Ik this isn't relevant but can we acknowledge how dumb Dawnpelt is for accusing Jayfeather of killing Flametail. Like none of his own WARRIOR clanmates tried to help him but a BLIND MEDICINE CAT from a different clan did. If he wanted to kill Flametail, why would he risk his own life to do so? God that was such a dumb assumption, and I can't get over the other clans would believe it, even Flametail, that really annoyed me.

I feel like thunder and violet should be further back, while it's incredibly rushed, at least it isn't toxic... And as for lionblaze fantasies, I think he was jumping the gun a bit, but I know plenty of people, who dream of having kids in general. I wouldn't say that's a red flag personally. He also doesn't pressure cinderheart into having kits like SOME OTHER TOMS WE KNOW!!!!

I think one important thing that should be noted about TigerDove also is that Dovewing was still a young apprentice when the relationship started while Tigerheart was a full grown warrior. There was never a time when their apprenticeships overlapped. That has always made my skin crawl.

If you read Squirelflight's Hope, you'll now that Tigerstar is not only nasty to Dovewing, but to outsiders as well. He wanted the Sisters out as fast as possible, even though their leader was PREGNANT just so Skyclan could move and he could have the land he gave to SkyClan back. Why are all Tigerstar clones bad?

Blackclaw and Mistystar. MOST of his on screen moments are him being mean to her or planning to undermine her with Hawkfrost. what the fuck dude?

tbh I was shocked as hell when I realized Tawnypelt had a mate, she just NEVER seemed like the type to have one. She struck me as a solo cat with a strong determined personality and a "I don't need help" type of attitude, idk if that's just me but it just seemed out of character for me, I thought she was going to be Shadowclan's leader at some point

I agree with the anger with Jagged Peak and his mate. I read that part with Mothflight and almost yelled out loud that they had also moved to Shado clan to have their kits before Gray Wind died and I must have missed some short story of them going back to wind clan. So Jagged peak was tribe cat, Sky clan, then Wind clan, then Shadow clan, to then go back to Wind clan. He flipped sides more than a leaf in a storm.

.... I cheered when Onestar died lol and I only felt sad for Tawnypelt when Rowanclaw dies because she was obviously heartbroken over it. Poor girl deserved so much better in so many ways

Cool museum piece, bad ship. 4: The Bismarck: German warship in WWII that was way to big and expensive to be practical. Sure, it could pack a punch, but it gets way more credit than it deserves. 3: The Quinquereme: These expensive ancient Roman ships sure look cool, until you get outmaneuvered and sunk by smaller ships. 2: The entire Mongol navy: I mean, common. You build two fleets, and lose both in a storm. 1: Slave ships: ....I don't think this one needs an explanation Anyway, least favorite ships out of the way, look forward to the video! The Erins have stated, point plank and without hyperbole, that they love “Doomed loves” which in this case means that the lovers can never truly be happy. Be it death, an abusive relationship, or any other number of things; these cats make each other happy, and we can’t have that, there needs to be something in the way. The only turkey happy couple in the whole series is Ravenpaw and Barley, and I feel like they would have ended up badly too, if the Erins thought they could get away with doing that to a gay couple. Not to make assumptions, but these are the writings of old spinsters who are bitter about their own failed love lives and just want to be sure no one else can be happy.

Honestly for Violet Dawn, I rushed into a relationship after I had fell in love but realizing it wasn’t going anywhere. Then this older man who was a family friend had a major crush on me and kept acting just like the creepy cat. When my boyfriend met me and he had been broke up with I saw him almost as a freedom to escape with. But we been together 5 years so it worked out perfectly. Lion blaze and Cinderheart just confused me. It could have been so much better. SO much potential

honestly, when you look at it, onestars development did make sense. he was changed because of stress and peer pressure after becoming leader at the last minute. he wasn't even the deputy, and half his clan was ready to kill him. i actually think it's nice to see a character that doesn't just become better, because we all have ups and downs. he was sort of too perfect before he became leader. i also think tigerheart and dovewing started off pretty good, where dovewing was in a position where she had no one to talk to. the fate of the clans was on her shoulders from early apprenticehood. she couldn't relate to anyone, and even when she could literally hear when cats in other clans were in danger, she was told not to do anything. but then comes around tigerheart, who tells her her he does relate to her. this is an amazing start, but unfortunately, it went downhill from there.

I definitely feel like 99% of main relationships in this series are under developed and rushed. I don’t care for most of them and I feel bad for the friend zoned toms that never move on..Thrushpelt deserved better and had better options. Bumblestripe still hasn’t moved on. I do have a soft spot for FirexSand but am just as confused as them constantly throwing Spotted in the mix. Let her love him in Starclan sure, but the scene between them when she dies again was unacceptable. I am also miffed that we haven’t gotten a reunion scene with them in Starclan, I’d love a novella of Sand to see how her opinion of Fire began-changed-and how she felt after he died.

I don't think Cinderheart being upset about Lionblaze's powers was forced. I mean, anyone would be upset if someone they loved would be throwing themselves into battle without thinking twice. Lionblaze handled his power foolishly, imo, and didn't really think about how she would feel if she had to deal with this every time they had a battle. I actually really like LionxCinder, and appreciate how they name their kits after their deceased ancestors. I don't think it's as bad as anyone says it is, and they HAVE developed enough, from the beginning mind you. They also both go on walks together at night, and have mentored Dovepaw and Ivypaw together. The only thing I dislike about this couple is the stupid Cinderpelt reincarnation thing, it wasn't fair of Cinderheart to deal with that, and Jayfeather should have listened to Leafpool and kept quiet about it. Other than that, I like LionxCinder. Cinderheart matured later on, and Lionblaze shows his softer side with her.

Thank you SO much for talking about Jagged Peak and Holly. Never before have I seen someone critize him or his relationship with her before. The two's attitude towards Gray Wing made me so upset that I couldn't keep reading A Forest Divided and had to pick it up later. They're my two least favorite characters, and finally SOMEONE talks about them.

The Erin’s brought the OneWhisker Syndrome over to Survivor’s [Dogs] as well. When the second series of Survivor’s [The Gathering Darkness] came out, I was super excited but also very nervous when I realized it was in Storm’s point of view, and though her character was amazing, they butchered Lucky’s in the process to make her have ‘another’ issue to overcome. He was no longer the clever, reasonable leader he was shown to be in the first series, yet they blamed this change on him having children. However, Storm and her siblings were practically his pups to care and take responsibility of, and he didn’t have his personality warped in the process of that. I remembers thinking, “This pov change was a bad idea.. I want to know what Lucky is thinking and what the Frick changed.” It was honestly terrible and caused many face palms while I was wondering why on Earth Lucky was acting like that. OneStar Syndrome summed it up though.

I'm so incredibly glad that I'm not the only one that saw Raggedstar and Yellowfang's relationship as abusive, honestly for awhile I thought I was the only one that thought that.

I 100% agree with this, It was so bland and boring, and I didn’t even know it was a romance until I read Firestar’s Quest. It was just Firepaw thinking she looks pretty and that’s it. Now it’s a romance. Just a bland, fanservice ship that exists solely for drama and to move the plot forward. (6) RowanTawny I honestly don’t have any opinion on this, lol. But you bring up some good points :) (5) Thunder & Violet Dawn Oh. My. God. You read my MIND. Even 8 year old me when I read DOTC was like "yeah, this was wayyy too rushed-" which says something. It was so bland and out-of-nowhere and had no time to develop. I would’ve liked to see that he was rejected by Violet Dawn due to her grief, and in Thunderstar’s novella that they actually got time to develop and get together at the end of it. A full novella letting it develop would help so much (while still containing the plot of the story) (4) Cinderblaze/LionCinder I agree with you, overall, it was just very rushed and I don’t have much to say. Should’ve gotten more time to develop. (3) JayMoon No opinion, like RowanTawny. But yeah, it proves how forgetful it was. (2) JaggedHolly Hhh, I have A LOT to say about this ship. I got so FURIOUS when Jagged Peak went OUT OF HIS WAY to talk badly about Gray Wing’s breathing, when he too has faced ableism with this twisted leg. And who was there for him when it happened? GRAY WING. Yes, Gray Wing said a few rude things to Jagged, but that does NOT excuse him being such a jerk? Gray Wing just was scolding him and such, while Jagged Peak was being straight up ABLEIST and BRATTY. I always have hated Holly. She made it seem like Gray Wing didn’t try hard enough to help Jagged Peak, yet without him he probably wouldn’t be alive? Lol. And they were so rude about MothFlight’s kits, even after she JUST got over her grief and her kits were the last she had of her DEAD MATE. LIKE HOLLY, SHUT UP ABOUT THEM BEING HALF SKYCLAN/FARM-CAT YOURE A LITERAL ROGUE. JAGGED PEAK, YOU WERE BORN IN THE MOUNTAINS. YOU ARENT EVEN CLAN-BORN. I would’ve liked a storyline that is like "love doesn’t always work out, it’s not always gonna be perfect", but no. We got a bland love story which was just forced for a storyline. I really hated Tigerheart’s Shadow as well. I really liked Spiresight and the rest of his group, but the book itself was just.. ugh. I like the entertaining traveling, the plot is fine, but it’s just- THE ROMANCE SUCKS. And can we talk about how Tigerheart was trying to force his religion on the group? The group that was letting them stay? The group that was FEEDING them? LIKE BRUH. They completely turned Bumblestripe’s character too. Like he was needy at first but he was never straight up TOXIC and abusive- like UGH. Yeah, that’s it. I might add on later

I only just now started reading the new prophecy and heard that Ferncloud had a kit named Hollykit, I had to take a double check...

15:00 Bro was defending his leader, Russetfur was killing Firestar and continued to do so. Yet everyone started despising Lionblaze when he... reciprocated that violence. I've always hated that scene because of that. The Shadowclan cats kept bitching about how he killed her when Russetfur drew the first blood.

My top 3 least favorite Couples: 3. Rootspring and Bristlefrost. This relationship starts off at Rootpaw having a major crush on Bristlsefrost. It's cute and it is perfectly fine, but what I don't like it how when Rootspring finally confesses, Bristlefrost returns the feelings. After literally showing no interest in him and hardly thinking about him. They promise not to become mates because it against the code, then turn around and flirt with each other for a whole book. Bristlefrost's love for Rootspring came out of nowhere, and after the whole Stemleaf deal, it was kinda made clear that Bristlefrost didn't need a mate. The reason this is at number 5 though is because they actually have a very healthy relationship. 2. Spottedpaw and Thistleclaw. No. Just no. Who the heck thought this was a good idea. Thistleclaw was a full grown warrior with a mate and a kit before Spottedpaw was even born. He began showing signs of liking her when she was a KIT. He afterwards began continously treating her with kindness, and telling her to do things she shouldn't. He confesses to her and Spottedpaw expresses that she's only an apprentice and they can't be mates, and it is made to show that she is uncomfortable. He shows major red flags and Spottedpaw isn't bothered even after Thistleclaw tells her to tell nobody about their "love" and about meeting at night. After Spottedpaw finds out the truth that Thistleclaw is in the Dark Forest, she becomes a medicine cat just to avoid becoming mates with him. It's messed up. 1. Bramblestar and Squirrelflight. I shouldn't have to say anything. Bramblestar's a jerk. Squilf deserves better.

Why did the Erins decide to make Cinderpelt/Firestar canon, at least on her part. I see them as father and daughter. Her having feelings for him just makes me want to throw up. I hate it when mentors and apprentices get together. I always see as mentors and apprentices as having a parent kid kind of relationship.

You should have not counted Firestar x Spottedleaf in this list considering it never got to be seen as a real couple ship.

Personally disagree about onestar not having a reason for a personality change. Its implied that the pressure of leadership changed him and he did have a progression of becoming worse over time, though not the best developed. Onestar was scared of being seen as weak for alling with thinderclan after the mudclaw incident. I'm not saying this makes him a good character or that he has the best development. I just dont think his change was random, I do think other characters are victim to random personality changes (Especially broken code).

So what I’m hearing is... I don’t have to feel guilty for Rowanclaw by shipping Tawnypelt and Squirrelflight anymore! :D

Man I can’t hate DoveXTiger just because they were atleast something different. I’m so sick of the forbidden loves never working out because someone dies or they break up, I wanted to see the couple choose each other for once. So even if I hated them before tigerhearts shadow and on, I’m atleast glad it’s different lol

I also think that tigerstar and Sasha are on this list , because he 1. Lied about his nature/ origin 2. Treated her like doo when she wasn’t really happy with his decisions 3. Literally forbid her everything she loved and liked THIS IS A SIGN THAT SASHA ISINABADRELATIONSHIP

I must admit, I disagree with you on the Dovewing x Tigerheart ship. Yes, it has certainly been dodgy and badly-written, but MOST of the arguments you presented can be argued against, too. 1. (Tigerheart stole catmint from ThunderClan.) Tigerheart stole the catmint to save his Clan from a dangerous illness. Yes, it was wrong to steal, but wouldn't leaving his family and friends to die be wrong too? 2. (He tried to take Ivypool hostage to get catmint.) Ivypool attempted to murder his brother's ghost for her own gain, it's no surprise that he dislikes her. I do not think that he intended for her to be hurt (it's been a while since I read the books though) but instead to get what he needed to save his Clan. 3. (He accused Jayfeather of killing Flametail on Dawnpelt's words.) Dawnpelt is his sister, of course he's going to believe his sister's account of his brother's death rather than a cat in a different Clan. 4. (He played the victim.) Yeah, he did so some bad things. And he did play the woe-is-me card too. I can't argue against this. 5. (Tigerheart became a Gary Stu.) That doesn't mean a ship is bad? It's bad writing of course, but that doesn't make the character immediately awful. 6. (Dovewing left Bumblestripe for him.) From the start, Bumblestripe sucked. When Dovewing apologised to him at the start of the arc for not liking him, he gets angry at her. He's possessive and creepy all the while, and Dovewing gets pressured from other cats, including Blossomfall, to be in a relationship with him. Overall, I completely understand if you disagree with me, but I think that you left out some rather important information in your arguments. Not to mention, the time Dovewing and Tigerheartstar spent together as mates after Dovewing left ThunderClan proves them to be a supportive and loving couple.

Excuse me, I love the Tiger x Dove ship and I think it’s ok for anybody to like it. But saying those who don’t think the ship is bad just for your gratification is rude. We have rights to our own opinion, like Bright Guardian Akira! He supports the ship of Tiger x Dove for his own reason. But you are saying we lie to ourselves for liking it? That hurts dude. Not all of us have to or will analyze ships and Warriors like this. Please be more careful with what you say, as you can stir up the toxicity of this community.

I'd like to point out that Onestar had his reasons for becoming hostile towards TC. He had to prove his loyalty because his clanmates were like "Oh youre just gonna bend over backwards for Firestar and now we're basically Thunderclan 2". He had something to prove, it wasnt derailing his character, and it actually makes him a lot deeper than that.

Spottedleaf x Firestar: agreed; this ship was doomed from the start Rowanclaw x Tawnypelt: I don’t think this couple should have been on the list. They were never really outliers and didn’t really show that many times in the series. You said it yourself, we don’t know if Tawnypelt and Rowanclaw actually had a bad relationship or not. I do understand why you put it on the list though Thunder x Violet Dawn: There seems to be a problem with almost every couple in Dawn of the Clans; they move too quickly. Like with Clear Sky and Storm or Grey Wing and Slate, Thunder and Violet Dawn fell in love way too soon. Thunder fell in love with her before even before he talked to her. Yes, I can accept a little crush, but he full blown wanted to protect her with his life even though he hardly knew her, which just isn’t how love works. They then admitted they wanted to have kits together THREE MINUTES AFTER THEY MET!! I do like them in Thunderstar’s Echo so they get a slight pass I guess. Lionblaze x Cinderheart: Goddamn, I hate this couple so bad. I agreed full heartedly with what you said. They are just so awful and I hate it. Half Moon x Jayfeather: Again, I just hate it. As you said in part 1, Briarlight and him would have been better. But no, Jayfeather, despite not knowing shit about Half Moon, wants to leave his clan behind to be with her. That is so selfish. The whole time travel thing was hella confusing all around and this just made it worse. Jagged Peak x Holly: I actually love this couple! Holly was the only cat to show support in him and actually saw past his injury. Yes, even Grey Wing didn’t really support him. I don’t think they should have been this high. It was more of small outbursts of their CHARACTERS and not their relationship. If you think about them in Moth Flight’s Vision in THEIR point of views instead, I don’t think it was that bad. Warrior Cats HATE outsiders normally. Dishonorable mentions: Raggedstar x Yellowfang: They weren’t a good couple, but it was entertaining to see how much of an asshole he was. Tom and Turtle Tail is the same. Assholes! Yes! Drama! Tigerheart x Dovewing: I hated these two from the beginning. It fucking sucks, just really. In Dovewing’s Silence, it seemed like Dovewing would be with Bumblestripe, which was a much better option. But no, they went with Tigerheart? That asshole? Sppsh! Over all, I somewhat agree. I probably would have added Oakheart x Bluestar in place of Jagged Peak x Holly because of how generic it was, but other then that, nice ranking! I don’t think Rootspring x Brisltefrost belongs on this list, even if you did read Darkness Within. They were kinda cute together lol.

If you consider Spottedleafs heart to be cannon, which I do not because they completely re-wrote Thistleclaw to be some sort of kitty cat child predator(again, something they said several times they didn't do on purpose), then you release that Spottedspots is literally a case of "a victim continuing their abusers behavior" with her weird obsession with Firecat. How do you write abusive relationships "accidentally" while also getting every aspect of what really happens in those abusive relationships correct?

FireXSpotted sucking is why I actually decided to host a MAP about them and perhaps write a fanfic based on it. It's, I guess, an AU where Spottedleaf and Firepaw bond and forge a relationship before her death. Just a bit of fluff that if the Erins were gonna push the ship.

Personally, I don't see Star Flower x Clear Sky as a "fantastic romance". I hate Star Flower with every fiber of my being, and I was honestly made uncomfterable with their relationship. He was litteraly old enough to be her dad and she was his SONS EX. Like what the hell? It made me so uncomfterable and she was super quick to try and get in between his legs. Like after two chapters she was suddenly pregnant Edit:I do agree that dove x tiger was the worst. As much as I hate Dove, I hated how Tiger treated her. He was the absolute worst. She was honestly so stupid- chasing after him like that. She could have easily walked away from that dumpster fire

Cinderheart was the only way I survived Lionblaze’s chapters. I think Tiger x Dove was bad in OOTS. But I think their romance and Tigerheart are getting a redemption in the new ark. I would probably say the worst couple, that I can think of, is Blossomfall and Thornclaw. They had no development and Thornclaw just left her and ThunderClan without even caring. For how bad Blossomfall is, Thornclaw is ten times worse. I don’t like Thornclaw, as you can tell. These are just my thoughts and I respect all opinions.

I really like Graywing a lot because I also have a breathing issue, so jagged and holly can go to a cliff fall of the edge while being eaten alive and falling on a sharp, splintery rock and go to the dark forest to starve until they disappear into nothing but to forever to be looked down apon for being a menace to society.

Dovewing was an apprentice when she and Tigerheart got together and while I believe Tigerheart might have been a young warrior unlike Thistleclaw (who is described as a senior warrior) it's still kinda creepy

I kinda thought Mapleshade and Appledusk were gonna be here... guess not but doesn't mean I can't dislike the relationship between them

I agree with on most of the stuff in this video, but not Jayfeather and Halfmoon. Lol I personally thought it was tragic and touching, and (because the cats have emotions like humans) for a moment he selfishly wanted to care for himself and his love rather than his clan, but, in this time where he wasn't thinking clearly, Rock helped him to understand, because he knew what he was going through. In my opinion this was actually a good character builder for Jayfeather. It taught him to put others first and let go of his love because it was ultimately the best for every cat. I'm not saying this to argue, so pls, people who disagree, don't get mad, I'm just stating my opinion and you are welcome to yours. : )

I was so happy when the ancient cats stuff ended and Jayfeather moved on from it- At this point, I'm sick of Thunderclan med cats breaking or considering breaking the medicine cat code and turning their backs on their clan- I was honestly proud of Alderheart when he chose to let Velvet go instead of causing more unnecessary drama- I really hope that Jayfeather and Alderheart just stay single-pringles their whole lives- And I'm usually a sucker for forbidden romances, but even I think that the "med cat falls in love and breaks the warrior code" trope is overused at this point-
