smooth and balanced ‘canvas’ to work with. But if its my money.... it would have to be the Porsche. After all it’s about the drive, not just the look(s). Thanks for another entertaining video.
Lined up a g37s to review this week... one of my favorite cars for sure and it can definitely be modded tastefully! but we're both P car guys... so i agree w you haha! thx for watching!
Snatched myself a clean 04 Acura rsx Type s that looks like the red one in the vid but mine got a wing and for the low price of 4k not to mention it only has 40k miles
Fried egg Porshes are some of my dream cars, and I'm glad I can find one, a Boxter, under 10k! Keep doing what videos you're doing ideal media! They are great!
When I was looking for a car a few months back I was looking at g35,g37, 335i, and a Mazdaspeed 3. Ended up getting a mazdaspeed3 for 6.2k with around 121k miles.
In the next best first vehicle video can you please tell us the common issues the car might have and also rate the reliability, comfort, and performance.
This is a comment from a 335i owner. Listen, for these many years the 335i was critisized many times about reliability. But I can say this. If you truly want a modern 2jz, maintain it, give some love and you will have enjoyment for a very long period of time. This 3 series IS a keeper. The newer ones are meeeh with looks and technical issues. Get the e92 while you still can for cheap. Imagine if this car would set foot on Fast and the furious franchise, then the price would skyrocket as much as the supra.
You generally wanna look for the older wrx’s like 2002-2007 wrx because back then they were made better and in my opinion they look cooler and I like working on cars so I don’t think it’s that bad to get a high mileage 2002-2007 wrx and do work on it like engine/transmission replacement and mods
Content is real good this time, I'm happy there isn't a McLaren or ferrari or Lamborghini shown. Affordable and under 10k should make more videos like this. Make a video on ricer mods too.
How about 1998-2007 Subaru Legacy wagon ? $8k include shipping from Japan. You got EJ20, Turbo, 4WD, MT or Sport AT! Sports and Familly car in 1 pack !!!
I know you want to put the best cars on this list , but the vast majority of good g37s go fo well above 10k more like 13-15 k unless you want a high mileage or it’s been in an accident. So I think it’s predecessor ,the g35, is the better option. It looks better and has the same engine but it’s slightly smaller with a 3.5L instead of a 3.7L. And you can get a great one for 8-10k
Hey Brad, im trying to figure out if I should get a BMW Z4, or Porsche Boxter. Im looking for something that not too complicated to work on, and not too expensive on parts. Let me know what you think. Also going to add that I am a teen, so im taking insurance costs into account
Something like a 4th gen acura tl would be nice since the 280hp honda engine is reliable and moderately easy to work on. And just don't bother with the bmw or porsche the price to keep them running alone would make you broke
'07-'15 Infiniti G37 '96-'04 Porsche 986 Boxster '05-'14 Ford Mustang GT 2nd & 3rd Gen Subaru WRX '06-'11 BMW 335i '02-'04 Acura RSX Type-S '09-'16 Hyundai Genesis Coupe My choice is the Subaru WRX...
Got my Saturn Ion Redline with Recaro seats, supercharged 2.0L, single owner for 1500 bucks. 0-60 faster than the RSX type S, reliable little car with gm parts shared with the cobalt SS which I think could’ve been on this list as well.
Since I already have a procharged crowd killer, I'd take the AWD WRX, Hawkeye would be Ideal, but the blob would work. The BMW 335I N54 would certainly be fun, but Im afraid of that Deutsch reliability
I can personally say that the type-s is the best low priced fwd jdm car, 300k+ and i still did pulls every day and track days and it was solid no problems at all
Would also recommend a bmw 128, comes in cabriolet (which is what I have), purchased in Canada at 140,000kms for $11,000 cad. Owner for 2 years only minor headaches 😅
Seems like a BMW 135i would fit well on this list - sure, you had the 3-series but the 1-series is more sports car like: smaller, lighter, less common. I have a faster car, but I've toyed with the idea of getting a 135i as a fun daily. Same modding potential as the 335 too!
Got my 09 G37 in feb this year in escondido for 6400 from a guy around my age said he was using the money for down payment on a work truck. I was happy as hell when i got it lol.
Well it’s not a “sports car” but I just bought a 2003 mercury marauder under 5k and I added 2k to restoration and I got a perfect marauder with nitrous and man is it fun
Why do WRX owners think their 200hp car is always worth 5-10k more than its actual value. I see a lot with 177k miles 2002 WRX 15k$$ firm.. WTF. I bought a 335i with 90k miles for 7500. Who in the hell would spend double that for a 18 year old WRX with 180k+ miles...
