*Jeremy:* "Well, James May is dead, but I can feel his presence, like he's still with us." *James:* "Oh cock." *Richard:* "Sometimes I can still hear his voice."
Richard Hammond has near fatal accident: Nation stops & holds a candlelight virgil for weeks. James May Dies: The British public - 'Does this mean we wont be getting a Dacia Sandero road test?'
I mean either way they have a great chemistry on screen, and I don’t think you really have to spend that much time off work to be able to have that kind of connection when you have been working together for literal decades.
Well CarEnthusiast 91 he's expired, passed on and met his maker as well as briefly communicated from the afterlife following his tragic demise in which his body ceased to be, so that's a no.
"Now what was I saying?" "I don't know, you were ramblin' on, I've spent my life standing next to you while you ramble on" I don't think anyone, ever, will achieve this level of banter
When one of them inevitably dies: "As you'd expect, I've done this properly" or "I was the first to arrive....in hell" "This is the hottest place (indefinite pause).... in the world"
Hell? I’m convinced they go to the same place every unsalvageable car goes. A paradise made of the best tracks/roads in reality and fiction where no car breakdowns no matter how hard or crazy you drive it.
2:30 You can hear somebody start wheezing with laughter. Also, their little interactions in this video, particularly the "voice from beyond", are the perfect presentation of their friendship.
If you look closely at 1:10 you will see Jeremy is wearing a fake Rolex which proves that he is still getting paid poorly what proves James could be still alive...
I thought it was a joke video and he was just gonna walk by a lot then they would yell kidding or he would walk up and say something funny. I guess he’s just ... dead ... 😢😢😢😢
Although I understand what transpired, and the revised Top Gear is loads better now that Chris Evans is out (I think Rory has turned out to be a real find), I miss Clarkson May and Hammond. I can't get The Grand Tour yet, but at some point I'll be able to, and when I do I'll be able to enjoy these three again, plus Top Gear, PLUS the revised Top Gear America, which also changed its cast and is now vastly better. Add in a few fun shows like Wheeler Dealers and Chasing Classic Cars with Wayne Carini and I'll be in automotive heaven!
lets be fair none of the modern top gear shows will ever compare to 3 humans of questionable intelligence making fun of each other while trying to get each other killed to show you how good a car is
As much as top gear made this "write to us" job, how often do you think actual letters got sent to the BBC offices? Wonder if anyone bothered opening them or just shredded them
