After watching your recommendation for neroli woods I bought that for myself and I personally feel If Tom Ford had released Neroli Woods as a Neroli Portofino flanker, no one would bat an eye. In some ways, it feels even more Tom Ford-ish than Neroli Portofino does. It's a very linear neroli bomb, with a smooth composition that pushes the classic neroli eau de cologne style in a contemporary and masculine direction. If given a chance I would love to own 79 vintage green from iconic collection. Again your review is upto the point and I appreciate you doing extra work and posting the link from where to buy. Keep rocking and keep going strong Sebastian. Georgia, USA
78 Vintage Green is really good. I blind bought this one and immediately ordered a second bottle after I tried it (i know, a bit impulsive but give the price its a true gem). If you like Hermes Un Jardin line - you will love it.
I love this video ranking your top five, I haven't seen a video talking about all the entire collection before. Neroli Woods sounds the best to me, I love Neroli and I would love to win this fragrance. Philadelphia, PA.
I have tried the Icon collection before and like you, Vintage Green is my favorite as it reminds me of Creed's Green Irish Tweed without the Creed price tag. I reside in Miami, Florida.

Haven’t tried any of these yet. Oud Mosaic and Vintage Green sound the best to me. Since 78 is your number one and I like the sound of Oud, Rose and plum combo. Enjoyed the vid, thanks. Cali ✌🏻
I had a decant of Linen Vetiver that I got from a friend. Loved that scent, it went pretty quickly. I haven't tried any of the ones you have reviewed, but would lean toward Neroli Woods or the Vintage Green. Really enjoy your videos Sebastian. I will be curious to find out what your haul is from your next trip to Europe. Nebraska.
Burlington has many Banana Republic fragrances for about $22 or less. Today I picked up Neroli Woods, because it’s compared to Neroli Portofino by TF. Do you think they are similar? Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Oud Mosaic was a huge disappointment to be honest. Oud is weird because if you aren’t careful it could smell awful. The oud in Oud mosaic makes it smell a little bit like piss. The rest of it reminds me of a standard “musk” smell. I didn’t get the hype.
Oh, wow! I've never tried any scents from Banana Republic! I didn't even realize they had a perfume line! I love how affordable they are. I'd have a hard time choosing just one. I love the description of 90 Pure White. It sounds so clean, fresh and calming. I love tea notes. But, I really like the notes of Oud Mosaic 17. Those spicy notes of saffron and cardamon with the plum and labdanum makes is sound like a really sexy, rich scent. If I'm lucky enough to win, I will do my best to choose between the two. I live in Pennsylvania.
I really like Neroli Wood. Outside of the Icon Collection, l love Classic by Banana Republic! It is weak, but I spray heavily. It is also really unisex.
I’m going to have to re-visit these. I don’t remember smelling tea in Vintage Green last I was in a Banana Republic store. Your description sounds great. Would love to own Cypress Cedar. Wisconsin.
Great video. I would love to try Oud Mosaic. That sounds good. I have the Vintage Green and I love it. I always get complements when I where it. I live in Texas.
I definitely appreciate when you review fragrances for those of us on a budget, and your endorsement means a lot. I am very interested in this line. I am most curious about 90 Pure White and I'm from California.
90 is one of my favorite Fragrances of all time. I get complimented a lot. It's not overbearing at all. It tends to die pretty easy, but God it smells amazing.
Just got Neroli Woods. Good neroli but doesn’t stay on long. I got spoiled by Zegna’s Neroli and Tom Fords. Different price point of course, the longevity is better on those. The smell is just as pleasant with Banana’s version.
I just bought BR Dark Cherry and Amber. I love it for the entire 4 minutes that the scent lasts. And I have a question and I hope you answer it. If I want to find a fragrance similar to one that I already like, do I search by the base notes, since those are the ones that last? My understanding is that the top notes are very fleeting, and what you smell the rest of the day is base notes. I don't know how long the middle notes last. Is this accurate??? Thanks so much.
Base notes last the longest but not always the case. Depends on if you have a dominant top note but generally it's the base notes. I didn't care of the Dark Cherry and Amber. For me it was too boring and people seem to love it. Go figure?
I enjoyed that u highlighted 5 plus 1 frags but gave plenty of detail about each and what u like about them. I haven't tried any. Is 78 Vintage Green similar to Marc Jacob's Men? 90 Pure White, Neroli Woods, and 78 Vintage Green all appeal to me and you make them sound great. Please include me in the giveaway, from CT USA. Should I win I suppose Id choose Neroli Woods, however what u say about 78 Vintage Green compared to Marc Jacob's Men may change that lol. Thanks.
I own a Pure White, Neroli Woods, and Oud Mosaic. Does Pure White not remind you of Byredo Bal D’Afrique? I don’t hear many people say that but it’s very close to my nose.
I loved that described how the fragrances made you feel and how you approached them . Always love hearing the main accords too. I really want a quality neroli fragrance that speaks to me. I think I would go for neroli woods ! M.s usa resident
Absolutely love vintage green and actually got too smell it when a 15ml size bottle was sent free with my 75ml order of Oud mosaic. Love that real hit of green tea you get with it. I have to say I really don’t like Oud mosaic, I’ve tried to like it but I guess it just suffers by comparison with Acqua di parma Oud as a Rose & Oud fragrance. Not the same price bracket I know but I’m just really not a fan of the ‘darkness’ the amber gives, It just comes across (for lack of a better expression) ‘pongy’ in the dry down!
Just picked up Neroli Woods. Oud Mosaic is gorgeous from this line - if lucky you can find them at the rack stores for $20.00. - now to find Vintage Green.
Sebastian, great review of Top 5 Banana Republic Fragrances in the Icon Collection. My favorite two based on your review are 78 VINTAGE GREEN and NEROLI WOODS. For giveaway purposes I would go with 78 Vintage Green because I don't have a Tea and Fig fragrance in my collection. I am from Ohio, USA.
Nevada viewer here. I have watched plenty of your videos in the past so I know you have expensive tastes (lol) and therefore have a sizeable collection of niche quality fragrances. So, if you're singing the praises of a clothing store brand scent, then it's GOT to be good! Haha. And sure enough, since I'd heard all the buzz about Vintage Green, I went out to BR to impulse-buy a bottle and instantly fell under its spell! It really is as great as they say (and I don't say that lightly -- I generally don't like the smell of vetiver / green fragrances)! So, on that note, I am super intrigued by the Oud Mosaic scent that made your Top 3! If it's even CLOSE to the quality of Vintage Green, then I HAVE TO try it!
AL. Never smelled any br frags. The Oud Mosiac 17 seems pretty cool. Although I’m not a rose fan. I’d like to find something that smells like red berries, plum and jasmine like a b&bw foam hand soap my mom got me for Halloween, smells awesome. I find it interesting how you smell your bottles like a cat with your mouth open. 😲😆
Hi Sebastian I think #17 the old Oud and Rose is my pick although 77 sounds good too I love fig I just don’t know if it’d be to green for me. I’ve never tried this house although I was thinking about sampling next time I’m near there bc I’ve heard some good things about some of their fragrances.USA could u do a top fig fragrance video sometime too please
You made the case for 78 Vintage Green so I won't argue. 17 Oud Mosaic is tempting but I worry about the quality of the rose & oud at this price point. Both rose & oud notes / accords can turn nasty if cheaply made. VA
Does Oud Mosaic smell like Raid bug spray? I own Pure White and it is a great gym and office scent for me. I didn't like Green Vintage when I first tried it about year ago or more, but recently tried it again and changed my mind. Unfortunately the store the oultet I was in only had the tester. I choose Green Vintage. California
Great video, thx! Own and love 78 also. Neroli Woods sounds good and similar in heft like Elie Saab Neroli. There Neroli is joined by Jasmin, musk and solar notes to create this slighty sweet, thick Neroli fragrance. FLORIDA
I liked video for covering a new line of fragrances that I didnt know about. Never been in a BR store & closest BR Outlet is 1.5 hours away.😕 I'm discovering my love for Oud and Rose combos (MFK Silk Mood, Noir de Noir), and your description of 17 Oud Mosaic was quite enticing, and that would be my top pick! Thanks so much from Mid Missouri, for another great review!
Was looking into this house. Went by banana republic and sniff a few offers the one that I liked the most was oud mosaic 17 smooth and would buy it especially for the price point :) Oklahoma, USA.
Wow perfect review. I've seen these in discount stores (marshalls, Tj max and Ross) for $29.99. Didn't hear much about the brand. I'll grab them next time for my collection and fragrance rotation.
I sniffed a couple of these at a BR store and enjoyed Néroli Woods but I think Vintage green sounds bomb, I love fig fragrances so that would be my #1 choice. I live in PA. Thanks for the video and giveaway!
never got to smell leather reserve or linen vetiver, but i totally agree with your ranking of the six i know; although, i'd swap your no. 1 & 2--oud mosaic wins, then vintage green. i just love how stinky oud mosaic is--in a good way.
I really liked that you made this video. They r affordable and seem nice too plus there is an outlet not too far from me so I'll have to they to check it out! Please include me in the giveaway I am from CT! I like ur choices but if I win I would like to try 78 Vintage Green! Thank you!
Sebastian is right again, I picked up vintage green for $22 at tj max. Its is better than laventure knight and cool water for me...bright, fresh and great performance on my skin which is rare
Hello after watching your video I blind purchased 78 vintage green and vetiver sunrise. I must say i was very pleased the choices. You have good taste or at least our tastes line up. Keep up the good work. Thanks
I would like to try the black since i purchased the the other 3. So far i been utilizing the cypress but i am waiting for the 78 to arrive since i ordered it 3 days ago. Like the video as i said earlier i purchased these because of you. I am from NJ and live in a woodsy area and the neroli woods and Cypress fit right in.
I haven’t tried any of these but I’ve heard a lot about Neroli Woods. So if I were to win I’d choose that one. I do love Neroli so I’m sure I’d like this one. Thanks for the opportunity. I live in Florida.
I like that you mentioned which should not be on the list, I would like to have the much talked about Vintage Green and I'm from Texas. Please and thank you.
I have (and completely agree with) your thoughts on Vintage Green and Oud Mosaic. I would be most intrigued to try Black Platinum. Thanks for the giveaway! New York.
Sebastian, great video. I did not like Cypress Cedar, I tried it and I think it’s overpowering. I did try the 78 vintage green, and I agree with you that it’s really nice. That’s the fragrance I would want and I’m in Virginia.
All the way from Mulberry Fl love your reviews very entertaining and informational. Really interested in 78 Vintage Green haven't gotten my nose on fig scent. Hope I get picked and thx anyway.
I have been waiting for you to do a review on Banana Republic iconic, since you have mentioned a number of them. I have tested Vintage Green (because of your fig video) and Pure White on skin; I would be interested in winning Vintage Green. Florida
Thank you for introducing this collection to me Sebastian; I was not aware of these prior to your video. Please tell tell me if all these are masculine or more unisex in nature. If I was lucky enough to win I would like to try 06 Black Platinum. This would be shipping to MN, thanks.
I shop at Banana Republic often and never thought to give their fragrances a try. This is probably because I associate store fragrances with ones like Abercrombie Fierce. I’ll have to stop by the Banana outlet near me and check these out. Neroli Woods sounds like a nice scent! I live in Virginia.
Great video Sebastian. Always a pleasure to watch your videos. I own Neroli Woods and I love it, but I would like to try Vintage Green. Best of luck to all. I 'm in Miami.
Awesome review...I own vintage green and pure white. I'm with you Sebastian, out of the line vintage green is my favorite (awesome scent). I would like to try oud mosaic. From Ohio
I think that the Icon Collection may be discontinued at BR, several of the fragrances have been on clearance for several months. The Icon Collection displays units have been removed from the stores and the fragrances are no longer featured on the BR website, and stock levels are almost non-existent in most stores.
I liked this video because you gave a nice thorough descriptive information on each of the fragrances! Oud Mosaic 17 seems the most interesting to me because I like oud fragrances and that is the one I would love to win for this giveaway! I live in Phoenix, Arizona.
Great video!! I have Neroli Woods and Black Platinum. I am definitely interested in the rest of the fragrances in the line. I’m super interested in Vintage Green. Can’t wait to try that one out! Oh yeah... I’m in ATL GA
I have not heard of or tried. I liked you doing almost the entire line. I think the Oud would be the one for me although I love fig. I'm in Ohio. Thanks for another opportunity to win something wonderful.
Picked up Neroli Woods & Vintage Green. Both are wonderful, but the Neroli Woods was undetectable in under an hour - I actually returned it. The Vintage Green performs much better and is a wonderfully fresh and crisp summer fragrance.
