I really wished you presented how they actually work when they are on the phone itself. Like - having a pull strap is nice feature but will magnets hold the wallet if I use it while it’s attached to the phone? How actually good the push slot on Andar is when it’s on the phone? Is sliding cards to the left going to remove the wallet from the phone? I think that is important information that is missing here.
The hole in the back I feel like it’s better for me it just cover the cards they don’t show it makes it looks better at least for me and having the option of been able to know where you drop your wallet knowing apple they gonna just make it better overtime.
The bought the Apple wallet but switched to Distil Union one. Having to remove the Apple wallet from phone to get cards out is too much hassle. The distil union one also has full grain leather , one extra card and awesome magnetic pull tab. Major downside is that magnet is weak so if that is important definitely avoid. I actually don’t might the weak magnet and actually sometimes just use the distil union in a separate pocket.
I use the fantom and the apple for the nfc myself. The other disadvantage besides weight of the fantom is that it doesn’t hold business cards. Although it is unique and cool looking
@@clarkedc7822 Thanks for checking in! It is, it's taken a backseat to some new releases and additional videos as we get closer to end of year, but it's in the queue!
@@walletopia I was really rooting for the distil union, myself, because of the leather look and feel and patina but I think I’m starting to be sold on the Peak Design wallet with the stand. Do the Peak Design wallets only have the circular magnetic ring, or do they also have the little line magnet underneath like the Apple MagSafe wallet?
@@kevingruning1362 the peak design wallet works best with their case, but it also works with third party stuff( not peak design cases) the magnet arrey is very similar, but not totally identical. Personally i use the peak design with stand feature and its a game changer
@@sigveisabitch I ended up getting both and comparing. You’re right, the stand is an absolute game changer. It doesn’t add any noticeable bulk for me and can also work as kind of a pop socket, although sometimes the material gets a little annoying in that position. I love this wallet though and when I don’t want it on my phone or in my pocket I can slap it on my fridge and always know where it is 😂 Little bonus, this does not have RFID so hotel keys can go in there and you don’t have to take them out to unlock your door which is nice.
The Anson Calder wallet doesn't work too well with the IP13 Pro, which has a larger camera hump. Even when I tried using it without a case, it still slightly overlaps with the camera hump. I suspect this won't be a problem with an IP13/IP13 Mini or any of the older IP12 models.
Hi, Mark! Great review as always. Could you review the Compact Wallet from Oliver Co next? I think they’re vegan leather tech is pretty interesting and would really appreciate it.
Still waiting for Mous 3.0 card wallet. They can't give anyone an ETA as to when they will be in stock. Seems they are solely focused on the MagSafe wallets and if you buy their overpriced case for an older iPhone or any Android you're SOL.
