I beat Nadal and Federer in any Grand Slam finals, it's hard but I still can beat them, Djokovic on the other hand is a fucking final boss-level of a match. He always pushes me to my limits whenever I have to beat him at the finals.

All I can tell you is that while playing the career mode I go up to the net the first chance I get, I really never play at the baseline unless I'm trying to get close to the net. Aren't volleys the returns you make while being close to the net?, because that's basically 99% of my game, and as I already told you, Federer doesn't give me much trouble, unlike Djokovic. I'm just talking about the career mode, I've never played online.
Positioning and timing are the most important factors in this game. Timing is easy. Good positioning usually takes more thinking (experience in real life tennis helps). Also strategy helps win the game faster/easier. Doing a serve and volley once in a while can be effective. I dont recommend drop shots but a well timed drop shot can force the opponent to create an easy winner for yourself.
@MrAlcadrios I haven't played expert mode in a while now. But all the rest of the pros were very easy to beat, except djokovic. Have you beat Djokovic in expert mode with ease? i might try it out later this weekend
The problem with this game is that - for Grand Slams - the difficulty level is simply incremented by one when you reach the Semi Final and Final stages. Therefore "Hard" becomes "Expert", etc. This makes it a very uneven game. You could spend all year destroying any opponent at any tournament except, inexplicably, when you reach the Semis or Final of a Slam when it becomes almost impossible. This means you generally beat the Top 4 really quite easily in the finals of most events up until a Slam, when their ability is notched up a few hundred percent because it's the Semis. Players should have the same ability regardless of event. I do not expect to beat Gilles Simon in straight sets all year, only to lose 6-0 6-0 6-0 to him because it happens to be the SF of a Slam. Has there ever been an instance of a player cleaning up ATP500 and Masters events year after year, and to cruise through the first five rounds of each Grand Slam in straight sets, only to then lose 6-0 6-0 6-0 in the Semi Finals at every Slam they play?
@LeebeKing Well, you're not the only one... I played with Nadal on Top Spin 2 in hard mode against Hewitt on clay. It was a best of 3 set match and I won the first one 6:3 and was up 4:2 in the second, but he came back and won it 7:5 in the tie-break. Then, I was up 5:0 in the 3rd set and had a couple of match points, even 40:15 on my own serve on one occasion and he came back again and won 7 straight games! I was so pissed off but crushed him 6:1, 6:0, 6:1 the next time. :)
Change your strategy? Usually it's something small that I overlook the first time I played Djoko or Murray...use different returns....change it up..throw some top spin in there..
If we are talking about the graphics Virtua Tennis is a little bit better but the gameplay and the reality of this sport definitely belong to Top Spin 4...
Hey man, a question: On PS3 we can't play a co-op TS4 game between two created players (or make the CPU play as a created player). I read on a forum that it is possible on xbox 360 (one person logs in on a different account I think is what they said) so....is it possible to play CAP vs CAP on xbox 360?? I will literally buy an xbox360 & the game if the answer is yes
i feel your pain! djokovic is the one who goes superhuman on me more than any of them. murray is annoying to play but doable. and especially with these stupid new "fixes" where they totally nullify my slice, i can only beat djokovic with my power players this is a great game but there's so much bullshit in it, like how your character will never be as good as the "legends" who have a higher rating and an extra skill

I was disappointed with the Expert mode difficulty. If you're gonna make a difficulty locked at least make it hard enough for the CPU to actually be able to take a set off you -_-
nadal is much easier to beat than djokovic, you just pick on his backhand with deep shots/slices when you're in trouble. djokovic is the toughest and then murray for me, for djok u hit deep to his bh till he gives you a short ball to go for and then keep at it... in real life his bh is the best in the sport my best character so far has a 1 serve, 3 offensive b, 16 defensive b, jon samala as coach with a 92 fh, 90 stamina or something, monster defense and instant rocket... i'm such a nerd.
Anyone know any good pc tennis game,and that is not Virtal tennis,i remeber one game where u can get outfits like clown,and then go to play charity tournaments for kids... i also remeber that the gameplay was not so good,I looked everywhere... And i just can't seem to remember the game :P
no offense dude but u dont look like ur good enough to b playing expert mode and topspin 1 in my opinion was the best one although this is def 2nd best :)

I mean the reason I can't take top spin 4 seriously... Djokovic not only has a greater forehand than backhand (83 to 78) for the game producers but he also has a greater forehand than Nadal (83 to 82). This is really ridiculous. As for the ball dynamics, I can't understand how like 70-80% of the balls in a normal rally fall in or near the service box. That's kind of ridiculous in addition with the exaggerated amount of top spin.
ti oces reci da su hrvati izazvali rat?pa de vid sta ti govoris,srbi su napali vukovar i naravno da se nasi morali iz madjarske uvoziti oruzje radi obrane,u to vrijeme se raspadao i sssr a buduci da je jugoslavija i nastala po uzoru na njih morala je i juga se raspast,ali srbi nisu tjeli jer su oni bili na vlasti i njima je bilo dobro,pa je doslo do sukoba
