Love it Angela, thank you!....off to try and find myself some black spruce and geranium (from your other video). You mentioned about shifting neural pathways to get out of fight, flight... I'd love to hear more from you about this. I understand the basics but keen to hear some of your perspectives and ways of achieving this. x

If you like the neural pathway work, you'll probably really like the nervous system resetting tools. I have a few videos on that. If you're looking for more on the oils and neural pathways though, let me know! Thanks for your comment and for being here!

I have had adrenal insufficiency for around 7 years. I've had to be steroid dependent all that time. My endocrinologist and I are slowly going to taper me off the steroids. This sounds like a great oil to have with me as I go through this process. Thank you so much for sharing.❤

Thank you Angela! This is so helpful. ❤ I am turning to essential oils a lot lately, and I wonder if you could offer some information on how often or how long to use an oil? Is this best done intuitively? I am thinking about this for long term issues with menopause.
@angela_warburton
@angela_warburton Месяц назад
Ah thank you for this question - I realized that I didn't actually address this in the video so I'm so glad you asked! For real therapeutic benefits, it should be used daily (1-2 x depending on individual/intensity of symptoms) for an ongoing period (1-6 months). Again, it will vary person to person but ongoing use will have the most significant results and change. One can also use the oils intuitively as well but for adrenal support, blood sugar and insulin pathway support etc, it's best used long term. Thanks for your comment and being here!

I love your channel and I have subscribed. Can we mix the geranium with the black spruce and carrier oil to get the benefits of both or do they need to be used separately?
@angela_warburton
@angela_warburton Месяц назад
Great question! You could combine them - oil blends can be wonderful to work with and powerful. I might suggest doing them individually as well. You can try both - using them together and then doing them on their own, separated by a few hours and see how that feels. It can be so personal so I suggest listening to your intuition and trusting what you feel /what feels good and right to you :). I hope that helps!

Thank you Angela. My essential oil collection is growing! Love the idea of tree oils as I feel a very strong affinity to trees! With the geranium oil acupressure spot you shared in a previous video, I’ve been rubbing it in my instep which really helps, but was the spot the spleen 4 as shown in your diagram please? Very helpful to see a diagram by the way. Do you use these two oils at separate times. Many thanks again, it’s wonderful the education you are giving here….🙏🏻

Great question……was wondering the same thing……do we need both black spruce and geranium separately or are they both good for cortisol/adrenal health?
@angela_warburton
@angela_warburton Месяц назад
Thanks for your comment. So spleen 4 is on that inside arch of the foot. You can go directly on that point or you can apply it to the arch in general as the skin is very thin there and it absorbs in very well. Hope that answers that. And regarding usage together or separate - you can try both! See what feels better to you. Blends can work well. I tend to use them individually but it doesn't mean it won't work together. I hope that helps :). And I'm so glad you're enjoying the videos!

For the HPA axis and adrenal support, I prefer black spruce, but geranium has an indirect effect as well as it supports insulin and sugar balance, estrogen and progesterone balance, and liver function which are all supportive for the stress pathways and adrenals indirectly. Hope that helps :)

@@angela_warburton Thank you, i found a pure black spruce oil from Desert Sage Herbs, the local herbalists blend their own oils. I used it today for a client that was feeling a bit high strung. She calmed down and relaxed immediately. When her treatment was over she remarked how she imagined herself in the cool mountains where the tall pines grow. You see, we are in the hot dry desert of Arizona, and the oil had a cooling effect, too.

Can you combine the black spruce and geranium oils together with a carrier oil?
@angela_warburton
@angela_warburton Месяц назад
Yes you can do that. If working on a specific issue, I tend to use them individually, however, there is no rule for this. I encourage you to listen to your inner guidance and/or try the combination and see how you feel with it. Oil blends are powerful and effective. I hope you enjoy them and please let me know how it goes!
