@@eval7952 when the car is in reverse and mirror selector is set to R.... Then the right side mirror dips down to see the curb... If you leave the mirror selector knob in the middle or in L position everything remains the same and reverse has no effect on mirrors. Very useful feature.
@@eval7952 feel free to send me a private message. I have plenty to share. I have a few other tweaks to show you too. My car is a 15 TDI 6 speed manual. Oil temp in dash Quantity be of liters until full Cheers. OBDEleven is cheap and we'll worth it. I ordered directly from. Their site.
The close all windows with rain is a nifty feature too. If you have the rain sensing wipers, you can leave your windows and sunroof slightly open on a warm day for example, and if it rains while you are not there, the sensor will detect the rain and shut all the windows and sunroof.

Oh that’s what the rain sensing wipers do. I got a 2019 gti rabbit edition and it has that feature and I thought when I’m driving and it starts to rain that the wipers go off on their own but they never did. So this is what the feature is for. That’s cool but I never leave my windows open.
You don’t need to do any coding to use the drl’s with the fog lights. You just gotta grip the light switch/knob pretty hard when it’s on the parking lights position and pull on it until it pops out. It’ll feel like you broke it, but it’s fine. I’ve done it so much with my switch that pulls out with hardly any effort, just like when the switch is in the auto or low beam position
Hey, so I lowered my MK7 Alltrack. I have the light package but my headlights are throwing way short from when it was stock ride height. Using the OBDeleven, how do I change the throw height without knocking the lights off track?
I unplugged my soundaktor a week after i bought mine. Its been 3 years now and I just bought a new obd11 pro today lol. I might plug it in and just disable it via the soundaktor so no soft codes.
In México people do that a lot when there's no fog at all, sometimes they use it like normal beams, they don't even use the principal beams I hate when people don't use their cars correctly, and when they have the fog lights on they always keep the rear fog light on and it's brighter than the brake lights, that's annoying as hell bro I end up almost completely blind when I get home.
I don’t have a lighting package car so my only light switches are on or off but when they’re off the fogs come on with the DRLs based on the handbrake. When I turn my low beam on I still have to pull out the switch to use fogs
I’ve been holding off on video in motion because I’ve read that it only plays DVD video as opposed to streaming videos through your phone. Have you heard this? Have have you gotten any feedback after this video was made regarding peoples experience with the video in motion enabled?

@3:50 Could you explain this a little more? I've tried to get this on my mk7 and have been unsuccessful. I Would love to run the fogs w/drl, its one of the reasons i bought the obd11(funny ass stranger things reference too bro i lol'd)
@@LucasHuang Lukas Huang dude thank you so much i bought this shit a year ago just to do that and i just now got it thanks to you. I couldnt find where it says drl so i had to look it up in german to find the right setting. Its down below. steps 3 and 4 you change them from "nicht aktive" -> to "tagfahrlicht" That got it working for me. Tagfahrlicht = Daytime running lights
Do you need WiFi or Cellular signal for the android phone to control the obd11? Or just Bluetooth? I have a iPhone and wanted to know if I could use my old android
+Marcos Fernandez should’ve mentioned that. You need internet (WiFi/LTE/etc) and then also blutooth your Android to the OBD. I’m using a Samsung galaxy S3 and connect it to the hotspot on my iPhone and it works fine.
@@michaelcarman4672 not late at all, i still didn't figure it out :D i saw the ambiant light setting, it's ON but it's not working, i even tried to activate some settings in the long code but nothing.. i gave up and totally forgot it, i will remove the door panel when i can to check if there is a light or not.
I mean... You can hate on it all you want. Kindly consider some people don't want to have a obnoxious car that sounds like a wet fart ripping up and down the street. I very much enjoy my GTI with a rather quiet contemporary exhaust note. And the soundicator only adds to the driving experience. It also doesn't pipe I'm exhaust notes, it compliments the engine notes with a vibration note, so it never really sounds fake, Understandably if you don't like it. Their should be a option to 100% turn it off.
It’s funny you say that cause as of right now reading this, I’m somewhat tired of my catless dp with muffler delete. Kinda want to go back to stock and be a decent human being again
@@LucasHuang yeah, I lived thr loud and proud lifestyle for theast few years. It's Kinda nice now to enjoy a stage 2ish gti pushing 300whp but still extremly conservative.
