You should be making stories and characters. You obviously seem to be one of the most knowledgeable members of the countdown community, and with your knowledge on various legends, stories, values, and other aspects, you have a WIDE pool to take inspiration to create some amazing stories and characters. I learn quite a bit from you to be honest.

If you ever do an elements month two, I think that these should be the elements you use: Ferromancy (Metal) Chloromancy (Wood/Plants/Nature) Photomancy (Light) Umbramancy (Shadow/Darkness) Echomancy (Sound) Gyromancy (Gravity) Chronomancy (Time)

Oscar, Elements month was a _huge_ inspiration for fighting styles in a story a friend and I are working on. We produced a pyromancer, a combination aeromancer and electromancer, an aquamancer/cryomancer combo, and a geomancer. All inspired by characters featured in these six lists.

Make a Psychics list. Characters that fight using their mind. whether its Telepathy, telekinisis, or mind control (without the use of mental programming or drugs). There are TONS of characters that do this. Psycho mantis, Mewtwo, Mew, Quan Chi (he uses mind control), Ness, Lucas, Alma Wade, Athena (KOF), Dio Brando, Ermac, Bison, Kenshi, Razputin (psychonauts), Sabrina (pokemon), The Sorrow, Alden Tate......

I hope for the next Weapons month we get: Top 10 Shield Users(sometimes the defense is a good offense) Top 10 Gauntlets Wielders Top 10 Spike Masters(those who use spikes, needles, or quills to fight) Top 10 Knife Masters

What a newfound appreciation. #7: God damn.. The lore from the get-go. Leave it to Riot to make great lore. Nice skills as usual. #6: You opened this can of worms and you will describe it damnit! This spot would have been higher in my eyes. This guy rocks! #5: Your entries do not bother me. Also, very much in agreement on being a bit disappointed in the lack of true representation. But, it is quite awesome. #4: D: We have to kill him... But, he was awesome. Super awesome. But, if what you said about the lore is true, we did good... #3: She is at #3? Damn. Also, it is actually K Dash. Not just K. She's such a delight to watch but, I don't really prefer playing her. Too busy with Iori. #2: He got to #2? Sick. Love this guy. And, what he represents rocks. Shame he's not a higher tier but, those pros know how to deal. #1: DAMN RIGHT HE TAKES #1. I'd have your head (and spine) otherwise! My main man! I don't need to say anything else.

Ice has always been my favorite element, so thank you for making this

I always loved these, because you don't just look at what they can do and move on. You delve deep into the lore and reveal things most people would never know. I'm not much of a Pokemon fan(I never got out of Gen1), but the lore for Kyurem was amazing! It's the attention to detail game developers put into backstory that usually makes me love a game even more. Some people may not find LoL fun(I do, I just don't play often), but you'd be hard pressed to find a champion that doesn't have a masterfully written story. I'll be looking forward to the next Weapons "Month".

It's funny how everyone hates Bo Rai Cho but he's taught some of the most powerful Earthrealm Kombatants such as Liu Kang and Sub Zero.

The coolest list you've made so far, pun entirely intended. Let's get the finale of WM4 overwith, shame light and darkness don't get a pass. 10. Whoa, Mitsuru Kirijio at number 10. Not to mention, Tara Platt does her justice. 9. Figured he'd be here. Plus, his battles in the CoM and the remake are sublime. Let me fill in the gaps: He can conjur ice needles which follow you around, create a homing missile version of Blizzara and has two exclusive attacks depending on who you choose. For Riku he calls forth a blizzard that damages you over time, and for Sora, he channels his cryomancy into his shield, like most Shaman's do in Shaman King merging a spirit into a physical weapon. He then turns his shield into... a giant ice blade. Cool is an understatement with this guy. 8. Kyurem gets a lot of attention. This is no exception. Plus, Marc Thompson does the dragon justice. 7. Whoa, I kinda wonder when Ashe will learn of Lissandra's treachery. Only time will tell but time seems to be at a standstill in the Freliord. 6. Oh boy, the moment you said Blazblue I figured the Brother lover would be here, Major Jin Kisaragi ladies and gentlemen. 5. Final Fantasy's Shiva. Now there's a cryomancer. 4. This dude was... no I won't say it. Anyway, I kinda liked this guy. Nintendo, if you make Prime 4 bring this guy back, as a playable character! 3. Kula Diamond, I love her. If she were voiced by Kira Buckland I would make her my Waifu. 2. Glacius from Killer Instinct, I have a pretty good idea who your number 1 is... But it's that time again. Dot Warner: To go gaga over Jack Atlas? Wakko Warner: To watch magical girl anime? No, It's time for the recap. Number 10: Mitsuru Kirijo. Number 9: The coolest nerd. Number 8: The Antagonist of Pokemon Movie 15, Number 7: The enemy within. Number 6: Just walk away. Number 5: Shiva. Number 4: A very tragic boss. Number 3: Kula Diamond and number 2: Clacius. 1. I FREAKING KNEW IT! I KNEW IT I KNEW SUB-ZERO WOULD BE NUMBER 1 HERE! Surprised. A few friends did not make the list even as honorable mentions, you'll see the theme: Ice Man, Blizzard Man, Freeze Man, their Navi counterparts, Frost Man, Chill Penguin, Blizzard Buffalo and Wolfang, Frost Walrus, Avalanche Yeti, etc.

I always feel like I learn something from watching your countdowns. I like how much lore you bring up and how much research you use to help illustrate your points. That's what makes you my favorite countdown creator on RU-vid.

You know, lists like these makes me thing of what other mancers we could have. Like, I remember when I was younger, I always tried to come up with an Acidmancer. A magic user who used any kind of Acid to attack his enemies or melt his way through anything that stood in his way.

honestly you deserve 100K+ subscribers. you look so deeply into your countdowns and dont let any detail go unnoticed. you take the time to learn more about the subject you make the countdown about and explain it in a way that everyone knows what you are talking about and why they are at that spot

Whoa. I mean I knew Sub Zero was GOOD, but I didn't know he had THAT much power behind him or that much history. Nice work dude! You gave me a whole new respect for the guy! Lots of other good choices here too! Shiva, Kyurem, Jin, and of course Rundas. And yeah, considering how many cyromancers are in games, I gotta admit that picking a few is probably really HARD. A few other mentions I think about are the Ice Climbers, Jaina from the Warcraft universe (mainly her hero of the storm incarnation), and Overlord Pram from the Disgaea series. But I know it's games you've only played. On that note, I really think I need to check out the King of Fighters series. That girl Kula is really piquing my interest after seeing her on your AND Quarterguy's list.

FINALY...I have been waiting, and it was worth it as always.

Funny thing is, watching this during winter where I have to keep from freezing in what feels like 5 degrees at best today. Anyways, I'm glad you decided to make this to close out the Weapons Month even with all of the complications. The amount of research that you and ComicFoil do is impressive and something to be commended.

That Vexen is an odd member of Organization XIII, but I'm very glad he made into the list because he has some very good skills with his Ice and Shield :D Good thing you listened to ComicFoil. Kyurem is an amazing Ice Pokémon that deserved a spot on here >:) And of course Sub Zero is #1. He's the most iconic and badass Cryomancer in all of gaming. More than worthy of #1. Overall, another very solid list to finish Weapons Month IV. It was my favorite yet (And not just because it had a Kingdom Hearts rep in every list :P) I love elements and their use in fictional media, so it was very fun and informative to see you talk about all these character in depth. There are some flaws (I'm not a fan of each list being over 40 minutes long) but it didn't detract from the enterainment. Good job with the best Weapons Month yet, Oscar. I loved it :3

Without even watching the video, I knew that Sub Zero would be number one.

I think that The Lich King from WoW deserved a clean win in this list, or at least a spot on it. He has the ability to freeze even the strongest foes solid in an instant, can imbue magic wielders he raises from the dead with mastery over frost magic, sits atop the Frozen Throne, above Icecrown Citadel, in the frozen land of Northrend while wielding the runeblade Frostmorne, and he can conjure a blizzard so powerful it can drain the life from the most powerful of beings even when he was just the spirit of Ner'zul trapped in a block of ice. The only reason he is killed is because of the Holy Light itself allowing Tirion Fordring to shatter Frostmourne and freeing the thousands of trapped souls within, which hold him down long enough to finish him off.

Excellent lists as always, I have an idea for a future list if you haven't already thought of it. Top 10 Video Game Battle Medics, a list about those characters who put themselves in the line of fire to help their friends/allies. There's a lot of potential options for this kind of list, especially from RPGs and games based around characters having different roles on the battlefield, like Final Fantasy, Fire Emblem, League Of Legends, and etc. I'm not expecting you to make a list off my idea but I'd be honored if you at least considered it.

Ahh yeah!! Ice powers!! This was the power I would like to have if humans were capable of it. Or if we lived in a universe where such things were possible.

This is just a strange idea I thought off the top off my head: Guns Month. Automatic Weapon Wielders (gatling guns, assault rifles, SMGs) Shotgun Wielders Pistol Wielders Rocket Launcher Wielders Shield Users Why shield users? Because people will need a lot of guns when they see who is on the list. Don't take this too seriously though.

When i saw this pop up on my feed, i knew Lissandra (since LoL champs are ever present on Weapons Months, not a bad thing mind you), Glacius and Sub Zero had to be on the list. Glad to see i wasn't wrong in that. Lil sad to not see a Megaman boss make it but tbh, it's prob for the better since all these doods add a lot more diversity and better character than the robot masters/mavericks. I have to say, this was one cool countdown! I knew number 1 once I saw the topic but still learned more about the character then I had known. Another great video and I cannot wait to see the next one! OH and if I may ask, whats your opinion on the upcoming champion Jhin?

Good job Green Scorpion. You put the "ice" in nice. It's no wonder you were so burned out by electromancers you needed time to regain composure and cool off. If I had to give one complaint, that would be your entire list was so predictable. The only ones I didn't predict were Kula, Jin, and Mitsuro

Top Ten Umbramancers/Tenebramancers? It's the element of darkness and while most villains use this maliciously, the beautiful power within the darkness is all up to the wielder. Darkness as a whole is the opposite to light, bringing a balance to an otherwise blinding amount of light. The amount of users is very limited with main series big names being only of: Xehanort from Kingdom Hearts (Love to hate, disgustingly powerful), Nox (From smite as she uses shadows so precisely and perfectly), Syndra, Zed, and Veigar (Obvious League characters)

Just a science tidbit Oscar. Freezing doesn't cause the molecules in water to become closer, they actually become spread further apart. This causes ice to be less dense than water and thus can float.

Looking back at this video, it's like you sorta predicted the future, Oscar.

Ice powers are some of my favorite when it comes to fantasy, sci-fi, and really in any genre, it's honestly such a cool power both figuratively and literally.

Next Weapons Month, you might consider knife-wielders, gunslingers, hypnotists, alchemists, umbramancers, and photomancers.

This was a surprise. I thought Weapons Month 4 was over! (Also, I feel the need to mention my childhood series; Bionicle! While the elements aren't the same as this list series, Bionicle and its heroes and villains utilize the elements as well as any video game elemental. And with the series back for another round, I'm giving it a look and loving it.)

Now that I know more about the elements and how they're represented I can confidently write my story. I have a two-part question for you. What about people who use nature to fight? Or do you bunch that up with Geomancers?

if you intend to make another weapons month how about a top ten generals, puppeteers, summoners, necromancers, etc (make the title whatever you want). what i mean is any sort of one person or deity that goes into battle using the powers of others whether it be through leadership, tyranny, manipulation, summoning contracts, etc. they can be based on their control over their catalyst, the scale of that control, and complexity of their strategies. and while this list is primarily about the summoner in question, points can be given or docked depending on how strong and capable the partner/tool is and their bond with consideration with the type of relationship their is between leader and unit or units.

I think I'm gonna reprise a suggestion I made in the comments of the Electromancers video: If and when there's a Weapons Month V, there needs to be a Skylander on every list of that month...Not only do I KNOW you to be a Portal Master, Oscar(As Dino-Rang was among the honorable mentions for the Boomerang Wielders list, and he has an Eon's Elite variant now), but there's a Skylander for almost every fighting style/weapon. That said, my favorite cryomancer would have to be Chill...Not only is she cute, but her ice attacks even include the summoning of A GIANT GODDAMN NARWHAL, and she almost singlehandedly got me into the Skylanders series. That's saying something pretty great.

Dang I was hoping you would do ice for weapons month V along with plants, light darkness. And either metal, void, or time. It would just be awesome if that was the case. Well I hope you do them at some point.

i doubt youd see this now, and im not sure how this would be grouped in with anything, but what about adaptable fighters? people who seem proficient in multiple weapons. for example: Link from Hyrule Warriors. he's a master in swordplay, both off and on horseback, but also can use the magical Fire Rod, the brute strength of a Power Guantlet/iron ball combo, and the unique style of the Spinner. that's a lot of different styles, but he's mastered them all to a frightning degree

I laughed harder than I should have during the clip during Jin's entry.

If there was anyone that can qualify as a good live user, Mei from Overwatch is it. I mean with her addition to this MOBA like shooter, it literally changed the way you play the game. Anyways Mei was a climatologist studying weather patterns until her and a couple other scientists had to cryofreeze everyone. They wake up later during the story of Overwatch to the state of the Earth, which is also not fairing well with pollution and so much. So now she wants to help out so that the world can be a better place to live in. Her weapon is a freeze gun that acts like the Pyro's flamthrower except can slow down enemies. She can also shoot a icicle for more damage. Then she has several abilities, like freezing herself to act as a barrier and heals herself and to make a wall of ice that can be used as a platform. Before only a select few characters could be able to reach higher ground. Now with her in, ANYONE can take up those new angles. People like Bastion which is a thereby which means better turret placement, make it so anyone that deals a lot of damage can now use these new ways to move, and adds a new element for supports. And her ultimate? Named after the company Blizzard so you can guess. AOE of light damage and freezing. Crowd control and any enemy in her way will be left unable to do anything as a Reaper comes in to finish you off. Like ice can be used as protection, it is also support. It can make it so other things can be weak. Like frozen metal breaking. But you need another force to help with this. Which is why she is support. She can do a lot but can't kill on her own, and with an objective shooter, you need these enemies gone. But as Scorpion here said, ice is all about strategy to shatter our enemies. And that is exactly what Mei is. A new strategy that broke the mold that was Overwatch. Where the game drastically changes with her in it. Just like ice.
