Lumion is great now. Real looking renderings really fast. Good to know about the subsurface scattering. I think that table demo also shows that “round” area lights would be a great and welcoming new feature.
When Lumion emerged, it disrupted the industry with great vision and innovation. For some reason, it has lost its vision of creativity and innovation. The updates are very minimal, and there are no artificial intelligence updates. I used to be very excited about the Lumion updates. I think Lumion should start thinking outside the box to keep up with the changes in the world. Value for the experience seems too expensive.
I agree with the vision loss, it's missing some great aspiration, like paint with materials, shading, grunge's, animation, camera settings. I loved Lumion so much, but now as you said, it's just some minimals release. Before, they added many game changer each year!
Sketchup, Revit and Rhino are not the only "main architecture modelling softwares" around, you know. Just saying. Consider the softwares you currently have the Lumion LiveSync plugin/addon for.
