Song Hye Kyo in a fan meeting once said, that after LBH and Hyun Bin (in an LDR while she was shooting in China), she doesnt want to date anymore but just marry immediately because evryone around her says she is old. So Song Joong Ki took that oportunity to talk to her mother and pursue SHk. Still, ended up in divorce.

She’s not too busy for a 5 minute phone call with her husband or to listen to a voicemail message. She probably has an agent/assistant - tell them to deliver a letter. If he wanted to tell her privately, there are a million and one ways to do so. He wanted a public spectacle, he wanted her to be taken by surprise. That’s simply not fair. If it was the other way around and she was the one who divorced him publicly without telling him, I’m sure you’d agree with me.
Everyone was blaming Song Hye kyo accusing her of being a bad wife. But no one saw the fault of Song Joong Ki. She didn't even come out guns blazing to defand herself or put him in a bad light. She just shut her mouth, worked in silence and let God do the rest. She's an embodiment of what a strong woman is. She earned my respect. Shout-out to her mom for holding her down. Infact shout-out to all our moms, we wouldn't be here with out their prayers and support. I don't know the full story and don't know the reason for the divorce but from what he did, his personality definitely showed. I'm disappointed in him.
Song joong ki served compulsory military service so when he got back he was not as famous and he had a career to build up again. He used song hye kyo as ladder as she was one of the most famous female lead at that time. When he got up there he found no use for her. For him ..she was just part of a pr strategy to get fame. It was song hye kyo who had to deal with all the drama and backlash and I'm proud of her to stay strong during those times.
That's the point she is good in professional life but not in personal life that's why she ends up getting divorce and you are comparing her personal life with professional life

I kinda get it. I'm a guy, if I was working long hours, constantly out of town, making work calls, and always thinking about work, I wouldn't blame my partner if they felt like I wasn't present in the relationship. That being said, divorcing and not saying anything is only acceptable in specific situations, like an abusive relationship where the person could get violent. Also, no way the guy didn't know she'd be busy. If you're dating a celebrity near the prime of their career obviously they're gonna be busy.

Song Jong Ki was wrong to publicly announce his divorce while she's out of town. Imagine about 2 or 3 months before the said divorce filing, he was in an award show saying her wife supported him and such and the bam! Song Hye Kyo got blamed for their divorce because he filed it when in fact, until now nobody knows the real reason. Song Hye Kyo never said anything about their divorce and about him too.

Although we might not know what happened in their marriage, we do know how they both reacted and responded during the divorce process and how fast or slow they both moved on with new partner(s). That revealed volumes about who they are as individuals. I have always respected celebrities that remained silent and don’t talk to the media about their spouse’s or their exs’ shortcomings. Those that talked has no class. Not saying they can’t talk, just not to the media and for the whole world to see.
