Charlotte Dunois I am going to show this to my gf and see if she likes that car. She has pretty good taste so if she says it’s uncool you know Jeremy is full of it.
5:40 How on earth did they manage to find the only girl in the world who thinks that scaffolding in the back of a car is cool?? Had to be on top gear xD
@Mike R. The most fame she's going to get from this is a friend or boyfriend watching this episode and saying "Hey, is that you?" No one knows who she is
@Mike R. She didn't say that, she said she likes the roll cage. She'd probably like it just as much if it was in a track built Honda Civic. You clearly are not a car enthusiast, because then you'd know that car enthusiasts see roll cages, wings, etc, as a visible representation of performance, and I shouldn't need to explain why we like that
To be fair, I think that Clarkson could have quoted random stuff from a physics text book and she would have found it really interesting. Would've been hanging off every word!
I just have to wonder what sort of exhaust manifold you need, to get 9 tailpipes out of a 4 cylinder engine? Even if it were a 16 valve engine (I sincerely doubt it is, but it's admittedly highly modified) why not 8? That would make more sense.
My point is not that it's cool because it's now even more expensive than it was new. I'm saying if it was uncool in the car community, I don't think it would appreciate in value like it has. There's a difference.
My parents have owned a 2004 Volkswagen Jetta wagon, a 1986 Volkswagen Golf, and two Volkswagen Passat wagons. They are all very reliable, but not really.
I got a 1998 Toyota Kijang/Revo SUV Its still kicking, but if i walk up to Jeremy Clarkson and tell him that, he'll put it on the uncool section cause it wants to straight up burn us
i dunno how they can make fun of mercedes not being reliable ... but then again, what would they know? not like they drive old cheap cars and being on budget, they get paid more than average person, so they drive new cars. i've had to struggle with older used cars my entire life and i can say that mercedes is one of the most reliable .. unless they're whining about wipers or light switches breaking, i'm talking reliable as it wont leave you on side of the road. i'd put ford, bmw and mercedes in top 5 for sure, but mostly older ones, like 80s and 90s models, maybe early 2000s aswell. ones that didn't fully rely on electrics.
@@K_ingh16 You have to pay the BBC a yearly licence to watch any tv- including other channels- in the UK, and if you dont pay it, they send bailiffs to your house and bully you.
