James' "Hello" at 6:01 is one of the greatest ever moments. Usually when something is cringey it's just that, but this moment was both cringey and funny.
That wheel at 7:47 charging towards them could have done some serious damage to somebody's legs, possibly gone straight through them. With the scythed chariot would have been one hell of an accident.
"Great news!" "What?!" "The Dac- *W H E E Z E S* " "We know what it is" Honorable mention: "Great news!" "What?" "The Dacia Sandero, I got a new picture!"
Richard: "james what are you doing" James: "shooting at jeremy" Richard: "hes on our side" James " James: "well why wouldnt you" Richard: "good point" 😂😂😂 one of the funniest bits of top gear
around this time was seriously peak Top Gear. It had the famous line "Oh no, anyway", it had hot women as seen in 6:01, it had incredible and hillarious challenges such as the Japanese race (my favourite of all their races) and the police car challenge. But imo the most peak of all Top Gear was I think the series after with the Tornado steam train and the unveiling of the Stig himself all in the same episode. The relationship these guys had with eachother was just unbeatable, was truly the best in TV history. They were like old school mates.
It hit the axle. If it had been angled to go through the rubber of the tire it might've worked better. Instead of striking metal it would've hit something it could shred.
One of James' funniest moments is part of the first clip where he says "how's this gunna when you pull up outside someone's house to tell them that their husband's just been killed in an industrial accident"
When ever I see those wheel spikes I think of the movie Grease. I just couldn't remember that it was from Grease, so I had to look it up on TV tropes. xD
The start of comedy oriented top gear over comprehensive automotive reviews 0:40 the audience laughter really affected the mentioned car's sales in the uk as it was only sold for 2 years in the uk
I know that much of this show is scripted. But the first clip of Clarkson and May laughing at Hammond's Suzuki has to be proof that some things are not revealed to all three of the blokes ahead of time. I can't believe that they could laugh like that if they knew what was coming.
This should never have been forced off the air. Viewers knew exactly what they were getting and if you had any sense of humor at all, tears of laughter were not uncommon.
