Regarding the deplorable act from DeSantis, the sheriff in the Texas County is getting life threats. I'd hold DeSantis personally responsible if anything happens to the sheriff.
DeSantis is so hateful that he punished Disney by taking away their special tax status for disagreeing with his prejudicial social agenda. He shot himself in the foot there, costing adjacent counties a bundle in services Disney had shouldered. His kidnapping of migrants looks like a big problem for him. ☺️ Get a dependable advisor and listen Gov.

I have been practicing law in NY for many years, and I can say that the lawyers in the AG's office are top notch. AG James would not make this move unless she was sure it was a lock.

The Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is bought and paid for despite him being a Democrat. What possible explanation could he have in order to justify not indicting Donald Trump when the evidence to support an indictment is clear cut.
It is sad that a man as low in character and human conduct as Trump should have been allowed to run for the American presidency. And if it was a systemic error that he ran in 2016, why will the system even allow him to launch a campaign again in 2022. My first thought when hearing about the DeSantis stunt was, "That sounds like kidnapping." Throw in transporting minors across State lines under false pretenses and it sounded like a major criminal act. I can only imagine the reaction of someone whose job this sort of thing actually is. At some point "it's just politics" has to stop being a valid cover for serious criminal activity. We're circling the drain right now.

There's a lot of other personalities analyzing this out there. But one thing I love about. Brian is his calm demeanor and the guests that he has share the same most of the time. All the issues are put forward professionally, without a ton of histrionics and in a way that we can all understand.

Glenn Kirschner's words are like music to my ears. He is so knowledgeable and so well spoken it's truly inspiring. This man knows the law better than most attorneys and even judges. And he can explain complex legal concepts so clearly that almost anyone should be able to understand. He's an oracle of the law and I'm so grateful for his wisdom and his delivery.
I'm beginning to think Kirschner knows the law so well that the judges are embarrassed that they don't know the law as well and will start finding against his side for that. Some people are petty, stupid, and arrogant that way.
That was fascinating! WHY are we not hearing analysis like this on national TV? Everyone needs to hear experts talk about the laws that could be applied to Trump and DeSantis.

My only problem with Glen is that sometimes his in depth answers are too good, and may alert the defense teams of things they need to consider and wiggle out of. Also, I really would also like to hear a justification for Alvin Bragg's action in dropping the New York criminal RICO case against Trump. Right now, it looks like Bragg was influenced by the defendant.

@Moving Forward Not sure of the sequence of events, the cast of characters and all, but it all seems REALLY dodgy. Suddenly, the lead DAs, publicly convinced they have a very strong case, are pretty much told to stand down, and they resign in protest, to boot. Stinks like a week-old dead fish.
Yep, he has integrity and is not allowing his personal political beliefs interfere with justice. When his own party breaks the law, he can look at it objectively and say, "That's wrong regardless of your affiliation. Before Trump weaponized stupidity in America, neither party would have stood for this BS as was the case with Nixon, and I think Dearie represents a different era of US justice. Perhaps he realizes that this might help moderates who are on the fence and voted blue simply to depose Trump lean back to the right, which it very well may.

Illinois has sent former governors to jail for actions taken while they were in power - so there is good precedent. I am looking forward to seeing that happen again in this case.
