I think they cut it because it simply didn't really fit. How many people know about Ray Mears? It really just doesn't feel like it fits with the rest of the show. They had to cut the footage down for broadcast, and this segment was the obvious choice.
@@anzaca1 You really don't HAVE to know Ray Mears. Each country has their own version of such jungle-survivor types. People can easily understand even if they don't know one.
I hate it when instructional videos don't show the process of making something to save time and instead show us a pre-made version of the final product. It defeats the whole purpose of it being an instructional video. I'm really glad Top Gear made fun of it.
For example, you crash your Rimac in the middle of a field, you're in big trouble, or are you? What you need is some mopane wood and a pen knife. Whittle away until you have a 90 kWh Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide battery, four separate liquid-cooled permanent magnet synchronous electric motor for your wheels and carbon ceramic brakes. Simply pop that into a fire, and you're going to be okay.
thanks for putting this stuff here I know all of this can be found on the top gear website, but u have to dig through so many pages of car reviews and uninteresting trash to get to it XD
