Disclaimer: Risa has elected for a more middleweight version of the build. Now that patch 1.06 is here, this is more relevant since mid-weights have been buffed immensely. Also I think the deadfall technique is dead now (been removed). Risa's Middleweight version: Zimmerman 2x, Vvc-700LD, VP-61PS, VP-44D, Mind Alpha core, Basho Arm, Tian-Qiang legs, G2/P04 Boosters, Ocellus FCS, San-Tai, Pulse Armor Check out Yuki Yomizi here! twitter.com/Yuki_Yomizi www.youtube.com/@Yuki_Yomizi Share code for Risa's Misery Index (PC): PZ5R5QR77WM7 Share code for Yuki Yomizi's Metal Slab MK4 (PC): VFN35ZP7TQ9T Check out the narrator, RamenRook here! www.youtube.com/@RamenRook
Interesting. 432 has also adopted a mid-weight version of his Zimmer-Shield, and he's damn good. You might wanna check out his new build too. FYI, I piloted the same build but it was something completely different from his machine...
Had a feeling that the sub missed his point at 9:38, so allow me here to reiterate why he fires shotguns separately. After getting opponent staggered with a zimm, if you hit him with another zimm at the end of stagger, the opponent gets a knock-back extending the time that he can't even move. You can then go for a kick into second round of zimm which is otherwise not reloaded. So basically, you get +1 free zimm bonus compared to simultaneous shots + kick.
As a BVO player, this is the one type of build that reliably messes me up. I cant imagine facing one of these two in a game. Just throw the whole AC away at that point.
for those who say using this takes no skill don't fully understand what this game asks of you. You win the game in the in the build screen just as much as you do in the match itself. They found a playstyle they vibe with and hevily optimized their builds around it. Risa and 432 also mention how important it is to adapt and observe your opponent as well as the techs they mentioned. The work these two put in is apparent and is crazy.
I actually learned a lot from this. Not a big fan of playing as a Zimm rush down build, but I feel like the nerfs against the zimm also don't make playing against it as bad either. The stagger free fall was interesting, I didn't know about that. Although, tbh, you really shouldn't have to kick to initiate that. There's an activate boost button and all it is good for is stopping you from walking and quick turning. I feel like it would be much better to be able to just turn the booster of with that button as well which would allow initiation of that free fall while also providing more aerial control.
I think a some of this build's origins can also be attributed to Blend, who doesn't play much anymore but dominated early tourneys and scrim nights with a double zimm-laser drone-shield Tetra. I wouldn't be surprised if multiple people concurrently evolved to similar builds due to the overally synergy between Zimm and Shield and Kicks.
I actually first remember a similar build from CodyKRSW vs Boles near the game’s launch. Coral shield with tetra legs instead of Tian-Quing vs a heavyweight missile boat.
I'm unfortunately not really built for traditional streaming or content creation, if I did I don't think it would be very entertaining. Who knows, maybe at some point, thanks for the support 💜
@@ultima-risa Thanks for clearing it up. I do hope you come around. Your gameplay is exciting and that's good enough for me. But no pressure-you have my support either way!
I'd been wondering if the Misery Index name was named after the band of the same name, but said band also took inspiration from that album's name and style when picking theirs. Neat to see.
Thanks for this content. I've been a player since AC and always looked up to the PvP players since then. Your vid helps me understand PvP mechanics better!
really enjoying your series bringing in the best of the best of each build truly hats off to u and the effort ur putting in to reach out and make this happen
Damn what a hype video! This is something i would show my friends to make them play AC6! Thank you for your effort time and energy you put into this vid! It's professional and very high quality, its a true pleasure to watch it!
I should honestly try this build out, it looks really fun and I'm always a sucker for well rounded builds. I bet it's quite a bit harder to play than people give it credit for too, lot of interesting decision making like whether to take a hit on your shield, avoid it with qb/ab strafe, or just take it on the chin and power through, which becomes especially difficult as you have to also consider the current state of your stagger bar (where higher values may make tanking/shielding less appealing) as well as your en (which makes qb/ab strafe less appealing). Lot of cool defensive decisions that literally every lightweight player cannot relate to, since we just qb everything.
Just got the notification, gonna watch tonight but I appreciate coming here and seeing folks acknowledge that there are snap decision moments with heavies that actually are just *different* than with lights.
I learned stuff, and feel like i had the chance to tweak some of the ACs i have, so i say the experience was a success! looking forwar for the rest mate Mobi thanks!
Excellent video. Been a 432 fan although I don't know Japanese. It takes a lot of skills and practice to do well with this build. Love their attitude as they don't cry or blame the game when losing, they laugh and get better to win next time.
50 mercenary missions with COOP will give this game a ton of fun and life again. Pvp is stupid. Its everyone hating each other for wanting to win any way possible. In a coop, i wouldnt give a shit if they had a meta build. Brother’s in arms for mission completion
This is a great video. My only critique is that the human brain cannot listen to speech and read different text simultaneously, so they only way to actually take in all the good on-screen info is by constantly pausing the video. It would be great if the speech was edited to pause for on-screen information.
I use a build similar to this playstyle, but I use Vientos instead of zimmers. I also used the Tian legs and rooftop shoulders, though in the latter’s case it’s because it allowed me to put big decals on it lol. Still got me to B rank so far.
Started playing ac6 yesterday again, was pleasantly surprised there was a ranked mode (I quit after 3 days when i finished pve), copied 432's build and got to A rank playing for 5 ish hours non stop. Won't say the grind was worth it butnthe build definitely is top notch. Only hard matchup due to a BUG are tanks since you can't extend their stagger rn unless they're in the air. Everything else pretty winnable, I highly recommend to try it out!
AC Community caveman here. I did play with both these players and had quite a blast with both. I just didn't know they were famous lol Perhaps I should get out there and join the communities :D
I've been trying to get into these builds and while I do find myself winning with inspired builds I just can't in good conscious use them. So I constantly create new builds (often lightweight or medium since I hate how slow heavy builds can be) to be able to optimize my build. Also zimmermans I just can't get into but I'm slowly getting over it and using themselves more often to overcome it.
This series inspired me to make my own build and man when I say a literal game changer when you find what works, please do melee builds next,we need REPRESENTATION 🤣
I was Rank 9 for some time. My build had no weakness. Head - verril Core- main dish Arms - tian Loa Legs - VE-42a Weapons- two coral nebula Back- SPL 16 Back- SPL 12 Gen- NGI Booster NGI FCS- Talbot Stay in the air, don’t come down, charge your shots. Have fun countering the meta 😉
1100 players on PC platform currently reached S rank (Single), quite wondering how they getting up there so fast compares to other platform...and yes, the metas......
They hated him for speaking the truth. The ranked experience has been so miserable that Fromsoft could somehow fix all of the game's problems for the rank reset at the end of February and I probably wouldn't come back for a second climb. Really soured what had been, up to that point, an immaculate PVE and casual PVP experience.
