Hey Alonzo, I have a question for you. I am originally from Duroc, California, born and raised, and when I was back home I realized that part of the city was unincorporated. I never really knew what that meant. As I watch your videos, I notice that many of the neighborhoods you profile are set in unincorporated parts of whatever city they are in. So my question is this, what is the significance of a part of a city being unincorporated? What are the socioeconomic implications? How does it affect policing, schools, crime statistics, so on and so forth. Some clarification on the matter would be greatly appreciated. I know I could probably google it and get a halfway decent understanding, but I also know that you'll be able to provide a unique perspective being that you do what you do. Thank you in advance.

I wish we could see tours of all these hoods...Kelly Park, Denver Lane, Atlantic Drive, etc. I wonder who actually lived in the "best" and "worst" places in terms of housing, schools, roads, etc. Like is Inglewood nicer than Compton or Watts? Just cuz our buildings arent as old as yours out East you think that makes our hoods a paradise? Do you know the history that blacks and browns have gone through in LA county? Look at the Zoot Suit Riots by the Mexicans, the Watts riots in the 60s, and the riots of 92. Life for blacks and browns has been fucked up out here since we got here and once gangbanging got serious our streets turned into a warzone. We have projects too like Nickersons, JDs and Imperial Courts in Watts. Those definitely dont look like paradise lol besides the JDs got some new development going on now. My bad for the rant I just get tired of seeing East Coast dudes ask how we can gangbang living in California when its easy to see why this all started. For better or worse gentrification is happening in all major cities from East to West now though so parts like downtown LA are a lot different now. South LA still fucked up tho.
