As I have said many times, that movie has a lot of problems. That scene is not one of them. The line "you'll never stop at one" so perfectly encapsulates why you never, EVER trust someone like Megatron. Give an inch, he'll take 100s of miles.

Transformers 2007: Prime stabs Bonecrusher through the face. ROTF: Prime rips Grindor's face in half, shoots Megs in the face with his own cannon and rips off the Fallen's face. DOTM: Prime rips out Shockwave's eye, rips off Megatron's head. AOE: He stabs Lockdown and cuts his head in half. TLK: Tries to stab Bee in the face, and thankfully failed. 😅 Also cuts off the heads of Infernocus in one sword swing. Bumblebee: Grabs decepticons by the head and slams them to the ground. ROTB: Gives Scourge the DOTM treatment with a sword through the head. I see a pattern here, and I'm loving it.🗿

Michael Bay’s Transformers movies were one of the biggest parts of my childhood. the kickass action and badass robots meant everything to me growing up. Not gonna say it went perfect to the end but I’d say it had a blast on its run and went out pretty with a bang. Though Bay passed the torch to the others now- and I agree it was a great decision for something new- Bayverse films were awesome and spectacular in their own ways, gave good times and fun memories. And in those memories they live on.

No? He would never kill them after the 4th movie unless it was on self defense. HELL, you didn't understand his arc if you think he wants to kill humans, the only human he ever killed is at the end of the 4th movie and it was never because it was another species, but because he needed to avenge his lost camrades, especially since Cade showed him humans are still something worth fighting for. Even as Nemesis Prime in Transformers 5, he never killed them, he only ever did warning shots after being attacked by them.

The scene from ROTF where Optimus takes three of the Deceptions, some of which are probably the most powerful ones, accompanied by the version of New Divide will forever remain as one of the best moments with this character amongst all media portrayals. And then of course the killing spree from DOTM - Prime’s arrival changed the course of the battle within seconds. Yet again accompanied by amazing score, this time by Steve Jablonsky. These two and many more other moments from the first five films still give goosebumps!

This is the Reason why Caple Jr and Bay should work together on the Next Movies if possible. Michael Bay shines in his Fight scenes and Caple jr actually does justice to every character according to how they should be. I know he gets a lot of negativity, but I really like Michael Bay as a director. The original 3 Transformers films are childhood classics in my eyes. I also really had fun with 6 Underground. 13 Hours and Ambulance are probably my favorite films by him.

Gentleness and ruthlessness, balanced in one. Glad the live action brought Optimus into that next level of entertainment, and so a reminder (again) "nice guys aren't wimps or pushovers should provoked." Conviction driven by goodness and self-sacrifice goes a long way, including opportunity to get resurrected couple times.

No he wasn't holding back, and he can't take on Megatron, he only got the advantage of a nerfed Megatron in 09 who was revived with different body parts, weaker smaller arms and legs.

3:14 Fun Fact: That projectile is actually a miniature warhead, which is why it sent Megs flying. Had it gone further and been allowed to arm, the results would be a lot more.....explosive.

Optimus fighting 3 decepticons in the Transformers 2 is one of the best piece of hero fighting against all odds and actually winning" or "Our favorite hero is OP and can take on more enemies with ease" moments in whole cinematography. It gives you great feeling, heroic, hopeful moments where you trully root for your hero and the good feeling just pours in while you see him winning.

I love how optimus is just pure brutal. Dude doesn't hold back an ounce in a fight. Without context, you'd almost think he was the main villain from how merciless he beats on everyone else.
